To be honest, as this is a case for a new edition of CS they should call it "Weapon Case 4" and use the black case model for it. It would be both very nostalgic as well as a tribute to the beginnings of CSGO
they seem bent on new beginnings while respecting what's left of the past. Hoping they make a creative example of this game's Future or it might just fade out the moment people see how terrible their battle passes are compared to not just their old operations, but other games.
If they were to do something like that I feel like it would be more fitting to re-use OG knife skins like fade, stained and allat, to keep it nostalgic.
My theory to why the skins are the same in the new case and revolution, is that the revoultion skins might be a placeholder for new skins, while valve is looking for new ones to put into the case

They could also use it to test their capabilities in how quickly and how well older skins work with the newer models. And on top of that, Valve can test the waters and see how the community would react to them making new CS2 versions of old CSGO skins, basically remasters of old skins.

It's way too much work and valve is a very lazy company lol. No, all skins in black cases was made by Valve themselves. All yellow cases have community made skins in it.
