  • When the weather is perfect, there’s nothing better than a nice run outdoors. But when it’s not so great, or when it’s downright miserable running weather, you have three options:
🚫Run in terrible and/or unsafe conditions anyway
🚫Skip your run and hide under the covers
👍Or, if you have access, hop on treadmill
✅But is treadmill running really the same as running outside?
✅Does running at 2% incline ion a treadmill better mimic running outside?
✅And why doesn’t the machine ever line up with your running watch?
On today’s video, I’m going to answer those questions with the latest research. I’ll also go over how to use the treadmill to get the best workout and I’ll even get into how to make the dreadmill a lot less dreadful.

I love running on a treadmill it’s a piece of equipment that has stood the test of time against so many fads that come and go. Treadmills you do speed work, tempo runs and lastly long runs no problem.
With consistency anyone can get in great shape using a treadmill.

I don’t actually love my treadmill but I don’t mind running on it either…… I watch Hulu while on it & the miles pass by quickly! 🏃‍♀️Thanks for the info!

Raising incline also helps to prevent hard landings on the heel

Thanks for the nice video, BUT I would really suggest that you reduce the "Like / Subscribe" click sound, since it's higher than the video sound where is feels very annoying for people using headphones therefore made me give you Dislike instead of Like! Sorry!, It's just an advice so we can enjoy your content better in the future ;)

Was trying to learn the benefits of using a treadmill, but finding out it was first designed as cruel and unusual punishment. 😮
