Since old times, locks, scissors, and knives are every home useable things. The hand-made these products are repaired by mechanic street to street in villages & urban localities. The time & technique changed hand-made products are costly than machines made products. The consumption of handmade products is gone down.
We met a 70 years old man in the posh areas of Ludhiana road plying on the cycle. On his cycle front side fitted a wood board and displayed some knives, locks, and scissors on it.

Glad to meet a hardworking and skilled man who is still carrying his traditional means of livelihood. I remember only the ones who used to sharpen knives and scissors. The ones who used to mend locks had a big bag of all kinds of keys to find one that fits the customer's lock.
