I wish pharmaceuticals companies/Dr. would understand thinning hair is not just cosmetic, it takes and incredible emotional/mental toll on us females. We need a permanent solution to female pattern baldness. 💔 Thank You Dr. Dray for understanding and educating us more.
I hear you girl and I wish that they would start their studies on women instead of men, after all oh, we are the ones who their children and endure all the pain so at least give us our hair! The guys can accept a little baldness can't they? Besides it makes them look cool and kind of handsome! :-)
Very true. I started loosing hair rapidly in October and til today it hasn't really improved. I've seen about 3 doctors who either told me it was normal due to stress, or that there was nothing I could do to prevent it. It's frustrating
Yup. All the men on my dad’s side went bald very early. For me, I am not sure I have female pattern hair loss...i have all over thinning that isn’t really that noticeable to other people, but I see it, and it’s pretty scary. And I find derms are very insensitive about it. All they do is suggest Rogaine. With one doctor, I had to beg for lab work. None I have seen will even consider any of the medications. But, if these medications, like finasteride, really work, then why are there still so many bald men around? Like Rogaine, they probably only work for a very small percentage.
Yes. It started for me when I was 18 and I’m the first in my family, male or female, to have it. There have been times when I’ve cried over my hair for hours. I feel disgusting and unfeminine.
If you do these things, it will help control hair fall, like it helped me. Keep your scalp fresh by cleansing it frequently. Use a gentle shampoo. Make certain to get adequate sleep every night. Wash your hair 2-3 times per week with liiitlleextra cocooinnion shampoo. Apply some oil to your scalp 2-3 times per week. After cleansing your hair, gently pat it dry with an soft towel.
My mom sees a change in her hair after using this Cocoonioon shampoo, and she experienced reduced hair fall. So, I would recommend it to my cousin as well, and she gave me similar feedback. Hence, I believe this shampoo is people experiencing a lot of hair fall.
Really really needed this🙌🏻🙌🏻 I have been on and out of doctors & dermatologists to figure out my hair loss issue for over a year now. Just literally got out of my last appointment 15 mins ago SO FRUSTERATED because the doctor told me everything was totally healthy and as long as I have a period each month nothing is wrong with my horomones to cause hair loss. Haven’t even watched the video yet but hope I get some questions answered.
@krista anderson how are you doing nowadays? How’s your hair coming along? Im so frustrated after seeing a derm dr for 6 months and haven’t seen results. In the meantime I am still losing my hair 😢
I hope you got sorted by now. If not, you can get at home testing kits. Check online and see if you can find a company in the country where you live. If you're in England superdrug does it. You can get your hormones checked etc and just hand the results to your doc. They can't argue with results. Although my doc refused to test me for thyroid funciton. Got an at home test myself and sent him the results and he struck me off his list of patients! Refused to give treatment.
Expectations are always difficult to come to terms with when suffering from hair loss. I am amazed that with literally over 80% of men and 40% of women experiencing this condition, combined with incredible technological advances in the world at large, we have still not yet conquered this problem. Frankly the accepted treatment options are cumbersome and not effective for all, particularly women! Seems like treatments for most are simply stop gap measures. As always your topics are of great interest, and this video was great! Thank you 😊
It’s so frustrating as a female sufferer, I’m 42. I have suffered from hair loss since my 20s in the way a man does! Thinning hairline, balding crown,. My standard hormone tests keep coming back normal apparently, Both my father and brother were bald before 30 so I assume this is most likely hereditary... As a female though, it’s devastating 😭
Hi. One of my friends struggle with the same thing. She eventually decided to shave off all her hair since it made her miserable. We bought some great wigs together. Like, two really expensive ones. And it is worth the money! She feels so much happier and can style her hair any way she wants to. It is hard, I've seen her struggle since I know her since we were kids. But now she accepted it, and adjusted her life style to it she's doing so much better! It's up to you what you do. But I just had to share this with you. It might help
My blood work always comes back normal. Stupid fucking doctors don't care, especially if you male. I wish I would go to the hospital, and walk in to their lab, and do all the blood work, and microscope work by myself.
youreallbrainwashed Ask them to test your DHEA and Fasting Insulin. Having high insulin triggers an increased in DHEA ->DHT -> hair loss. Metformin helps reduce Insulin blood levels.
Dr. Dray, You are highly intelligent and your level of education is impressive. I’m very glad you not only share your wealth with us, but manage to explain incredibly complex topics in a simple manner.
@Happy Nugget We know that we could trust it to do what it says, without perfumes and unnecessary ingredients. And developed by a real, trusted dermatologist would be a great selling point!
I'm 32, I started losing my hair in this manner, hair thinning and density loss on top of my head, when I hit puberty. Didn't have means to see dermatologist then and when I finally did I was told that unfortunately there was nothing wrong with me that he could fix, it was genetic and was sent on my way. It's been devastating. Thank you. I think I'm going to go see another dermatologist to see if there's something in the info provided here I can try.
karysmuh omggggg!!!!!! Same EXACT story! And I’m now 31. It’s been so frustrating. Every doctor is like, well, it’s genetic. I’m like ok.. but this shouldn’t have started at 12....
@@missauriella Sorry for your struggles. Although it is nice to know I'm not alone 12, 13 yo is crazy young to deal with thinning hair. It's sad and frustrating when friends 15-30 years older than me have to get their hair thinned pretty regularly when they get their hair trimmed.
Dr. Dray, You are the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to understanding the inner workings of our bodies. I thank you for your insightful and clearly delivered information. Thank you.
I’ve been dealing with hair loss since I was 13-14 due to severe anxiety. I’m 16 now. It scares me to see if it’ll worsen as I age. Hopefully I can fix it before then.
One thing you should really consider is seeing a dermatologist. Please don't wait any longer and make my mistake. It's amazing that we have doctor Dray to give us the best options possible that we can discuss with our dermatologist. So please work on seeing a derm! Best of luck 🙏🏻
My hypothyroidism causes me to shed hair constantly. It is all over my clothes, in my carpets, on my bare floors, in my hairbrush, in the shower. With as much hair as I shed daily, I am surprised that I am not bald yet.
but it's not a big deal? I started getting them since 19 and i just dye my hair since maybe 21 or 22, not like it's a big deal. became a part of routine.
Es3iya it’s become unhealthy when I need to do it every 1-2 months. I don’t think dyeing your hair that often is good for your health? It makes me feel self-conscious too as people would stare at my hair and be like “oh you have a lot of gray hair.”
I think it’s important to include that topical minoxidil only works for 30 to 40% of women and it can also be very damaging to the hair shafts. I don’t discount that it causes hair growth, but once the hair grows, it reeks havoc on the shafts due to the daily application of the topical which includes so many gasses and alcohols. You should see the before and after of me using it for two years. My hair is totally fried, broken, strawlike and damaged. 😩
The information you impart, especially the Q&A Fridays, are so educational and helpful even regarding issues and conditions I don't have. I almost feel like I qualify for college credit. 😄
Some doctors just don’t listen. My period has been irregular for about 2 years and every time I go to a doctor they do bloodwork and my progesterone always comes back low and they tell me no everything is fine. Now my hair is all gone to be honest and I have no doctor helping me with my progesterone levels. It’s so frustrating
I feel you, I have done so manu blood test and visit so many doctors, and they all just cant help, cant see and sai everything its ok... compare 10 years ago I already lost half of my hair and I have as much hair as 3 years old baby child... nothing left and im only 36 years old
Hair loss does have an emotional impact. My hair went from thick to slightly thinning. I still have plenty of hair, but nothing like three years ago. It seems my scalp was dry and itching some. I've recently started on fish oil for dry scalp and dry eye. We'll see how that goes. I don't see myself using women's Rogaine or other topical solutions for hair thinning.
Hi dr Dray! Very useful. In Belgium Finasteride is prescribed for women for hair loss of this type. However, dermatologists are reluctant to prescribe for more than 6 months due to this concern of breast cancer. I found that it is the only thing so far that really helps. Minoxidril is also helpful but a complete pain to comply.
I'm seeing an Endocrinologist now; on the 13th, I find out the results of my 9-tube bloodwork. He's pretty sure it's congenital adrenal hyperplasia--- not only do I have the male-pattern hair loss, I also have excessive facial hair growth, neck, chest and bikini-area..... Can't wait to get a solution!! I also have hypothyroidism, and was never able to maintain a pregnancy; 5 miscarriages.

I'm in my late 40s and my dematolgist put me on 100mg of Spironolactone for acne. I 've been on it for three years. I have to say it's been the best decision ever. Not only did my acne clear up but my hair falling out has reduced so much and I can tell a huge difference in the thickness of my hair now. I do have to have quartley bloodwork done to monitor my potassium but I have never had any of the side effects. Its been wonderful.
@@nadianasim9634 This comment is 3 years old but future readers should be aware that an initial shed is normal as new growth pushes out the old hair. Don't panic!
I was put on spironolactone for many months and it made absolutely no difference as the hair fell just as much so after 6+months we decided to stop it.
I've been on it for 6 months and surprisingly it has helped immensely. I do know a few women who tried collagen peptides powder and biotin tablets instead and that worked.

This is the information I would've needed 20 years ago. I've suffered from androgenetic alopecia since hitting puberty. Because I have naturally thin hair anyway, my hair has been a major source of insecurity for me since I was about 13 years old. Every dermatologist I saw over the years about my crappy hair has - without fail - dismissed it as "it's just your genes" (read: you were born this way, get over it). I didn't get told it was hormonal until six months ago. I'm now getting LLLT and am looking into spironolactone, professionally administered dermaneedling and maybe PRP, so I'm hopeful, and thankfully, I've been on minoxidil for a while (because it's OTC) and was on oral BC for a long time, so the hair loss hasn't progressed beyond the point of no return yet. But I could've been spared so much suffering if these resources were available when I first started seeing this.
This explains so much! I got a small bald spot during pregnancy and breastfeeding. But 6 months after weaning, it still hasn’t really recovered. Every new hairdresser points it out to me...
Thank you Dr. Dray. I'm on HRT & am 72 years old. I'm having female pattern baldness (genetic). I just wear a topper & try to manage it, Its not easy emotionally.
That would be great but being a small company I would imagine the charge for these products would have to be very high when there's so many excellent products that she's pointing out that are beneficial that's already in the stores like the CeraVe. It would be great though for those of us who could afford the products or even better if she could make them as affordable as items at Walmart and Target. I'd be buying from her all the time!
This video hits home for me big time! Had hair thinning from PCOS and then after bariatric surgery it got so much worse. It’s slowly regrowing but I know my hair will probably never be the same.
Thank you for all the time and effort you put into the information you share with your viewers. One other topic for consideration and discussion is frontal fibrosing alopecia. Another devastating diagnosis. Currently it seems little research is done on how it happens or treatment for prevention. Would love to hear your viewpoint/recommendations!!!
I’ve been diagnosed with this. It is difficult to find scientific literature discussing this. Equally frustrating is the current recommended treatment is a topical steroid cream and minoxidil. Also, possible steroid injections. All to prohibit hair loss. Once the follicles scar hair will not grow. I can not find anything to address the root cause and stop it from happening. So far I cannot find anything that will reverse it. Truly would love to hear anyone else’s input/findings.
As post menopausal and using hormone pellets I have experienced significant hair loss. The hormones have improved my quality of life yet I’m glad to know that there may be an option for my hair. As Always excellent quality information
Hi! Very informative video! It is a problem that seems very complex. Those suffering from it should be followed by a qualified doctor. We often see so-called miraculous solutions on social networks. What are called grandmother's remedies here in Quebec. No one should test these fake remedies that often amplify the problem. It must be very hard for a woman to accept. This situation should not be experienced in isolation. You have to get psychological help in addition to medical help. As you demonstrate, this is a problem that requires patience to see results. As always, you always give your 100% in the description of the problem! When you go to the clinic, the doctor doesn't always have time to explain in detail as you do. Thank you for being so generous with your time and expertise!
I took spironolactone 200mg for a few years. Worked at first, unfortunately, it did start to lose its effectiveness over the last year..i.e shedding increased again and I lost some of the gains. It also created some gastrointestinal discomfort for me, but that is not a normal side effect for most. I switched to Finasteride. Shedding like a MO FO right now, but that is to be expected. Wish me luck ( Female with AGA, 33 years old)
Thanks for the information . I'm Intersex and Transgender . Finding a combination that stops the hair loss is a challenge. I was of Finasteride,as well as Estradiol, for six months but I had really bad side effects So now I'm taking Spironolactone. Finasteride did stop loss by 90%. So far I'm just getting normal hair loss but my hair hasn't started it's growth phase .
How is the spironalactone working for you?? And why did u stop the Finasteride? I’m so confused on which one of all the options to go with!!! But i desperately want my hair to stop falling!
@@kccourt6910 After about 6 months of Finasteride I stopped because it was causing depression a few hours after talking it. About 6 months ago I added Spiro and a month later restarted Finasteride on a lower dosage ,was 2-3mg and now 1mg. I take it hours apart from my Progesterone and so far after 3 months no side effect and I'm getting new hair growth. The Spironolactone also dropped my blood pressure from 150/90 to 110/70 .. no more hypertension.
Great video thank you Dr. Dray! I’m a 42-year-old woman and have started losing my hair in the past three years and my doctor put me on the contraceptive pill but it made me extremely emotional so I came off the pill now she’s planning on putting me on some hormonal creams to balance my hormones. You did not mention anything about creams in this video what is your opinion on hormone creams?
Great video doctor. What do you make of the ladies that say the pill is evil and destroys health and also caused them to get AGA. Also I assume that adding in hormone therapy in peri and menopause can help by increasing estrogen levels? I am in a menopause facebook group and many ladies say that once they start HRT, it has helped there hair a lot.
In a prior video-vlog, she showed the biotin she takes. 1 10,000 mcg capsule. That is what I take, also. It has worked-- along with powdered hydrolyzed collagen, daily, for the past 3 months.
I tried Biotin at various dosages for years and it did nothing for my hair. If anyone wants to try it: it's a water-soluable vitamin so its not possible to "OD" on it (you pee out excess quantities your body doesn't use) BUT it has been said it can affect blood test results so you'd have to stop it a few days before a blood test.
I started shedding hair like crazy after I discovered a lump in my breast over a year ago (turned out benign 😅). I’m still shedding to this day. After I started taking collagen peptides in my coffee daily and a woman’s multivitamin (vitafusion) I’ve grown a lot of it back (along with longer, stronger nails). In your opinion is this just coincidental or could the peptides really be helping?
Fantastic video as always! Very helpful, dr Dray 🤗. I have a question. If you start a treatment with spironolactone, are you supposed to take it for the rest of your life, like Minoxidil? Or you should only take it for a period of time?
Thank you for being so thorough. We should always ask our PM Physicians before using new (over the counter) medications, particularly herbs. There could be adverse reactions to meds you take for other conditions.
I am much too talkative today, we're in the midst of a thunderstorm again with possible flooding.! Every physician I've seen in my area does not know anything about herbs and other supplements and are not willing to research it. I think since so many people want to do things naturally now that that should be a part of the curriculum in medical school.
Hi there!, may we call you Andrea Dr?, I 've noticed since the first time I watched one of your always amazing videos maybe two years ago or more the quality and quantity of your hair and your overall beauty has improved consistently and I was wondering if it has something to do with any of these hormonal treatments you just explained or if it's due to other reasons. What are you doing that you did not do before which makes you more beautiful every day? Please share with us what is the secret of your success and please never stop doing whatever you are doing because it definitely works. Big hug from Spain
Can you do video on hair loss after starting Birth Control? specifically Mirena? I've experienced significant hair loss and my derm doctor precribed spirno and finas, and minoxil, tretinoin, etc. I believe this is the trigger for all of the symptoms i'm experiencing (acne, hair loss).
Great channel, Dr. Dray! I just discovered you because I was looking for dry skin relief suggestions related specifically to post chemo/radiation treatment. I haven’t seen anything addressing skin care for cancer patients. Maybe this is something to consider. I know I’d appreciate :0). Thanks so much!
Discovered your videos about 2 weeks ago and I've already binged watched soo many of your videos! I'm hooked! Love, love, love them all! I love how you suggest products and talk about the ingredients and the benefits of each ingredient. Keep sharing! Also can you review the facial vacuum?
After I had baby a year later I lost all my beautiful long blonde locks. Had to cut it off bc the extreme thinning and bold spots. After 3 years now, it's got better and thicker. I used rogaine for a while and it did help but isnt a long term solution. I was also extremely depleted in iron and that has helped too eating more iron rich foods.
The impression I have is that there isn't any treatment but shave our hair once and for all. I lost around 60% of my hair and it is still falling. Everything has bad side effects or destroy the hair in the case of monixidil (dry).
I shaved my hair off and I wore a hair up until 6 months and my head was pretty full but soon after a month of exposing my hair it started shedding heavily 😢 It’s about to be a year in April and yeah like 60 percent of hair is gone now it’s so sad and even more noticeable since it short and I can’t really put it up or do anything with it. It’s embarrassing i hate dealing with this
Crazy you brought this up every few months I lose a bunch of hair more than normal, not in clumps but more than my normal. I also believe I have some kind hormonal imbalance, I also have bad acne face back chest, dark facial hair on chin, neck, naval area.
Cyproterone Acetate (Androcur) was the anti androgen I started off with. I didn't take it for hair loss though, it was for feminizing therapy, but I did have the hair at the back of my head grow back in. Started Minoxidil just recently to address the hairline loss up front. Cypro is a very powerful anti androgen.
New subscriber here and can’t stop binge watching all of your content. Very informative!!! Wondering what your thoughts are on the Just Nutritive products????
Hello Dr Dray. I found your RUclips channel about a month ago and have been binging on you ever since. I live in Northern Ireland so unfortunately it is very difficult to buy many of the products you recommend over the counter. Boots sell a very limited amount of Cerave as does my local Chemist. I have bought some Vanicream from Amazon but it is quite expensive to import. However, after many hours of listening to you I am determined to follow all of your advice. I am delighted to have found you and wanted to take this opportunity to thank you very much for imparting all your knowledge and advice. 😊
Very informative. Thank you Dr. Dray. Which doctors do we start with to get prescriptions for these though? Is it the gynecologist, a dermatologist, family doctor? I don’t know where to start.
From what I understand when getting older the hair follicle hole gets bigger letting the actual hair fall out. So if you are bald or balding know your not the only one and I can not take birth control pills for estrogen either. So a long term treatment that works would be great know you are beautiful even with baldness. I do not want to wear a wig every day specifically since temps been really high on hot days.
It is my worst nightmare. My primary doctor has been systematically destroying my skin and hair since I was diagnosed with Horners syndrome. They put me on steroids, double dose two times. Then I was denied any birth control pills that I've been using since I was 15 to regulate my periods and keep my severe cystic acne under control. Now I have been struggling with my acne, stress, and anxiety because everything seems to be falling apart. I have expressed my concern about preventing any more problems because it's extremely depressing and limiting to my life. Now my hair is falling out and I'm so scared that I'm going to go bald before 50. I am 43 and if things don't improve I don't even want to live anymore. Life with my doctor's has been awful and they haven't done anything to help me. They've just made it harder and more difficult. Things that I have had under control are now completely screwed up.
Can you or have you already discussed hair growth? Like how to grow hair, and what prodcuts to use not just for hair growth but scalp health and maybe how to control dry scalp and dandruff? Love this video by the way, watched it to help my mother.
I’ve experienced hair thinning from too much testosterone in my bio identical hormone pellet therapy. Even with lowering the dosage, I’m still having some hair loss. Dr. Dray,
You are highly intelligent and your level of education is impressive. I’m very glad you not only share your wealth with us, but manage to explain incredibly complex topics in a simple manner.
I feel like if you made your own skincare line you'd be sky rocketing the market
@Happy Nugget
We know that we could trust it to do what it says, without perfumes and unnecessary ingredients.
Omg same! And now I’m 23! It literally started when I hit puberty....
Same man it’s so hard
I’m only 17 and I feel like it’s getting worse… I wish I had taken care of it beforehand
My hypothyroidism causes me to shed hair constantly. It is all over my clothes, in my carpets, on my bare floors, in my hairbrush, in the shower. With as much hair as I shed daily, I am surprised that I am not bald yet.
Dr Dray please make a video on early gray hair! I’m only 21 and have been struggling with early gray hair since I was 15!
Yes! Please!
Omg me too! 😫
Me too! Bet it's mostly genetics 😭
but it's not a big deal? I started getting them since 19 and i just dye my hair since maybe 21 or 22, not like it's a big deal. became a part of routine.
Es3iya it’s become unhealthy when I need to do it every 1-2 months. I don’t think dyeing your hair that often is good for your health? It makes me feel self-conscious too as people would stare at my hair and be like “oh you have a lot of gray hair.”
Hope you can do a video in the future on bioidentical hormones or HRT and anti ageing of the skin.
My hair looks horrible and it made me lose a lot of my bang area. I’m also scared to stop it tho. Have you stopped it?
The information you impart, especially the Q&A Fridays, are so educational and helpful even regarding issues and conditions I don't have. I almost feel like I qualify for college credit. 😄
Thank you for this information & for giving specifics for pre & post menopausal women as things are different for us (sadly).
Did it help pls ?
I’ve been diagnosed with that but it’s late on-set, though I suspect it’s a misdiagnosis
But isnt the main question "what is causing the increased androgens? and making androgen receptors sensitive?"
Insulin, stress

I'm in my late 40s and my dematolgist put me on 100mg of Spironolactone for acne. I 've been on it for three years. I have to say it's been the best decision ever. Not only did my acne clear up but my hair falling out has reduced so much and I can tell a huge difference in the thickness of my hair now. I do have to have quartley bloodwork done to monitor my potassium but I have never had any of the side effects. Its been wonderful.
RockFabulous40s I’m starting it soon! I’ve been losing hair since I was 18. I hope it finally ends this nightmare.
Unfortunately I started it 6 days ago and it's caused a massive shed.
@@nadianasim9634 This comment is 3 years old but future readers should be aware that an initial shed is normal as new growth pushes out the old hair. Don't panic!
Thank you for being a smart, modern, & beautiful dermatologist ❤️
I was put on spironolactone for many months and it made absolutely no difference as the hair fell just as much so after 6+months we decided to stop it.
Same
It made my hair loss exponentially worse

Hello .How is your hair now?How many years did you use minoxidil
Hey!Any progress?
Very excited about this topic ❤️ Thank you for always being thorough!
Happy Friday!
thank you Dr Dray, you are so right hair thinning/loss is devastating it is great that you explain treatment options available that may help.
damn it right after i buy those hair skin and nail gummies
Please can you tell me where she talks about the hair, skin, and nail gummies?? Or what did she say about it?
This explains so much! I got a small bald spot during pregnancy and breastfeeding. But 6 months after weaning, it still hasn’t really recovered. Every new hairdresser points it out to me...
Thank you Dr. Dray. I'm on HRT & am 72 years old. I'm having female pattern baldness (genetic). I just wear a topper & try to manage it, Its not easy emotionally.
You have the most educational and helpful channel on RUclips Dr Dray. Thank you.
I still hope for a skincare line from dr. Dray
Keara Bahm That would be awesome !!!!
Thank you for taking your time in helping us.
This video hits home for me big time! Had hair thinning from PCOS and then after bariatric surgery it got so much worse. It’s slowly regrowing but I know my hair will probably never be the same.
This is very interesting! Thank you Dr. Dray for sharing your knowledge...🌷🌸💕🌸🌷
Wow I've never heard of that one before. Would be interesting to learn something about it.
Wish me luck ( Female with AGA, 33 years old)
Thank you this is so helpful. I'd like to know what are your thoughts on PRP for fphl ? Does it help?
What're your thoughts on using aloe Vera gel on the skin and face?
Good, I also use aloe, just saying
It's da bomb
Thanks for the information . I'm Intersex and Transgender . Finding a combination that stops the hair loss is a challenge.
I was of Finasteride,as well as Estradiol, for six months but I had really bad side effects
So now I'm taking Spironolactone.
@@kccourt6910
After about 6 months of Finasteride I stopped because it was causing depression a few hours after talking it.

Dr. Dray Thank you again for this amazing advice. Keep up great work 😊
Thank you so much for discussing the various medications. I am planning to see my dermatologist to discuss starting spironolactone.
Thank you Dr Dray! Any thoughts on Frownies, Facial Patches to soften + smooth wrinkles and deep expression lines? Would love you to review that.
@Fernanda G I’ve used the Frownies, and it seems that the effect is very short lived, less than hours long. :-/
Sam as always says Hi! Don't mind us. Another day with Dr. Dray! Happy Friday!!😊❤️
HI Sam!
I tried rogaine but it made my heart race.
Great topic today!
Hope anyone who's suffering from this condition,go to their doctor and find help.
Happy Friday almost the weekend 🙂🍁
Happy Friday
Maybe I missed this, but what are your thoughts on Biotin and what doses do you recommend?
In a prior video-vlog, she showed the biotin she takes. 1 10,000 mcg capsule.
That is what I take, also. It has worked-- along with powdered hydrolyzed collagen, daily, for the past 3 months.
I tried biotin and all it did was make my hair and nails grow long faster. It did not make my hair thicker.
Dr. Dray. what do you think about Spearmint supplements being an androgen blocker like Spiro? Is spearmint safe to take i.e. 400 mg capsules?
Fantastic video as always! Very helpful, dr Dray 🤗. I have a question. If you start a treatment with spironolactone, are you supposed to take it for the rest of your life, like Minoxidil? Or you should only take it for a period of time?
It is usually the same as minoxidil. It’s for life.

Thank you. I am dealing with this for the last few years- 2017. This was helpful. Also you have great bone structure.

Hi Dr Dray, please also review Murad skincare!
Thank you for presentation. What about Saw Palmetto?
Dr. Dray, have you talked about Anthralin for hair loss, alone or with minoxidil? Thanks again for today’s video! 💐
Dr Dray, please review Kora Organics =)❤️! Love your videos btw, they’ve really helped me to be more conscious about what I’m putting on my face.
Dr. Dray, do you have any thoughts on laser hair regrowth therapy?
The impression I have is that there isn't any treatment but shave our hair once and for all. I lost around 60% of my hair and it is still falling. Everything has bad side effects or destroy the hair in the case of monixidil (dry).
I’m scared 😞
Hi doc! Great video!
Please suggest what treatment I should take for my pcos hair loss?
Is dutasteride safe?
Hi doc! Great video
