I have had my XM4s for the about the same time, using them almost daily. So far I’m really happy with them. What impressed me most other than the NC, is the range. I can leave my iPad by a window on the second story and get clear sound working all around the yard. Even around the corner. The only issues I have run into, are that they are just a little too chonky to lie on, though they are not designed to be used like that and that the "talk" feature (turns on ambient sound when you speak to make it easier to understand others without having to take the buds out or manually disabling NC) seems to react to the slightest chuckle or clearing your throat etc. Ended up turning that off.

I've bought my XM4's a couple days ago for just $120, and I couldn't be happier with how they performs. Their ANC, their sound quality, how they fit in my ears, their BT range, man... they're insane. I have also a WH-1000XM4 and I really have trouble to find sound quality and ANC differences between them both. The WF are one of the best, if not the best, all-round BT/ANC earbuds you can get these days.
Bought these about more than a year ago. Gotta say, theyre just wonderful. Everything about them is perfect. Great sound quality, great noise cancellation, great features. The only thing that sucks really bad is the foam tips. The ones it came with have already split and broken so I've had to get silicon tips which are easier to stick into my head holes and dont split open after a while. Recommended buy!
Best, most accurate review on these buds yet!! I couldn't agree more!! My only downside is, like you said, the call quality isn't the best. In facet, according to everyone I call, they absolutely suck! I have no problem hearing anyone, however everyone I talk to over these while on a phone call, say that it's VERY hard to hear me. Or it sounds like I'm in a can or underwater....VERY annoying. If Sony could fix this issue they would have the absolute BEST ALL AROUND earbuds on the market!!
The XM4s are the bees knees. I've had mine for 6 months and my gf had hers for maybe two weeks before I got mine. We both love them. Both migrated from airpods pros.
I’m in the sane boat. Love the EQ bespoke setting of them to tailor the sound. But the case is too bloody big and they are quite large in comparison to other buds. I’d love to test AP2 with these.
I got these and was using them around the house and thought they were really comfortable and sound great. Then I went on a trip, not expecting these tiny earbuds to handle airplane noise but nope. Almost perfect silence. I kept switching between noise canceling and not because I was amazed at how much it canceled.
Buyers beware. There is a touch sensor malfunction issue/bug in cold weather, where the touch sensor ativates randomly whithout user input. This is a known problem present in the xm3 and sony did´t address the problem in the xm4. So basicaly you cant use them outside when is very cold, because the touch sensor will star actuating by it own, pausing/skiping tracks ou enabling/disabling ENC function by it own. The problem resolves it self when they warm up though. If you live in a cold country and plan on using this outside... DONT BUY THIS EARFONES. You have been warned.
I bought my pair a couple of years ago after reading all the wonderful reviews at that time. Working good till a couple of months back. After one of Sony's updates, the earbuds started overheating within a very short time of charging. Then they would drain in no time. Approached their service centre and they say that I have to buy a new pair! They said that these issues (overheating and draining of battery) happen due to incorrect charging; that it has to be disconnected as soon as optimum charge is reached. I purchased my pair from US. Warranty or not, it is not honoured in another country. Never buying a Sony again.
I have them on right now! I've had them for several months and I love them! Real Talk. The foam tips work great, but they'll need to be replaced after only a few months. Other than that, the noise cancellation is Superior!
Hey! Do you know where I can purchase the replacement ear tips? I've been looking everywhere but still don't know which ones i should buy.... thanks in advance for any help!
Agreed, I got silicone ones that fit much nicer than the foam, and are MUCH easier to clean the inevitable earwax! Think they'll last longer too cause foam just crumbles over time.
@@antigl3966 bought them today. the bass is not overwhelming, one thing I noticed that when you increase volume to max it automatically nerfs bass. tried to listen some dnb. all the tones were there and the high notes did not get muffled or anything.
Hi, can I ask the following, please? 1/ Can you sleep in them? I have super light sleep and a somewhat loud neighbor sometimes and I tried everything, still waking up at night. Will these help? I mean, do I have to play music or can just cancel out outside noise (I do NOT want any sounds or music when I sleep, I just want some sweet silence...). 2/Are they comfortable when in bed, can you sleep on your side or only on your back? 3/ Do they cause a feeling of nausea or alienation, you know, like a hollow feeling, a void around your head or something or simply canceling the noise without unpleasant side effects?
I've never had to turn off ambient mode, I also don't use adative sound control. I also switched to using silicon tips a I found them easier to slide in and out vs waiting for the foam to mold. Overall I love them. Curious ot see how the new AirPods Pro 2 will compare, most likely will stick with my Xm4s as I actually enjoy listening to music on them unlike the AirPod Pros.
I've got the XM3 and the XM4. I don't find a huge jump in terms of sound quality. I actually find the XM3 to have a bit of a better sound to be honest. Noise canceling is really good thougb, ill give them that. The ear tips are cheap. They fall apart easily. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL TO CLEAN THE TIPS. They will fall apart like a wet paper towel. If you're coming from the XM3, the old ear tips will fit the XM4. So you'll have some back up at least. Touch control are very responsive too.
Hey there, Josh. Thanks for your great review of the Sony Earbuds. I am extremely hard of hearing and have had a hard time finding earbuds that can pump the kind of volume I need to hear phone calls and enjoy my music. I know you are thinking that would just further damage my hearing, but I really have had stable hearing loss progression over the years with my earbods. I have been using Senso earrbods which have the volume I needed, but their products no longer have the volume they did before for whatever reason. Perhaps because they were afraid to have lawsuits over damaging customer's hearing. So my question to you, Josh, is, do you know what earbud on the market has the most volume please? Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
I’m not sure of any that are marketed for high volume listening and I personally haven’t tested how high the volume goes on any of the earbuds we test. However, one thing you might want to consider is bone conducting earbuds. I know a few people who’s hearing that has started to go that have enjoyed those. Unfortunately that’s the only real advise I have, but good luck in your search and let me know if you do find a pair that’s suitable for you - Josh
The AirPods with the longer stems have been pretty good in my experience since their mics are closer to your mouth. Some over the ear headphones have been pretty good as well like the Bose 700s or AirPods Max. - Josh
I just comment to support this channel. I already bought these ear buds today and I'm just waiting for the delivery. 😅 But you mentioned everything that would have been important to me. So take my comment and my thumbs up!
@@ihsanjasni8712 I'm using them daily and I love them. But - big but - I had to change the batteries because in the end they only lasted me less than an hour. Now, with new batteries I love them again.
How does this compare with the recently luanched Airpod Pro2 ? How long does the battery last for XM4 for a continuous say conference calls over 4G/5G voice and data ?
I received the original AirPods Pro as a Christmas gift years ago (I think it was 2018). I love love them and pretty much bring them all the time when I go out, even when I don't think I might need it. They're getting a little glitchy and I'm trying to see Black Friday deals for AirPods Pros 2. I'm torn between the AirPods Pros 2 vs the Sony WF-1000XM4. They're both on sale for a similar price where I live, and I use an Android phone, so it's not like the Apple ecosystem is a motivating factor for me (although I do have an iPad Pro).
Can you please review Edifier NB2 Pro True Wireless Earbuds? Also mention if the earphones have buttons or swipe gestures as I prefer buttons. And also mention what other features earphones have apart from increasing and decreasing volume and Play pause.
@@benanderson4118 I had this issue too until I broke mine in with the smallest foam tips. They worked better than the medium sized, and larger that came with them. I'm assuming everyone here isn't dumb though and went through all the foam tip sizes.
Just picked a pair up... OMG... the NC and sound is so much better than AirPod Pros! The only negatives I see so far is the buds are a bit difficult to take out of the case.
@@yingnanwang9304 unfortunately no… the Apple era buds are the easiest. The Sony ear buds are harder to take out of case and put in the ears. But putting back is easy and the red dot marks the right earbud.
I bought the Beats Fit Pro when it came out and I am on my second pair and I’ve just about have had it. The wingtip of the earbuds tore twice and for 200 dollars is very disappointing. I’ve been looking at the Sony XM4’s for a couple weeks now and happy to say out of all the reviews i’ve ended up watching this was the best and non-biased. I found a certified refurbished pair on ebay for 130 and I just bought them and can’t wait to test out the new earbuds and replace the fit pros.
@@bigblue1031 welp sadly i had to return them. My ears got scratched and started to bleed because of the earbuds being big and bulky where it hurt very bad after keeping them on for long periods of time.

My battery life got cut in half after 6 months on my first pair. RMA'd them for a new pair. 6 months later and battery life is half again. I also only use my left earbud yet somehow my right earbud that's almost never used only lasts 3-4 hours also. Guess i'll be RMAing them again.
I'm sure that many of you have found posts that complain about the battery life of the right earbud is worthless. Those complaints are valid, mine started about a month ago. Lucky if I get an hour with the right earbud. I would NOT recommend these earbuds.
Whoops, our answer could have been better there. Thanks for pointing that out Santiago. Though Cécile, I do think it’s important to keep in mind it’s not actually like the pixel buds swiping function and you won’t have playback controls on the earbud you put the volume functions on.
Great video, Josh. I have been using the AirPods Pro since launch and I can say that I haven’t gone without using it for a single day. I am extremely happy with it. I would definitely want to try out the Sony's but I wouldn’t be able to give up on the AirPods mainly because of the convenience and the ecosystem.
Love my MX4's, got them from a friend for 100$ brand new. Just so good to train at home and not bug my wife with loud music or while we are working with whatever I am listening on my openend Grado's. Also zoning out while she is watching TV and doing some work done. They charge super fast, sound great, have become way way more comfortable. Gestures are a must and use them every day. Great for calls too. We'll see on the battery side of things. Keeping vversion 1.5 for now.
But do they have noise suppression like the airpods? Will people be able to hear the busy background while you are on a call? Also why is the airpods mic so good? I want a airpods equivalent that works on PC.
Thanks for the video. I have one question, are these EarBuds suitable for connecting them to MacBook Pro M1 chip? right now there is a discount for this and it got 166€. But I am not sure to buy them or not. I really appreciate your help regarding this matter.
Yeah, they’d connect fine. Mic quality isn’t as good as it could be for work calls though, so just keep that in mind if you want to primarily use them with your Mac to be on video calls. - Josh
I was so excited to buy these, after having the first generation AirPods (that fit very well in my ears). However, after buying them I realized they don't fit well in my ear as I have very small ones... so basically, I cannot enjoy them and take most of them since I cannot fit them correctly, and when I have got it, they fall very easy and starts hurting after a while of use... I regretted it a lot buying them :(
Hi! I was wondering if you've tried having the earbuds in while wearing a tight beanie or something similar? Have they ever caused you discomfort? The reason I ask is because I wear a headscarf and have struggled to find earbuds that don't become uncomfortable/painful after 10 min of having my headscarf on 😅
Got them on Christmas Eve, still haven't used them properly yet, just tested them to make sure they worked, downloaded the headphone app on my phone. The clarity is wonderful, the volume can be turned up to deafening levels so it seems, I'll be taking them to the gym tomorrow to stretch their legs in the place they where bought for. My question is, do I get them insured?! Has anyone had them for a significant amount of time, and run into problems towards the end of their warranty, or when the warranty's expired?!? Doubt I'd lose them whilst using them as there's no way they'd fall out without you noticing. I am one of those people who'd lose their head if it wasn't attached, so putting them down somewhere and forgetting them is always a possibility, unfortunately. The main concern is I've read comments from people saying their bud's battery life isn't the best after taking them for a few laps over the months, and that one bud can underperform while it's opposite is fine. Just got a quote for insurance that covers everything, including loss, £5 a month, buy the policy or not?!?
Great review, but it surprises me he said they are comfortable. I had to buy aftermarket plugs to at least support using them for more than 30 minutes. The original plugs hurt my ears so bad that I cant wear them more than a few minutes.
I’m looking fr new earbuds..I had the soundcore liberty 3 fr a year or so…anc and call quality was up n down..call quality and clarity is super important as well as anc..in your video you said the mic was above average..can you elaborate on that ? Thanku again
I own the XM4's, and can't leave the house without them. I almost immediately stopped using my Sennheiser Momentum2's. I still try them, but it's noticeable enough for me.
Considering this because the Airpods Pro just don’t fit well for me. They keep falling off, so I don’t trust them for workouts and sometimes I lose the noise cancellation because of the fit. Also curious, How does the Alexa/Google Assistant integration work if you use an iPhone?
I loved my WF-1000XM4's. I use past tense because the battery has gone haywire, so they're now close to unusable. The worst is the right earbud that lasts 15 minutes max. I bought them on their UK release in June 2021 and they started playing up in August 2022. So outside the warranty :(
@@kurtreply I got lucky as John Lewis give you a 2 year warranty 😅 So they’re in for repair/replacement now. But if I didn’t have that I would still buy another pair, just like you
Only issue I seem to be facing is that while I have both earbuds on, one or the other will eventually stop playing audio, so I have to tap that earbud for a few seconds for it to reactivate. It can happen to both right and left, but it's always just one, never the two at once. It happens around 1-2 times per hour. It's really annoying. Sometimes the audio just doesn't come back at all so I have to put the earbuds back in the case and take them out again. Otherwise these earbuds are amazing.
I've owned this set for a year and I wouldn't wish these on my worst enemy uncomfortable as hell software is buggy input options are limited and the case already feels like it's going to break the only good thing about them is the sound
Yeah so after your review on the linkbud I was interested in getting myself the XM4 however they seem to be dropping like flies with the battery in the buds and the charging case seem to degrade really fast. Can anyone confirm this as eBay seems to be full of 100+ joblots.
No, I also found the Pros hurt my ears. These are comfortable compared to the Pros. I’d give them a try. They also say in quite well thanks to their foam tips. - Josh
Haven't tried the Jabras yet, but they're on our list of brands to try out. We heard from a good number of subscribers in our viewer survey that was a brand they were interested in.
This is my same question. I use my AirPods Pro when going around town and at work because they’re so freaking convenient. But I also have the Jabra Elite Active 75t earbuds because the bass is insane and they stay securely in my ears. And they’re perfect for my long bike rides. But I have wondered how the Sony XM4s could compete in some of those categories. I assume they’re so close that I’d prefer to stick with the 75t buds.
have had fitting issues but the sound is very good, my only issue is after a couple years the battery life is pretty poor. You pay a premium price for this and expect the battery to last a little longer than it actually has! Have read about various issues elsewhere with this & its disappointing that Sony don't care if its out of warranty - the customer has to pay to fix thiis 😞
Really? Mine started having the same issues but they offered a free replacement or refund without hassle for me. I opted for a replacement. But if the same issue happens again I'll probably go for a refund next time.
Came here for a customer review because I'm considering purchasing them My Apple beats earbuds do not perform as well as they did when I bought them a year ago
I purchased these on amazon and received them earlier today and I'm returning them. They gave me a headache because they fit so tight in my ears even with the smallest tips and the sound quality wasn't as good as my Soundcore Liberty 2 earbuds which cost half of what these cost. I was extremely disappointed. I'm going to try the Samsung Buds 2 Pro instead.
I also have liberty 2 but wanted to get these sony headphones, expecting them to have better sound quality, did you try galaxy buds, are they comparable to soundcore?thx
@@jadrankokerekovic2728 yes i actually did have the Galaxy Buds Pro 2s. They sound great but they didn't fit well, they always felt like they were about to fall out of my ears no matter what eartips i used on them. I think there are too many assumptions by reviewers that if you are not using the airpods, you are using an android device. I have an iphone, but dont want airpods. So I am looking at bose, sony, beats, etc. to go with my iphone.

Hello Josh, Recently, like 4-5 days ago I started realising that my wf xm4 left bud battery is extremely weak. When I start using them both with a 100% charge for both right and left side, the left becomes 0 when the right is still maybe about in 80's! Like not even an hour. Have you faced that? Do you have any recommendations? I have searched the web and did everything possible to do by my side. Reset initialize, etc.. still as bad. The problem is that I got them online from outside the country where I live in (Qatar). Because they weren't yet released in here, like the first couple on months (2-3) from being released in the US. I have been using them for about 10 month (since August 16). So I don't think a I'm applicable of a warranty or replacement because I'm outside :/ Sorry for writing that long. Thanks for your time! Great video!
I have them for one year . I have them faulty once ( weird noise comming in when anc) after 4 months . Got new under warranty and they went faulty exact the same way short before warranty expired Lucy I got new set . Sold them straight away . Don't get anywhere close to this product is my recommendation .
I love these earbuds however after a year the battery life declines tremendously. This is my second pair. I replaced the first pair because of the battery drain problem. Now I'm experiencing the same problem. For this pricetag, this is unacceptable and very disappointing for a brand like Sony. I won't be getting a third pair.
I’m keen to buy them, but one thing that sets me off is they miss the multipoint connection, which I’d need (two different android branded phones). Is it somehow to overcome or should I look elswhere? My main target is ANC and good quality for long phone calls.
6 months later review. And still using the on-the-box specifications instead of using personal experience and technical knowledge. Random youtube videos in a nutshell
If you need to, can you use a single ear bud at a time independently? My old Bose would only work Independently from the left ear bud and had zero functionality from the right bud by itself
Thanks for the video! Just got mine yesterday, sound great, but the NC is still not as good as I expected (vs. airpods Pro or Beats Solo Pro) I don't know if that has to do with the earbud size? Maybe try the small one?
The thing I want to know before purchasing them is, do they connect quickly to iPhones like the AirPods, or do I need to manually connect them to b-tooth everyone I need to use them?
Ones like the AirPods that have their mics closer to your mouth seem to perform better. But I haven't had any issues with people not hearing me talk on these when I go out for walks and talk on the phone. So they're definitely useable. - Josh
I like them better than Momentum 3, which I think have too much bass. The problem with Sony is that they are very uncomfortable to wear. XM5 are better since they are quite a bit smaller.
I originally loved my WF-1000XM4s, but now regret the purchase. After the firmware update to 1.4.2 they're pretty much worthless. I get about an hour (normally less) in the right earbud and the battery will be dead. Searched all over the Web for solutions, but nothing. The moderator on the customer forum just refers everyone to the instructions, nothing useful. In fact I've have not seen where sony admits that there is a problem. Probably last pair of Sony earbuds I'm going to buy.
I started having the same issues. I contacted Sony and they gave me the option for a repair (though it's actually a replacement) or a refund option. Since I love the quality of the the buds (plus they support 360 Audio) I rather not opt for a different brand. Also, I've already had them for more than a year and they still are letting me replace them at no charge.
Please help me here. I have bought these based on this review and I am totally at a loss as to how poor/non-existent the noise cancelling is..... OK so I pair them up to my phone. No problem and I can play music. The sound is OK I'm not an expert and that's not why I bought them anyway. I put them in my ears and open the app. With no music playing I switch between Noise Cancelling / Ambient /Off and there is absolutely zero difference in any of the modes (there is no music playing just ambient sounds from my room). When I say no difference - I mean no difference at all. I hear the buds telling me the mode has changed when I tap but the surrounding noise level does not change at all. I wanted these to eliminate as much as possible ambient noise around me and these buds do absolutely nothing at all. To say I'm disappointed is un understatement. If I am doing something wrong I would love to know what. Thanks in advance. I watched this video on my laptop while wearing the buds and set the level quite low. I switched continually between Noise Cancelling / Ambient /Off and there no difference in noise cancelling at all.

Me too, the battery drops fast, probably after the update.
@@LeoVSekaiEN Azla silicone or comparable.🤜🏽❤️🤛🏽
Agreed, I got silicone ones that fit much nicer than the foam, and are MUCH easier to clean the inevitable earwax! Think they'll last longer too cause foam just crumbles over time.
Looking for loud and bass are they good for that ? Thx
Curious ot see how the new AirPods Pro 2 will compare, most likely will stick with my Xm4s as I actually enjoy listening to music on them unlike the AirPod Pros.
are you still using them?
I've got the XM3 and the XM4. I don't find a huge jump in terms of sound quality. I actually find the XM3 to have a bit of a better sound to be honest. Noise canceling is really good thougb, ill give them that. The ear tips are cheap. They fall apart easily. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL TO CLEAN THE TIPS. They will fall apart like a wet paper towel. If you're coming from the XM3, the old ear tips will fit the XM4. So you'll have some back up at least. Touch control are very responsive too.
Just got these yesterday and took advantage of the Black Friday sale. They are so good. I am happy with my purchase.
Me too $179 cyber monday

@@6MonthsLater Thanks so much for your quick reply, Josh. I will definitely look into the bone induction.
I tried some bone induction headsets. Not so good for me, but thanks anyway.
Excellent video thank you! Which are the earbuds that are the best for phone call sound quality in your opinion?
The AirPods with the longer stems have been pretty good in my experience since their mics are closer to your mouth. Some over the ear headphones have been pretty good as well like the Bose 700s or AirPods Max. - Josh
One of my best purchases. Totally worth it except for mic during calls.
How come?

Glad you found the video helpful!
What do you think about this earbuds after a year of usage ?
Update: I bought the Airpod Pros 2 and I love them lol 😆
Can you please review Edifier NB2 Pro True Wireless Earbuds? Also mention if the earphones have buttons or swipe gestures as I prefer buttons. And also mention what other features earphones have apart from increasing and decreasing volume and Play pause.
For me the xm4 is perfectly build, with only one problem, the confort with another person, not with everyone.....
Yeah same, they are only comfortable if you have big ears.😅
My mom wanted to try them out but they were way to big for her ears 🥲
I've had the XM4s for 3 months. Everything is great except the fit. They are simply not as comfortable as my Jabra 85.
Are they easy to take it out and put it in the ears?
Glad you found the review helpful!
You won't be disappointed

I love your reviews, they always mention what I need. Just a question, can you control the volume like the Pixel Buds?
You cannot unfortunately, that would be a nice feature.
Yes you can, just go in to the app and set it up
Whoops, our answer could have been better there. Thanks for pointing that out Santiago. Though Cécile, I do think it’s important to keep in mind it’s not actually like the pixel buds swiping function and you won’t have playback controls on the earbud you put the volume functions on.
My airpod pros shit on me after 2 plus years and I just got these today and I’m already in love
I'd go for Sony, just because they are not Apple. Anywho, got the Nothing Ear(1). They work for me, decent noise cancellation, battery etc
Any experience on doing sports with them?
In terms of sound quality would you choose Sony WF-1000XM4, Sennheiser Momentum TW2 or Sennheiser Momentum TW3? Thank you in advance!!!
Just a very quick question, can you customize the tap controls in the App? Cause in older videos I heard people say that wasn´t possible
Looking for the best buds for phone calls...what's your rec?....thx
From the ones we've used, I think that would be either AirPods Pro, Pixel Buds Pro, or the Sony Linkbuds S. - Josh
Best explanation ever. Thank you.
I regretted it a lot buying them :(
Ditch the foam tips get spinfit cp360. No more pressure or pain
I feel the eact same way they are the most uncomforable pair of earbuds I think anyone can create.
Xm4 battery drains after firmware update, brought it second hand,400 war gone in wind, with 10 min battery 🪫 life,,,,,sound quality is excellent 1:15
How is the transparency mode against working fan?
That use the mic and pass the sound?? or does it fill like you without them?
So outside the warranty :(
This happened to my xm4's as well. Still, I like them enough that I got a new pair for $150. I hope they last a while!
@@kurtreply I got lucky as John Lewis give you a 2 year warranty 😅 So they’re in for repair/replacement now.
But if I didn’t have that I would still buy another pair, just like you
Mine are about the same with the left getting 6 mins with ANC and the right getting around 20 mins with ANC.
Might want to contact sony. I've never had that issue and I've had mine for quite a while too.
What would you recommend for phone calls?
I've owned this set for a year and I wouldn't wish these on my worst enemy uncomfortable as hell software is buggy input options are limited and the case already feels like it's going to break the only good thing about them is the sound
Do works as free hands calling as individual? I mean, during call if i switch between them and put the other in the case, the call remain?
Yeah so after your review on the linkbud I was interested in getting myself the XM4 however they seem to be dropping like flies with the battery in the buds and the charging case seem to degrade really fast. Can anyone confirm this as eBay seems to be full of 100+ joblots.
I find airpod pros to hurt my ears and fall out quickly, how do the sonys compare, should I worry that they might have this issue as well?
No, I also found the Pros hurt my ears. These are comfortable compared to the Pros. I’d give them a try. They also say in quite well thanks to their foam tips. - Josh
Do they sound ok with noise cancelling off? Most other phones/buds I've tried sound amazing when on and pretty terrible when off 😰
How loud do these get? Im interesting in buying but Im someone who likes really loud music.
You didn't go into detail about aspects of the sound quality ..... it's the most important part of these ear phones !!
Didn't you do 90s TV and movies?
How much better is the sound compared to cheaper brands, I've Lenovo lp5(€15) and found they sound better than wf1000xm3. Are these really worth €200+
I bought mine for $130 on Amazon and I love them!
Do you think the XM4 headphones are worth paying $60 more on Black Friday over the XM4 earbuds?
How do they compare to the Jabra 75 elite buds. I’ve had mine over a year now and love them
Haven't tried the Jabras yet, but they're on our list of brands to try out.

My Apple beats earbuds do not perform as well as they did when I bought them a year ago
I purchased these on amazon and received them earlier today and I'm returning them. They gave me a headache because they fit so tight in my ears even with the smallest tips and the sound quality wasn't as good as my Soundcore Liberty 2 earbuds which cost half of what these cost. Hello Josh,
Recently, like 4-5 days ago I started realising that my wf xm4 left bud battery is extremely weak.
So I don't think a I'm applicable of a warranty or replacement because I'm outside :/
Sorry for writing that long. Thanks for your time! Great video!
Nope
I have them for one year . I have them faulty once ( weird noise comming in when anc) after 4 months . Got new under warranty and they went faulty exact the same way short before warranty expired Lucy I got new set . Sold them straight away . Don't get anywhere close to this product is my recommendation .
I love these earbuds however after a year the battery life declines tremendously. This is my second pair. I replaced the first pair because of the battery drain problem. Now I'm experiencing the same problem. For this pricetag, this is unacceptable and very disappointing for a brand like Sony. I won't be getting a third pair.
Are these much better than the link buds S?
I will mostly be using them for school and in the gym

I’m keen to buy them, but one thing that sets me off is they miss the multipoint connection, which I’d need (two different android branded phones). Is it somehow to overcome or should I look elswhere? My main target is ANC and good quality for long phone calls.
Multipoint is coming with firmware update I've read somewhere
It’s supposed to be coming out this month in the next update.
Which earbuds have the best microphones for phone calls?
6 months later review. And still using the on-the-box specifications instead of using personal experience and technical knowledge. Random youtube videos in a nutshell
If you need to, can you use a single ear bud at a time independently? My old Bose would only work Independently from the left ear bud and had zero functionality from the right bud by itself
Yes, you can just have one in
Thanks for the video!
I may be too late, but I think only airpods and beats automatically connect.

1 year i used XM4 my right is degraded baterry fast drain 1.5 h 😢 and left is very good battery 6-8 active on Noise+EQ
Did you mention anything about Bass? I didn't hear anything about it, I guess!
If you had to compare these to grado's buds for just music which would you prefer?

As someone who works in a loud, oily factory I'm having a hard time finding a good pair of ear buds
