On the topic of being at the mall, I would rather be there with Maul than Grievous because the latter is batshit insane while I would personally enjoy debating philosophy with Maul while browsing the board game store.
I'd choose neither. I am a swordsman myself. And here is a trick: Grievous is mostly a machine. I can never believe he could beat a Jedi, but I am no Jedi and not even a Force User. As hard as fast as I can hit, he will hit harder and faster. I am fucked. Maul is (formerly) a Sith Lord with his skills still intact. So it's literally "pick your poison". And I choose a cup of tea.
Reasons making Rey a Skywalker was Disney’s worst storytelling decision: 1. All Skywalker Jedi must lose their right hand in their second film 2. All Skywalkers must dislike the desert planet they were raised on 3. All Skywalkers must have some semblance of training from a Jedi Master. 4. All Skywalkers must be good characters 5. Rise of Skywalker was about accepting who you are and striving to be more than your blood so by that logic, Rey should’ve said she’s Rey Palpatine, finally knowing her place in the galaxy and accepting that she’s more than her grandfather.
Not to disagree with this, but I think #2 was implied (could be wrong). Still don't know why she's living on Tatooine now. Maybe some subtle hint of a 4th Skywalker? Beats me.
If Luke was the only Jedi, he was a Jedi Master... same with Leia later. Personally, I think, in ascending order of coolness, she could have gone with Palpatine, Solo, Organa, or from Nowhere, all would have been cooler, but that's between her and Anakin and Luke's Force ghosts. And the music in the background was cool
Looking at Rey: She shouldn't have been learning the force, she should have been an older wiser character... She coulda been Ahsoka and the story would have made more sense. She learned the force faster than literal space Jesus, and space Jesus... She shoulda took on the Solo name. The solo family are the people she interacted with as family.
1:46 'I sense great fear in you Skywalker. You have hate...you have anger...but you don't u-GLARK!' 'You have done well, Anakin. He was too dangerous to beGLERRRGH!' 'Anakin, have you lost your mind? Why would you kill ChancellARRRRGH!' 'Well, this simplifies matters.'
Sequels created more plot holes than they filled. If Rey could heal Kylo from a lightsaber stab why couldn’t Obi Wan heal Qui Gon, why couldn’t Anakin heal Padme (when she never needed it if he never turned), why couldn’t Like heal Vader, why couldn’t Anakin or Mace heal the other Jedi in the Chancellors office. I could go on. Also how tf did she just learn how randomly, nobody ever taught her but she just knew
It may have been a forgotten technique, with the only record of it being "the sacred texts" of which we know Rey took one, so as far as anakin or Obi-Wan never using it it could simply be that they just strait up didn't know it. Also, there is a difference a gash & a stabwound and strait up being burned alive.
The Lighting and Fall from the building didn't kill Master Windu. It was the sudden stop at the bottom because Windu had one hand was alive after the electricity so he could have used the force survive the fall. "Change my mind"
@user-io7fp5jv5i imagine you just flying around then one of the strongest jedi ever falls from the chancellor office and splits on your speeder which then plummets because of it.
7:30, I blame Kotor 2 for my warped opinion on what can and can't kill a sith. That game had a character that was literally too angry to die as his body was being held together by his own darkside power. If this meme is is referencing Reva, she's not a very powerful Inquisitor. She isn't even a sith and her power level doesn't come close to actual sith so maybe that's the canon reason. Using the darkside to keep yourself alive is power that is really only attainable by extremely powerful force users or extremely devoted darkside users. It requires much more devotion to the darkside than simple darkside power usage and is part of the reason I believe Vader stayed devoted to Palpatine up until the last minute. It's also that you have to have a lot of fan support for the character in Maul's case. Especially since in EP. 1 it was established that a Torso stab will kill, RIP Qui Gon.

7:49 Allow me to change your mind, sir. As we see in the second season of The Bad Batch, clones were starting to question the Empire's actions. It was a matter of time before they realized the Empire is corrupt, which would make the imperial army fall to pieces from the inside. Even though there would be the clones who wiuld follow the Emperor without questioning, like Dogma followed Krell, the vast majority like Cody and Howzer would start a revolution or quit soon or later. That's why Palpatine switched to the Stormtroopers. Soldiers who volunteered to serve the Empire, henceforth, that believe the Empire is correct and are less likely to go against it. (Oh, but Palpatine could educate new clones to see the Empire as the good guys) Yes, that's correct. However, thus would take time because, to reeducate clones to that level, they have to be at a very young age. Until then, Palpatine would have no choice but to stick to the clones that were already part of his army, which was too big of a risk. And even if he manages to reeducate the young clones, the influence of all of their hundreds of millions older brothers would make the reeducation a lot harder if not almost impossible.
