Except that if this were a real scenario, and the phones were on a beach on a hot day, the Pixel would overheat and not even be able to record a video, let alone share its battery wirelessly. LOL. Tensor g/G2 overheating is a serious issue that Google needs to address with the Pixel 8/Pro.
@brojock I agree to a point. I’ve had Samsungs. Honestly, Samsung's software feels rather sloppy or hastily put together. It lacks the polish and attention to detail that I would expect from a phone that costs $1200. I like pixel’s because they are simple and well rounded. They do have their bugs but I’d much rather the build quality from a Pixel than the plastic Motorola that only gets 1 years worth of updates. And bless Samsung for trying but when I get a new phone I don’t want meaningless apps like their galaxy store, browser etc. taking up space. The Pixel is very much a practical phone to get for the average Joe. Great telephoto and features that make the s23 ultra have to shout about the only redeemable quality of its 200 megapixel camera and 100x telephoto. And I’ve tested them the 200 megapixels are hardly noticeable and no one but stalkers and people who like fake moon pics would think of buying it.

When you criticize another company's product in a video instead of talking about yourself. it shows your weakness and desperation. none of these "advantages" of a pixel are of any importance, and no one will buy a pixel instead of an iPhone.

But recently I wanted to try something quite different from Android, plus I have a MacBook, so an iPhone will definitely work out better with it
So yeah, been about a week since I got an iPhone, and I’m actually quite happy with it so far, and it works very seamlessly with my MacBook.
Not really sure if I might go back to Android one day or try Pixel phones, but I’m kind of a tech enjoyer in general and I like to try out new phones and stuff so I don’t really see why not lol. I’m not really biased to any company, I just like tech products in general :)

From this platform, I want to extend my sincere thanks to Google, especially to the Pixel team, for all the efforts they make to manufacture these devices, which saved a lot of me and my time and made life easier for me.
Since 2018, I have not acquired a device other than Google devices.
I am a big fan. Keep progressing in my opinion you always the original and the rest is imitation.
Such a deep message at the end with her there for her. If anyone is going through similar things please call Samaritans or NHS UK. There is always someone to listen to and help.
To be fair, other phones like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and P30 Pro or Samsung S10 had this "reverse wireless charging" feature years ago. It's not revolutionary that the Pixel has it, but it's a bummer that iPhone is still lacking it. On the other hand, it's honestly mostly a "cool to have, but rarely needed" feature for most people.
And it’s incredibly slow but can be a life saver, I suppose

Dyam these commercials are so unique. Kudos to the team! I have been keeping my eye on the pixel for a while now (planning to buy a new phone) however I have heard from friends it has some hardware issues in regards to phone automatically getting shut. Is it so?
Never had this happening. But when there is a hardware defect, get in contact with the Google support.
They nailed the Bluetooth connection voice. Every time I plug in my headphones I think of this ad. I can’t stop talking like it.

True because each brand has it's own character. But I'm sure this won't happen, since the iPhone is the only smartphone that doesn't has USB-C.
@@pixelfan2261 honestly just for fun they can make it work. Just with the fact that each cell phone brand would have its own personality. But it probably wouldn't last too long without somebody getting sued or taken to court for making one brand look below the other and sales fall

@@pixelfan2261 First of all, in the video their iPhone is covered in an ugly case, while the Pixel has no case. Secondly the Pixels have a really poor track record in regards to build quality, privacy, service and software updates compared to iPhones, but they don’t mention that in any of the video’s. Thirdly the voices iOS offers are not super, but also not nearly as bad as portrayed in the video. And of course, the main deceptive story about battery life is just silly. Yes, iPhone have smaller batteries because iOS is more efficient, and to create room for bigger (but way more secure) bio-metric sensors. But they still offer a full day of use.

I hope Google will fix their warranty and will make more repairable phones some day. Not repairing phones under warranty when the camera glass shattered out of nowhere is a shame. A manufacturer should always stand behind their own products and solve problems to keep customers happy.

I seriously took the watch all the google and apple phone videos. These are amazing fun to watch, I may not have an apple phone or have the money to buy a pixel. But these ads makes me wish i had a pixel cause this marketing was clever and good.

I agree, Magic Eraser, Google VPN and Battery share are pretty cool features, BUT! I use both Google and Apple devices and while the videos are very good I've found some Google apps work better on iOS and are glitchy on a Pixel. While Face unlock is seamless on my 13 Pro whether in daylight or a dark room, face unlock on a Pixel only works in a lighted area. Not sure why Android phones require so much touching like under screen biometrics but being able to Face Unlock and add that feature to all apps in iOS is my game changer. My wife removed all her security from her 7 since the in screen biometric is pretty FUBAR and that goes for my 6A. Never had any issues with the fingerprint scanners on the 3XL, 4A, 5, Sammy S9, Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, Sammy S5 but oh wait those are all actual sensors that worked so well. I admit that Google Ai has been excellent compared to Siri and then there are cameras which is nice but not the primary reason for purchase. Lastly concerning this set of Apple and Android BFF, when Google starts to back their product with 5 + years of updates and not just on a monthly basis. When Google backs there products with well trained and certified technicians in stores across the country and big box stores like Apple does, and specifically has an online technical course for certification of software and hardware then, that's when Google products can outshine Apple products. Apple products may be a tad more expensive but that's because as they say "you get what you pay for". Buying an iPhone these days is really the best financial decision since your pretty much guaranteed that it will last and if it breaks then Apple will fix it or one of their Geeks around the country are certified to fix various hardware for you or mail it to Cuppertino. Strange how that goes for their wearables, Macs, AirPods and iPads. No other manufacturer stands behind their product like Apple does. What really divides the difference for me between Apple and Google is I can choose different volumes for different features with Android. I can dismiss an alarm before it goes off in the morning when I wake from my Garmin or G-Shock alarm vibration and the alarm is still set for the next day. I've turned off the alarm on a iPhone because you can't dismiss it and forgot to turn it on for the next morning, good thing I wear a vibrating watch to bed. Don't get me started about the iWatch! Sure you can talk to it but the battery life is abysmal! For Gods sake I have to charge my phone every day, now you want me to charge the watch to?
There's opinions and reasons to own either and ultimately you cannot go wrong with either but we're an intelligent species who likes to throw away hard earned money for our whims. What you choose makes no difference to me but I choose not to purchase products designed to significantly depreciate in resale value so quickly, choose not to fall victim to discounts after launch since, "you get what you pay for" in a device which ultimately is a purchase not worth keeping for more then 2-3 years rather it stops receiving OS updates, can't be repaired or receive security updates. Suppose intelligent could be a loose translation since so many things in our lives take on a not so serious decision process.
Google doesn't offer repair services for broken GWatch front glas.
How am I emotionally invested in two phones and their friendship.

This is Fantastic!! I cannot wait for Apple to see the videos and comment. No worries though, keeping up with tradition Tim Cook will call a new battery sharing feature revolutionary on the iPhone 16 PRO Max while back at the lab, Google will chuckle and say, "New feature my ace, we've had that for ages". People will then flock to the Google, and Apple will come out with new stickers for their AR headset.. Gotta love the friendly competition, it's great for the consumer and the drive for innovation.
