Great video! We have been using Bravewriter Dart and Arrow for years and love it. Have just started Memoria Press. We also have Progeny Press Lit studies that we plan on trying as well. I will look into the Confessions of a Homeschooler for my 4th grader, I like the idea of gentle approach for the classics.

I’m curious to know what you think about these two different literature programs after using each one! Please let us know!

I preferred the Total Language Plus books. I felt like they offered a more robust language arts education that included vocabulary, spelling, and writing exercises. Memoria Press was pretty much JUST a study guide for the novel. Almost all of the writing activities were copying passages from the book. My daughter liked the Memoria Press one better, but I think that's because it was overall less work (she was doing another Language Arts book as well so TLP + her grammar bool may have been too much.) I think it depends on what you're looking for! I also really loved the classic starts lapbook for novel study, but it doesn't offer any actual grammar teachings.

Yes! This was helpful! I looked at Lightning literature and book shark and a few others. I didn't want to commit to a whole year and a bunch of preselected books my kids might not like.
I am building a cart over at Rainbow Resource. I will be searching these out. Thanks!❤

Glad it was helpful! It's hard to spend money on something you aren't sure will work! I'm interested to see if my daughter connects more with the Total Language Plus or the Memoria Press books.
