New to your channel and I really like the information and pace you use to present it. I am new to Mac from Windows and trying to make the transition from Word and Excel so any tutorials that would help me get comfortable with the basics would be great.

Another question, is there a way to find the lowest or highest number in a column? Could formatting be applied? Say a color. Can the formatting be made to change as the spreadsheet changes? For instance if a column had the numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, high light the highest and/or lowest number, but if a new number, say 70 is added, the highlight for 50 would go away and move to 70? I suppose there are other things to have the spreadsheet look for.

Hmmm interesting question. Unfortunately Numbers only allows you to change the cell color base on that cell's value. you can't do conditional formatting based on other cell's values which is what you would need to do in this case (If I'm understanding your question correctly). Thanks for the question, and thanks or watching!

@@apple-a-day My son-in-law who is a longtime user of Excel said Excel could do what I had in mind. It's not anything I need to do, but it would be "useful" in a spreadsheet I keep of gas for the car. I'd like to highlight the highest and lowest I've paid for gas, highlight the best and worst gas mileage, etc. Thanks for your reply.
