Caymanas SEZ is the most interesting project in Jamaica. China built a bunch of these zones and they grew to become some of the biggest and most impressive cities in the world. The next generation of Jamaicans are in for some exciting times
the government of Jamaica is wasting time and money that area right there should not be for warehouse it should be developed into a miny city 🏙️ with high rise building on both sides of the highway that's a prime area?
Jamaica doesn't have a big enough population to make highrise buildings in rural areas profitable or convenient who's gonna occupy them 50 professionals and a few returning residents
@@drivinginjamaica well maybe but if they wouldnt need more that 3 residential towers because the most people already own homes in gated communities in st catrine
The expansion of the road to six lanes from the Portmore turn-off to Twickenham park Is great news. I would want to see how they plan to put in two extra lanes under the exit ramp of highway 2000 at the Mandela exit. It is a pity that the six lanes could not end at Angel's. The present plan will however certainly ease the traffic congestion on Mandela highway. I hope this is done by the year 2099.

Taller buildings sound good. The area seems to be popular for warehouses
