God bless GAMMA with Marc Bonilla for doing Ronnie so proud that night at Ronnie Fest-- A Concert For Ronnie Montrose. Dang, Marc was Ronnie's protege' and the only choice that night to fill in for Ronnie and Marc we'll talk about rising to the spirit of the occasion Ronnie was up there smiling the entire 6 song set! Davey Pattison sounded great, as did Denny Carmassi (in his 60's!), ditto Glenn Letsch on bass, and Tommy Suzeck on synthesizer. The looks they are giving each other and the smiles indicate they are on it in the moment and they know they're killing it.
Man, top notch👌 and pure goosebump alarm on old Rockers skin. Synthezised chorus blew me away. 1st. class Roller🤘🤘. Still have the record. Gladly saw em at least once at Sweden Rock. Gr8 legacy💪.
Hearing Gamma music bring 😢 to me. Ronnie sure loved great blue eyed soul singers like Davey and Sammy. Look how singers like Paul Rogers, Daryl Hall and Lou Gramm suceeded.
Marc Bonilla who lived on Ronnie's street...Ronnie heard him and financed Marc's demos. MARC has three records of his own + then also played for years with Keith Emerson Band and now is with ASIA for the 40th anniversary tour
