Oh yes. I find that slight accents also trigger me so i do have a french lady and an irish lady i watch when i become too desensitized to one particular. Maria is my favorite though!

It’s such a silly thing to be proud of but I love being within the first few hundred people that watch, like, etc. I always eagerly anticipate Maria’s videos. She was my introduction to the ASMRtists I still watch today and she will always be THE QUEEN of them all. Latte, TingTing, Zeitgeist, GoodnightMoon, etc. all have their own unique styles and ways of being brilliant, but Maria will always be the one that I come back to when nothing else works. It’s like having a friend who’s always available and ready to help with whatever you need to help you sleep. Now, you’re helping me get through a hospital stay while I have covid pneumonia, while 29 weeks pregnant. There’s no telling how long I’ll be here but having your videos has been comforting. Why do people always comment on female ASMRtists’ appearance? Like without fail. I get wanting to give a compliment, but why compliment her looks over say...her voice or her set up or her video idea? It’s just not something that’s done to the male ASMRtists. I know why that is, but I’d like someone who does it to verbalize why they feel it’s necessary to comment on her appearance every single video. Why is her appearance so valuable to you? Why is that your focus? And then Maria and others will apologize for lack of makeup, or will not show their face when they don’t put makeup on or when they’re not feeling good about themselves, and I’m certain it’s related.

I have been going through alot lately, and night time is the time where i tend to overwhelm myself with all my daily issues while laying there in the dark with only ONE job to do, sleep. I have been watching ASMR for about a year now. I stumbled upon your page a couple months ago & i couldnt be more grateful to have done so. WOAH! Crazy! I never even thought about this maybe being a possible trigger...? Did the air blower remind anyone else of the low rumblings of an engine? I grew up in one of those blue collar homes, where the dad’s are always working on an old car or motorcycle in the driveway. There was almost always some kind of vehicle rumbling in the background. When she started up that little blower... I was immediately transported back to my bedroom, early in the morning, peaking out my window and seeing my dad tinkering with his newest project.❤️

WOAH! Crazy! I never even thought about this maybe being a possible trigger...? Did the air blower remind anyone else of the low rumblings of an engine? I grew up in one of those blue collar homes, where the dad’s are always working on an old car or motorcycle in the driveway. There was almost always some kind of vehicle rumbling in the background. When she started up that little blower... I was immediately transported back to my bedroom, early in the morning, peaking out my window and seeing my dad tinkering with his newest project.❤️
