@kungfoolai neither have I, yep side A is on one side of the DVD, flip it over to then watch side B, strange because I've never seen it before either, I mean they could have easily fit the 3 hrs and change onto one side and put a pretty disc label on the front
Have you ever seen Salem's Lot? Personally, it's the scariest Stephen King movie in my mind. Barlow is just terrifying, glad he only gets roughly a half hour of screen time out of the 3. They are apparently doing a remake, though. Dylan Baker could work for Pennywise, he was excellent in Trick 'r Treat,
i feel like, ur so good at describing the movie, you dont need clips, i mean maybe a little here and there. but the fun of it is we get to use our imagination if we havent seen the movie. i say keep doing it this way. its cool enough to hear your thoughts on stuff with out fancy schmancy editing.

When I saw the movie for the first time on dvd , I didn't know the second part was on the other side. So I ended up getting pissed that I had to buy the second part until I checked Amazon. That's were I also found out that it was an ABC tv special. Which was weird because I could of swoor that it was Marketed as a Rated R film. Oh well. :/

Spot, I don't mean to be critical, but saying he is a spider seems to be stearing it off a tad. YEAH he was, but also Keep in mind he his more "True form" was the deadlights, but yet the spider was his "Physical form"... But a remake? ehh mixed emotions, but I would like to see them attempt to try. Maybe even a "Following" sequal perphaps... maybe he didn't die... The Physical form did, but thats not saying about the Deadlights...
@snootch2nootch I dunno dude...personally I like the way TRS does movie reviews. He just chats about the movie and it all feels very unscripted. I like that. For example Geekvolution does these great movie reviews with pictures and everything but those reviews don't feel as personal and laid back. I'm glad we have all these different reviewers and that all of them are doing their own thing.
as a child this movie terrified me. a lot of the things that aren't explained in the movie are explained in the book actually IT isn't really a spider and has no true from in the book his true form isn't in this dimension if humans were to see it they would die instantly if you read the novel it will explain alot about the stuff in the film that had no explanation.
fun fact tim curry was supposed to be the joker in the batman the animated series instead of mark hamil. But kids were to afriad and they got mark instead
The book does explain a lot. I do remember that it gets a little weird when the kids are down the spider, but is otherwise a pretty solid book. I think that both the book and the movie would have been better if there would have been more focus on IT as the clown instead of giving IT other forms. I also remember the ending of the book as being a little different than the movie.
Actually in the book, the clown kills gay people too. Well I read part of IT in my summer, and one of his kills are gay =D It's actually more interesting than it is in this likely very mean way of me saying it= D I cut off reading IT after my summer, the book is really good though, I'll manage to go back and finish it.
