The Krishna Janmasthan Temple Complex is a group of Hindu temples in Mallapura, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. These temples are built at the location where the Hindu deity Krishna is believed to be born, and is adjacent to the Eidgah mosque built by Aurangzeb.
The place has held religious significance since the 6th century. The temples were destroyed multiple times throughout history, most recently by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in 1670. He built the Eidgah mosque there which still stands. In 20th century, the new temple complex adjacent the mosque was built with the financial help from industrialists containing the Keshavdeva temple, the Garbha Griha temple at the birthplace and the Bhagavata Bhavan.
According to Hindu traditions, Krishna was born to Devaki and Vasudeva in a prison cell where they were confined by his maternal uncle Kansa, a king of Mathura, due to prophecy of his death by the child of Devaki. According to tradition, a temple dedicated to Krishna was built the birthplace by his great grandson Vajranabh. The present site known as Krishna Janmasthan (lit. 'birthplace of Krishna') was known as Katra (lit. 'market place') Keshavdeva. The archaeological excavations of the site had revealed pottery and terracotta from 6th century BC. It also produced some Jain sculptures as well as a large Buddhist complex including Yasha Vihara, a monastery, belonging to Gupta period (c. 400).The Vaishnava temple may have erected on the place as early as the first century. Some late 8th century inscriptions mentions donations to the site by the Rashtrakutas.
The Dwarkadhish temple, also known as the Jagat Mandir and occasionally spelled Dwarakadheesh, is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Krishna, who is worshiped here by the name Dwarkadhish, or 'King of Dwarka'

@@nikhilagarwal1751 Yes, Braj is the western part of Uttar Pradesh where Lord Krishna was born. It's the region where Brajbhasha is spoken. Brajbhasha is used in plenty of literature, Hindustani music and dohas as well. Cities like Mathura, Vrindavan are all in Braj
Central part of Uttar Pradesh is Awadh (derived from Ayodhya) where Awadhi is spoken and the home of Awadhis . Awadhi is the language of Tulsidas Ramayan, Chaupais, Hanuman chalisa and Hindustani classical music gharanas. Lord Ram was born in Awadh
Both Awadhi and Brajbhasha along with Khariboli have contributed to modern day Hindi.
Awadhi was once spoken in East UP too, still spoken in parts of East UP but due to mixed demographics and closeness to Bihar and Bhojpur region, it's now a predominantly Bhojpuri speaking region known as Purvanchal ( a modern day identity, not ancient like Awadh or Braj)

That during Ancient times Bhraj, Awadhi was the language spoken in the UP side and also understood that Braj covers the mathura and vridavan they are central part, it was a eye-opener that Hanuman chalisa is a awadhi language i used to think that they are sanskrit language

Most people associate UP with Bhojpuri when in fact it's an East Indian language born from Maithili. Maithil has also given birth to Assamese and Bengali. This makes Bhojpuri a sister language of Bengali and interestingly they do have 80 percent words in common

I have been to Vrindavan many times but to Mathura few occasions but never got chance to visit Dwarkadheesh mandir par aapne aaj itne sunder darshn karvaye or explanation ki liye tahe dil se Shukriya 🙏🙏. When I first saw the picture of Kanha ji in main Mathura mandir it looks so real & sweet which I can't explain in words and I hope aap dono ne bhi same feel kiya hoga.
