I can see the new character being an N7 AI and personally if they did another “clone” Shepard it’ll be cop out.
I'd actually sell all my consoles and quit gaming if the writing got that bad in video games that it had been reduced to magic clones. It's as bad as "it was all a dream"

If Aria was let into the N7 program (not human), abandoned her life on Omega (literal queen of the mob), and somehow managed to fit her head into this helmet (ouch), then the next game will officially be confirmed as taking place in an AU. And I wouldn't want to play it lmaooo
Legit though, the N7 does have sass. I'm pretty sure Aria has nodded exactly like this at some point.

Established characters becoming the main is highly unlikely, especially if a game focused on a paragon/renegade moral choice format. You can't have Aria all of sudden being Paragon or Liara becoming a Renegade, it would ruin their character image that took three whole games to build.
If it's their offspring it would be more believable.

If it is a type of synthetic infiltrator unit, I would imagine the Systems Alliance took that Tech from the Cerberus Base During or after Priority: Cerberus HQ. I can't see Admiral Hacket not sending an infiltration team on board after Shepard to gather as much intel as possible or even after the battle because we don't actually see the Cerberus base get blown up.
I just had a terrifying thought. Wouldn't it have been scary if that was a new type of Reaper unit. Reaper version of a T-1000 Termintor unit.
Dang if this was a new Reaper unit, the Systems Alliance is beyond screwed. I don't think it is though...unless... 😁
We know EDI is or Previously Dr Eva. was an infiltration model robot. Cerberus would have all that information on the one data bank in the only base where the Illusive man had easy access to review it. Systems Alliance N7 Infiltration robot or an upgraded version of a Geth.@@paragonseven
My theory is that the Alliance and the Quarians are natural alles, so that will most likely tie into the AI / Geth story.
I kind of hate the thought of the player being an AI... I liked the games mostly for the fact that they always have a human as the character race. If the machine is a main then yeah, but not player.

I've noticed the helmet in the trailer is slightly different than the one in the poster. Look again.
N7 AI:

So I’ve been spending too much time looking at this N7 image and if you look real close at the wedges in the helmet you can see side panels within there that increase the breathable area for a supposed head, and with the curvature of the helmet the really pinched in part of the wedge as you’ve drawn it should in theory be in front of the face.
Keeping the dimensions as generous as possible I actually can line up a human to fit inside of it but it’s still a pretty tight squeeze. The only model I was able to fit in a way that looked right was a bald femshep from the me1 character creator and it looked *alright* but the main issue was the eyes not lining up with the part of the helmet I interpret as the eye holes.
I’m still quite partial to this character being some kind of AI platform but I’ve been forced to admit the helmet wedges aren’t quite the smoking gun I had thought.
Either way, fun stream! Glad to have a space to get wild with overanalysis of this thing we all enjoy!
If the wedges don't limit the head size, obviously humans are back in the discussion for who this could be. But I agree, the eye slits have never matched up for human proportions, or at least Shepard's and Conrad's don't from what I've seen.

I also can imagine that they are inspired by Ghost of the Shell and Shepard’s mind etc. was uploaded into a network and now we is kind of an AI and here we can see the platform with its interacting with the world.
My first instinct was AI just because it was so slender. Maybe it is the lovechild of Jack and Edi. Even if is human I don’t think it has enough bulk for either the male or female Shepard. It didn’t have a military bearing to me. It could just be some much sleeker armour tech they are trying though.

Could it be a Quarian/human? There is a name of that mix in the 2022 teaser.
The helmet might fit tighter around the head once put on?
The quarians have only 3 fingers and (unless the anatomy of them as changed), they usually have a bend in their legs similar to the angara. This N7 has 5 fingers and no bendy legs.
And, unless I'm just seeing the gaps in the helmet reallly wrong, I can't see this N7 as being human, even if the helmet conforms to the head once put on. The helmet is the one thing driving me insane rn. It just doesn't make sense...
@paragon7ME but if its human/quarian mix (child of a human and quarian) maybe they have more human like anatomy? The helmet is frustrating, especially as it's different in the two reveals.

But yes, this tease out of everything has caused the most zooming in and multiple head scratches!
I need to watch that trailer again. I never noticed the huge gaps on each side of the helmet. I have may have just stepped onto the Mass Effect theory train. 😂

Maybe the new n7 is ai Shepard from the control, synthesis endings. While perfect destroy could be the same new armor but with the classic n7 helmet ? ( Or just the full classic armor set )
they dont show shepard's head at the end of me3, possibly because it was so damaged. this could be shepard with implants, new head, etc. basically hes/shes a cyborg now
If you watch how the figure walks he/she has a limp. The left foot drags a little. I think it is Shepard.

Shepard gets lost in another galaxy and get saved by the geth. Or another species that the geth discovered. From there he lives years in a unfamiliar world and has the chance to send a distress signal due to discovering more information about what happened after his main decision with the crucible. Liars receives the lost transmission,signal,sign because only she understands Shepard and goes to search for the discovery or find out what the clue may mean due to how vague it is. Idk I’m just throwing this out there
Hi, I love your videos. Quick thing, the character is looking a bit downward (like Shepard is in some of the promotional art work), which throws off the apparent proportions of the helmet. If you correct for that a human head could fit in the helmet.
Makes sense, and others have pointed this out as well. I personally think there's more to it than the angle (the eye spacing makes no sense, Gamble's tweet on 'what's a person', the lack of breathing by the N7 in the teaser), but it's up in the air at this point.

Has Gamble said if anybody has found all the clues from n7 day? I think I see Shepard in the 4k wallpaper they dropped last. If you look right underneath the guy walking towards the table Liara is at (the light blue color by his feet specifically), you can see a reflection of somebody (looks like the back of fem-shep's head) staring into the distance. Rotate the wallpaper (upside down) and give it a look. That reflection shouldn't be there as it's the back of a head, and it looks like somebody is leaning up against her.
Dang!! Just saw it myself. I don't know for certain if it is FemShep but it does look very strange...I'm seeing a turian-looking armour set more than anything. 🤔
@paragon7ME I thought it was worth mentioning lol it looks out of place as I don't see anybody standing in that general region that would cast that specific reflection. I see two people standing there, and it looks like they are staring at a city. It's very hard to make it out, I'm just glad you see what I'm talking about 😂
Actually, after doing some measuring and comparing it to the Phantoms and Nemesis, you can fit a cerberus nemesis inside that helmet… just saying..

How about this...the Alliance surgically inserted the human anatomical parts inside the helmet which is not a helmet but actually a cyborg...aka organic helmet. You don't always see the chest rising and falling with breathing.
could the potential rogue N7 Ai be an evolved version of the faulty Shepard Vi? Or is an evil Shepard to much of the citadel dlc all over again?
I believe (could be completely wrong though), that VI's are limited to only holographic bodies (Avina, Mira on Peak 15 in ME1, Glyph in ME2, Shepard VI in ME3). So unless something has changed in the way VI's are presented, I'd say this isn't a VI.
And because of the evil clone Shepard in the Citadel DLC, I'd say this isn't evil Shepard because it wouldn't be a "new" enough antagonist for a very anticipated game.

Most of Shepards body was destroyed in the in the destroy ending and her brain or consciousness transferred to a synthetic body!

I won't say it IS Shepard. I believe they may work in line to each of the 3 main endings for ME3 which would make Shepard a reaper, a memorial or a retired veteran. In the case of the last one we may see Shepard as an older guy either being an NPC or a squadmate (Like Marcus in Gears 5 except they don't retcon the character or the story and make us hate anything in the series moving forward)
This N7 for me feels like they're focusing on an assassin class like Phantom, hence the slender frame uniform, and it's a new character. My personal thought is that it's someone trained by Shepard personally which would possibly make him the new Hackett or even the new Anderson for the game.
Another theory is that it could be his kid (biologically or otherwise) which would possibly bring in a chance to play a different race and could further the unity of the galaxy by having interspecies combatives training and soldiers in the military from multiple backgrounds.
(I refer to Shep as male because that's all I play as)
The helmet thing though actually would fit on a human head. Picture Snake Eyes in G.I. Joe, this helmet is similar, almost skintight.
Looking at the drawing you did on the helm, there is still curve within the gaps and the lower parts look more like they cover the ears.
Regarding the helmet, when you move the ears below the gaps, the eye slits on the helmet don't match where a human's eyes would naturally be. It just doesn't make sense, no matter where I move both a masculine and feminine head. 😖
@@paragonseven That does make sense, but it may also work like the helmet for Shade armour. The Shade helm has a visor over the whole face or could also work through digital visor on the inside. (Purely spec though. I really have to watch the trailer again... and then a bit more) I've never really thought about it. Could also be the dudes at Bioware were just trying to make a flashy trailer to make our mushy brains go 'OOO!' you know. Something to trap us fans in case the Liara trailer wasn't enough.

An N7 is a human designation, but could also be retained by a certain already qualified human whom may have transitioned into another form following the near or total destruction of their body... 😉
As long as the already qualified human is in the next game somehow, I'll take it. I'll take anything (except their clone). 🥲

What if to save shepherd they had to do a sort of robocop thing where shepherd is more partially synthetic than they were before.
I could see them doing something like this. It'd open up so many plot threads of what the line should be for human enhancements, bringing people back, etc. And of course, organic/synthetic stories would be much more interesting to delve into if Shepard themselves are toeing the line on both sides.
Fairly certain this N7 in the teaser here is female. So unless this is Femshep exclusively and Bioware removes MaleShep as cannon and taking a stance for their story... Or obviously they just use FemShep as the model and you can choose later... Then this is more than likely not Shepard. Going by the mannerisms of the walk through the corridor, the way the upper torso turns wit hthe neck craning to look backwards, it all indicates a female body or a machine body. Not to compare the two but having absolute perfect posture is very rare for humans but found much more commonly in women.
Other than the mannerisms, the overall shape of the N7 suit is too curvy for it to be male anything. Shoulders are too narrow as well.
Besides the "Neck turn" is too smooth and in comparison to the Neck turn with Anderson. The teaser Neck turn is far more pronounced. Turns significantly farther, most of the turn being in the waist and not the neck.
My best guess. If this "had" to be Shepard. The body would have been re-built. Again. But this time in a more advanced and technologically sleeker form. A semi-geth Shep. Considering Geth are friends now, and all the "Old Machines" information they have as well... Don't see why it couldn't be.
I don't think there is a way to appeal to everyone they're going to have to choose an ending my vote destroy Shepherd needs to come back 😃👍

Which Shepard is canon? Male or female. Because when the character turns it's somewhat feminine. So the new character could be a new female character.
I think it’s a fully synthetic version of Shepard. This is one of the many ways that they tried to bring back Shepard. And it went completely wrong. And is now this character. We’re all desperate, I think we’re going to see, a Shepard who’s brought back like this, and a Shepard who is successfully brought back like he/she was in the original trilogy. I hope I’m right. Could be wrong, but I hope I’m right.
Fair, and there's isn't anything shown so far to dispute a synthetic Shepard yet, so it's definitely on the table.
