I met him twice. He was cordial and interesting in spite of his tight touring schedule and the pressure of leading the band. Got a few photos together but I never pushed.
This has got to be a lip-synced version of a live version they did. You can just tell when a band isn’t actually performing and is putting an act on… 😂 That- and the absence of the Organ….
It's a lip sync of the UK released single version of Teacher - Teacher wasn't on the UK issue of Benefit and the version of it on the US issue is much heavier than this and has Ian playing flute as well.
❤🎶❤This is UK version, US version features flute! I think, my opinion only, the whole song with flute is a masterpiece! Love it!🎉🎉🎉One of the best all-round JT songs!!
Generational talent, unmatched lyrics, musical genius, i am fortunate to experience their amazing live shows
Never disappointed in concert
Seen these a few times,top notch👌🎤🎸
so raw but such precision. in other words. perfect.
BEST JETHRO TULL LINE UP AND BEST ALBUM "BENEFIT" FROM 1970
The trifecta-Stand Up, Benefit and Aqaulung!
Excellent band, excellent music. Such an amazing variety!
Long live Ian Anderson may he live forever
One of my favorites ✌️
great band❤
Put these guys in the hall of fame before I die
Wow. I'd not heard a version without flute before.
It's the UK version. The US version was the only version with the flute.
Their first four albums were very veery good especially "Stand Up" and "Benefit".
Ever heard of 'Thick as a Brick'?
I saw them at the Omni in Atlanta in 1974 or 75.
Great fkn song love Tull ❤
One of my preferite tracks😢❤❤❤
Una de mis canciones favoritas de ellos❤
Selten das ian anderson mit eine 🎸zu sehen im Fernsehen..ist..klasse
Its on my bucket list to meetIan Anderson 🇺🇲🏴🎸🎸

My mentor teachers were no deadweights, both won Nobel prizes.
the invisible keyboards by John Evans
Perfect
It is groovy, with a kind of Steppenwolf bass and Hammond organ, mid sixties feeling. It's still great without the flute!
Now that you remind me your Steppenwolf ear is spot on .THANK YOU
Is this before he learnt the flute - wow!
❤🥰❤This is the UK version, the US version has the flute in it, to each their own, but IMHO the flute in the US song is a banger, way better! 💕🎶💕
This song is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Love it❤
I was gonna say lipsync,,but looking further ,,I think not...it is real,,,the audio video is just weirded out somehow
my nickname at school was "Tully"adged 12. now 65
Balls 😎😎
Verry verry good souvenirs 😂
Is Ian wearing fashionably torn trousers?
I here an Organ, but don't see one in the video 🤔
John Evan did the orchestration, piano and organ on Benefit uncredited before he became a member of Tull.
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
❤
Awesome. However. Ian did not play that Gibson, this was miming. Good all the same.
great line up but who is playing keyboards?
John Evan, but he wasn't actually in the band then. They are miming.
Is not my "beach" but ok😐
Sound and video are not synchronised.
No organ player either...

I didn't get it
This is the first time I've seen Ian play electric guitar....it isn't a good look for him. It just doesn't fit.

Same here. I’ve never seen Ian with an electric guitar, and I thought I’d seen it all. It does look weird. I bet this is the only time…
Ian was just the worse mime ever!! Clearly didn`t give a.....one of the first recordings featuring John Evans on the mighty Hammond
wow.
the video is out of sync with the audio
