How to make green tea at home ?
This video is about how to prepare hand made green tea at home.
Homemade green tea process comprises mainly three steps :
Boiling, hand-rolling and drying.
Boiling is the first and key step in making green tea, it determines the shape and quality of the tea.
After boiling, the tea leaves is rolled by hand, a process in which the tea takes shape.
Drying can evaporate the moisture of green tea, create its shape and give full play to the tea's fragrance.

Sir, at which price we can sell this homemade green tea in local market?
Is the quality and taste of this tea is same/better than branded/factory processed products?
Price are not so good at local market and the taste/choice depends on the preferences of the user between hand made and factory made. Both are good.
Hey, it does fall into which type of green tea, means Sencha, Bancha, Matcha, etc.?
(There're also subcategories of these types, Fukamushi Sencha of Sencha category -for example.)
@@hearttouchingnasheed-xx6ey No sub category,
Hand made green tea generally.
If there was no background music added to, it might be better. I think if you'll show pan fried as well as steamed stuff, it would be better to differentiate between this video's stuff of boiling into water and them.
Yes yes 👍
@@Junkerivlogs Thanks, and it's a necessary stuff. Besides, there's another query, it's also necessary to have a video on how to make a garden on the roof of your house & in indoors as well, particularly in a higher and volatile (surprisingly changing) temperature place like Moulvibazar district in Bangladesh.
After rolling / pressing the tea leaves can we dry it in the sun directly?
Yes you can.
Sorry I missed it ....what is that plant called? Thank you.
Tea plant?
sir, can you tell me the time needed for cooling the tea leaves under sunlight after immersing process? also it would be of great help if you mention the duration of each process.
It depends on weather conditions,it should be kept in shade for approx 1 hrs.
Thanks a lot sir
@@joydipbarua6720 👍👍👍
Sir, why should we dry in shade instead of sunlight?
@@joydipbarua6720 you can dry in sunlight.
Hello Sir ,Hope you’re doing well.I would like to know a Information and that is-
"Can I start the green tea making process after 1 or 2 days from Harvesting day?
For making green tea you have to process (heating) right after plucking.
i directly boil the fresh leaves and drink it. is it wrong?
You won't get accurate flavour and colour, It becomes more bitter.
Can we just boil the fresh leave and drink it without drying it?
No, you can't, there will be no any flavour, it will be bitter.
What if we use sunlight to dry instead of LPG?
It'll be ok but you'll get little different flavour.
@@Junkerivlogs thankyou
@@subitakhaleeng147 👍
How long it is boiled for and how long is the first drying before rolling ?
2-3 mins of boiling and 2-3 hours depending on weather.
Loving your videos !
@@hedykarim3614 👍👍👍
What if tea is made from fresh fine shredded leaves???Is it too bitter ??
Not sure
Can I use dehydrator to dry the leaves?
Dehydrator is a bad idea.
@@Junkerivlogs is it for the tea leaves?
@@adeoyetinuade9261 yes
How will make the grade sir?
Hand made tea doesn't need grading.

@@rebeccavlmuani4516 It varies, we are certified organic tea producer so our society gets highest price amongst all small grower and the price is reviewed every year, this year we are getting rs 80 per kg for green leaves at factory (transportation cost is ours)
