North/West Battery Park City Resiliency Project: Draft Environmental Impact Statement Public Hearing

Our North/West Battery Park City Resiliency Project's Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) Public Hearing on September 18, 2024 drew a combined approximately 80 online and in-person participants. As part of the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Act, BPCA has prepared a DEIS analyzing the potential environmental impacts of the proposed North/West Battery Park City Resiliency (NWBPCR). In compliance with the SEQR Act, BPCA has made the North/West Battery Park City Resiliency Project DEIS available for public review and comment. You can access all DEIS documentation here:
The September 18 hearing is part of the public comment period for the DEIS, which began on August 28, 2024, and ends on October 7 , 2024 (extended from September 28, 2024). This hearing does did include a question-and-answer session; questions received as part of testimony will be addressed in the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) later this year.
