Leicester fan here.. fully deserved win today, well done and justice for John Eustace
Whatever the boss.. mismanagement at the executive level was the cause. I worry for next season if Sammie goes how many times are we going to pull the rabbit out of the hat with another 20+ goal a season striker? We sold our golden boy at a discount now we will sell Sammie for half of his potential value just to keep the gas on.
I’m a Birmingham fan I don’t enjoy going down, but fair play John Eustace he deserved to keep you up after the way our board treated him even if he is a villa fan, good luck for next season I think he will do a good job for you he’s a decent bloke.

When Birmingham scored in the second half I genuinely thought we were gone. I was just waiting for the inevitable Leicester goal. But those two goals from Sammie - unbelievable. The first was absolutely top class, the second absolutely iconic like you say. To celebrate like that in front of the Leicester fans before even getting into the penalty area - unforgettable. And really quite funny.
Think it's quite fitting that Birmingham and Huddersfield go down, given it was those two that shafted us back in 2017. The karma has been in the post for a while, but it got there in the end.

It's mad the team with the league's top scorer were still in the running to be relegated on the final day. As you said, it's not good enough. Szmodics will be off to Everton it looks like and I genuinely wish him all the best. He filled the Brereton-Diaz shaped hole and then some, so the question is now how much will we get for Sammie and will Eustace be able to bring in another goal machine for us next season. I'm torn on Eustace as he came into a club in freefall and had no ability to bring anyone in himself so willing to judge him after the summer window and where we are by Xmas, but as much as I appreciate him keeping us up he could have made it so much easier and secured our place in the Championship weeks ago.

I always try to be optimistic. Going into this game, I was 100% resigned we would be relegated. I thought there would be no way in hell I’d be watching your match reaction.
I am just so relieved, and glad this nightmare of a season is behind us. And glad after his two absolute fuckups in a recent game, that Pears made a fantastic save to tip one off the bar, which redeemed himself.
Biggest shock all season, wow as if we stayed up ❤
Glad its over, good luck to Sammy, if he gets his move to the prem. Looking at the players we are likely to lose this summer, i really do fear for next year.
