- LOVE IS IN THE AIR ON DELOS! For those of who you saw it coming miles away like we did, it may not be a big surprise to you that Sean and Chia officially have something special between them!! A boat acts like a pressure cooker to a relationship, it truly heats things up REAL quick! As the new couple tries to play it cool, the crew has fun secretly filming their budding relationship. We also set sail from Bermuda to The Azores in this episode, have a block break on our downwind pole, and Ruben shares how crossing an ocean has already changed the way he wants to live his life! Much love, BB and crew!

This is our story, a story of four souls sailing around the world. It is a story about sailing and travel and adventure. But it's also a story about meeting amazing people and making life long friends. It's a story of people living their lives in an alternate way, in close connection with the beautiful people and amazing planet that we call home. Our experience has affected us so profoundly we want to share it, hoping that others may find inspiration to follow their dreams and do what they love.

It is really great to see Delos shrug off heavy weather like it is a built to take any condition the sea can throw at it. The captain and crew show complete confidence in Delos by the way they react to the changing weather conditions. No one freaks out. What a great yacht design Amel came up with when she was built.
"DELOS" (definitely experiencing love off shore). I do like the passage video's best. Love seeing life on the water. Sean and Chia holding hands asleep, Blue tucking Brady in, sweet.
really love how sean talks like a yacht racer, find he weather updates awesome
He certainly seems to know his way around a boat :)
Whatever y'all are picking up on, I'm missing completely. I haven't picked up on any beef whatsoever. Strange.
Sean is a pretty awesome sailor - his knowledge on how to read the weather as well as the sea is impressive. I bet you all learned a lot from him one this passage. Thanks for another great episode!
He’s totally Brady’s safety blanket
2 things must be said {& only @ 11.51} 1. Blue I love how you really are the "Boat Mom." 1st gentle passage motion, Blue checks down the crew -> all asleep. 2. Night watch sky shot with Ruben. . . I just love the night sky out on the open sea! SO stinking beautiful! Thanks!
Sean shows his true offshore knowledge again. Excellent crew...just exudes the right vibe for bluewater passage making to me. Calm, safe and clear-thinking. Knows his weather too. I would sleep well off-watch with him on deck.
I just love Blue, so chill and someone who enjoys everything life has to give.
And that voice..... Love the Blue voice.
James Bockenstette She’s a keeper!
Sean. What a fine sailor you are! The Cape story was rad. Being that close to catastrophe and loss. Woah. Plus it's clear you are in touch with nature. Very astute observations on the front passage. And you have skills. Chia is tuned in to the sea as well. Ruben settling in too and Brady and Blue are steady as always. Good episode. Go Delos crew.
Thanks guys for another great episode ! That boat really is a pressure cooker when it comes to budding relationships ! Captain, I really enjoy and learn from your in depth explanations. The why and when to leave port. Possibly taking a port tack in case the system gets ahead and why to do that. Good stuff brother ! Blue, was it your choice of music for the leaving Bermuda scene ? It feels like it was so I'm giving you the shout out : ) Ruben ! Great job opening up about the cruise changing your life plans ! You make the right choice !! All around another great video !! Thanks guys !!
I love how calm Brady is when the winds pick up.
He had a moment there near the end where he didn't look chill!
It never ceases to amaze me how the Standing Rig and the system in general holds up to the relentless pressure of the wind on these blue water boats. When you look at a sail boat under way, even in nominal wind, the pressure on the rig is amazing. In a gale, with little to no she is still taking a load. Watched Delos now for several years and now and I remember when you guys rebuilt the rigging...this stuff fascinates an old gearhead like me.
Brady you are a born captain. Not everyone is. You and your brother both have the gift.
Becoming a "Renaissance Man" is the best thing. The adventure too that goal is the best. They are the best type of people to be around. Keep it up Reuben.
A Delos update on past crew would be a fun few episodes
Ruben & Brady totally have it right about comparing the experiences of wind on land vs on the water. I think most sailors will take a moment to stop, even while on land, and appreciate the forces around them....but mostly appreciate that they're not out *in* it. 😉
I think that the ethos of SV Dellos, is truly amazing: a big influence on the new crew members so they really fit in, and taking nothing away from their own selves. Mr. (Now Cptn. Brady) and Blue, I am really enjoying you mates. Another beautiful episode. Sean, Chia and Ruben you are doing great and I certainly appreciate your contributions. Cheers pete
Sean clearly knows his sh*t and articulates it so well. Another great crew right there for captain Brady 👊🏻
'someone new taking care of Background Soundtrack Duty?
'keep them On Duty - excellent work
I'm guessing Ruben.
I really miss old delos.. With 7 crew in the Indian Ocean... I really miss jos and babs
I still don't know why Brady and Josje broke up! They were so cute together!
You guys make it look so easy. Beautiful people sharing a piece of this beautiful planet!
The more time I have to witness the Amel 53’s rig the more I appreciate it. Such an adaptable setup with so many options for both heavy and light air passages.
If it wasn't such a costly vessel it truly would be the best bluewater. Check out the Morgan out islands(I'm sure you already have). They don't have as well designed rigging but they are a great live aboard blue water vessel
To have a boat relationship fully SportsCenter documented from the perspective of Blue......................................................P R I C E L E S S. Three cheers to the love birds !
you guys always seem to put a smile on my face somhow, haven't watched in a while and what a shame it has been, depriving myself of the good vibes at sea. the new crew definitely grows on you too. Miss Breeyawn and Kazza in the vids, but look forward to seeing them again soon, and hope their own adventures are going smoothly too.
always wondered what happened to chia and sean after they left delos, and ruben too. this was definately one of my fav chapters of the delos story. such a special chemistry in this group
Oh yes I saw the look in both of their eyes when the first arrived on the boat. I just knew the were gonna become closer.
Kelly Ferguson But imagine what those dreads must be smelling like.
Jocelyn Wade lol butter face if you ask me. But I'm not very good looking either.
*oh yeah, Kelly got de connection on those ocean riddim **24:46*
What look
Well.. Blue gave em' the choice, set up conducive conditions... They took the bait!! Epic!!
The passage videos are my favorite. Underway is the only way!
Very interesting episode...nice crew aboard...i enjoyed the south African guy's narration best...he done it so right. The English guy seems ace to get along with...so human...the south American babe...she's lovely...and the two lovebirds...nice..wish it worked out for them eventually
Great episode and major props to the editors. Fun, exciting, heartwarming. And Reuben, he's a star.
Blue: "At least it's yours" cracked me up. So right.
After all these years Delos crew still keeps it real.
Love Love Love
Been watching for years...and although not a long termer...Blue is like the ship's mother....wise and consoling. Good job, guys.
Kazza is the real ship's mother on Delos, in my opinion. I think Blue is the dreamer...always talking about how she feels and more emotional stuff. She is solid crew though, don't get me wrong! Strong, capable woman.
Cool episode, they say life on a boat will make OR break a relationship.
welcome back to Green Island Delos; it’s time to kick back and relax and have some fun, you desire it after your Atlantic loop. Hope all are back aboard, looking forward to coming releases. S/V Shona
Documentary quality videos, keep getting better and better
Such stunning scenery. I enjoy this a lot. Reminds me of my trips where I take the good music like the Guns N Roses, Imagine Draongs or the Delta Parole and then enjoy the powerful feeling of the sea. ¡vamos!
Hormones on the high seas!!
mrabrasive51 you’re not paying her enough.
The rest of the crew noticed? How about all mega thousands of your viewers!! I think it is cute. I wish them the best.
right??
Ahhh, love. The true miracle of life. Let it shine
One of my favourite videos. Loved all the sailing talk. I felt like I was learning while I watched.
Precision sails have built you a beautiful set of sails = the yacht looks brilliant
Great pan of the dipper little brother. Second star to the right.
Great job Captain Brady! You kept your crew safe with your navigation skills!
Oh come on Blue, you had no idea an attraction would happen, When you invited Sean and Chai aboard? I'd say you nailed it, Ms Matchmaker.
yep, love is in the air
and is also an important human matter
Once a Week for about an hour I get hope.
congrats to the new loves and old loves! Boat life is wonderful, it strengthened our relationship and made us a real team. Wouldn't have it anyother way!
The description you’ll provided about Bermuda was correct. There is a since of genuine friendly people who live together in harmony. And they treat everyone with that same respect. Been there many times, but local laws prevent living there. Houses are outrageous and independent incomes must match.
Love the new sail
Tonight my wife and I decided to buy a boat and live on it in the harbor of a Great lake for the summer to start. We've been adventuring from the day we met and when I suggested the idea tonight her eyes lit up and she reminded me that when we met she was dreaming of hopping on a boat with a friend and going. Thanks for being an inspiration. Lots of love.
Great video. The imagery of watching the Dipper rotate through the night sky was intense. Love it.
I had found this channel a few yrs back and realize I was binge watching so I went to the start and started from the beginning and then couldnt wait till every Friday I actually stayed up Thursday into Friday waiting for it to pop up. I had to go away for 9 months and had to recap on everything I missed...guess what binge watching again..love this channel I wish I could do this someday.
it's a sweet ride this thing we call life
Thank you Delos crew for sharing your grand adventure with us. I love seeing the world vicariously through your eyes. Any updates on Brian and Kazza? Hope everything is going well for them.
I've been on and off with your channel. With the proliferation of sailing channels basically doing travelogues of the same destinations, I switched off all but SLV. But this long passage really gets me excited. This is a true sailing adventure. Safe passage.
Things that go bump in the night ! 🤗
2:12 Inspector Blue does not miss much. LOL
Binge watching the series a year later it seems strange that when this crew was introduced (Florida) Brady and Blue already suggested they (Sean and Chia) could share the front bunk if they wanted.
Seemed kinda out of place and suggestive at the time, but in hindsight it might be that there were already sparks back then and Brady and Blue picked up on that ?!
Not another #Poogate 2019 lol. Sidenote, Brady is overdue to get bit by some animal or fish, its really just a matter of time. Sound track was on point.
These are the best so far. I don’t know the music the editing the crew... just the best sailing vids out there
Brady your brother must be so happy that you are rising to the challenge as captain nice job everyone on board fair winds you lucky seadogs
The first couple of chords on the ukulele sounded like the beginning of the Bohemian Rhapsody, 🎼 and I was thinking, Rubes, you have more talent than you let on !!!
.
Fabulous 'Love Boat" episode and my hats off to Captain Brady for weather discernment and integration into the float plan !! ✨☀️✨🌊⚓️⛵️🏝✨💕✨
Beautiful shot of the Big Dip Dip Dip!!!
I ofund in my boat that surfing can feel nervous at the helm but it actually de-powers the rigging. Air power and water power are always a part of the plan
YES Captain Senior Brady! We are all ready to go! LOVE the passage videos!
Loving Brady’s weather information and knowledge as per usual! Great bloody sailing on this episode too!
Endless variety! That's what I like about Delos Fridays! Of course the weather and sea state are never exactly the same over the span of an ocean crossing. So, we watch and wonder, . . . What will happen next! The same is true with male female relations.
Being in the open ocean makes you realize just how small we are as humans and how powerful Mother Nature really truly is.
I would be willing to wager that when choosing your crew you were also playing cupid with your selections.. I saw it from day 1 with those 2. And I see Brady and Blu rubbing their hands together, looking at each other with a sheepish grin on their faces like their plan has been set in motion.. and mwahahahaha it's working!!
From time to time, there seems to be a 5th wheel on Delos..........this time its the Kid's turn to be the wheel.............
Gotta set him up with Lisa!
I haven't watched a Delos video in ages. Wow, is all I can say.
Cold and raining here in NW FL. Waking up to this video was AWESOME!!! Merry Christmas Gang.
This was a very enjoyable episode....thank you all !!!!!
I’m enjoying the greater focus on sailing this season! (I’m a few years behind)
Them two make a good couple
Amazing how different Blue looks with her darker eye brows. Very nice.
Another insightful episode from the Delos crew awesome
Another great video. Thanks for documenting your journey. I love the videos that really accentuate the nuances of sailing.
Nice exposé on the use of Predict Wind. Thanks for posting.
Hi Delos..have been binge-watching. Long time sailor. Does the personal dynamic change a lot going from 1 couple and 3 unattached crew......to now 2 couples and one unattached crew?
LOL if the boats a rocking, dont bother knocking..
GoneMudden 😂😂
Brian, is Brady the age you were when you first sailed for Mexico into the Pacific? I just saw the light turn on in Brady's eyes. He truly is seeing things through the captain's eyes.
I think I say this every episode. I love you guys. Hope it works out with Shawn and Chia.
Love every Delos episode!!! Keep on being yourselves!!! And to all the haters, I see you coming back and commenting so deep down your fans!!! ❤️⛵🌊❤️🤙🤙
Well Ruben start strumming that ukeleli for a mermaid, that's a long passage to the Azores!
Fun videos as always! Have fun at Lake Tahoe!!
Great video, I love the teamwork and positive mindset onboard.
Cute!
Good to have spares!
the adventure you live....
Have a plan but always be prepared to change it - Rubin
Anothet great video.Stay safe! Thanks for making my Friday better!😍
Bermuda is nice but I took it as sub tropical but we Liked it it was our first vacation. But We love ST. John U.S.V.I. it is so beautiful there people are so friendly I would like to go to bequia it reminds me of st john 20 years ago
love your channel SV DELOS It is better than any other channel me and the wife wanted to do what you guys are doing
keep up the video's love them all
another outstanding video. Romance in the air. Love it! Thanks guys.
Diverse skill set got me completely laughing, loving the vibe in this season :)
@10:50 I'm just working away at my desk at 1:19AM and was thinking a nice big mug of Cuppa Joe wouldn't go astray, and Blue was one step ahead of me! haha. Thanks for the confirm! haha. Kinda would rather be on a boat in all that amazing blue water, but watching someone else sail through it is the next best thing. Thanks for the chills! 🇧🇲😎
Aww cute. it's funny that even as adults we try to be sneaky with our budding romances and everyone knows. Literally everyone that saw my now fiance and I together three years agon they were giggle and saying we were falling in love. I denied! Yep, now planning a wedding...haha. Chia and Sean are so cute. Chia reminds me so much of my fiance's daughter they look like sisters so its even more adorable to me.
Plus an instructional video of sailing SV Delos with Captain Brady and Blue! Forget Mars folks. A new song.
You girls and guys are top ! Great reporting and humanity. Salam
That snap block has been dodgy for long while. You can see the crevice corrosion has turned the inside grey and the only thing holding on was that tiny edge. That is usually an indication of lack of articulation in the tackle, and a strong strain at some time has bent it past its limit. Maybe consider 2 swivel shackle below the block.
Blue being captain obvious as usual.. jeezus
Thank you Delos for my Friday fix looking forward to the next video and the new budding relationship
Great video! you guys really inspired me to start filming my sailing and upload my first video, thanks guys! great video as always.
