i played the mobile port years ago, its way harder than it looks, and its very fun. i only remember that when your ball cracks is outer layer the weight also changes, which could affect movement
Woah, I thought I’d dreamt this game for years. I was telling my Husband about it just a few weeks ago and was trying to see if he’d heard of it at all, and now here it is in my feed. I love that feeling of realizing a game you thought was just a figment of your childhood imagination was actually real.
I'm happy to see this game from my childhood still has players and even a custom level scene, seeing this was uploaded 6 days ago instead of 10 years ago
This was on autoplay for me after 4 hours of Jerma clips. I just sat there and watched, waiting patiently until he would start speaking again, not even once questioning his newly-found godly dexterity in a game like this
never have I been so mesmerized from gameplay footage. this has potential to really pop off in short form content, like how people put Subway surfers at the tops of videos
Everything about this game gives me chills that are somehow both unsettling and exciting. The psychedelic, dreamy aesthetics and atmosphere, the crisp sound effects, the mystical but fun and sometimes uncanny music. I become entranced by this simple but desolate, abstract world. Will always be one of my all time favorite games.
I clicked this expecting music, thumbnail looked like an album cover. Now i have this game i know nothing about yet feel like i should give it a try. Also this reminds me a lot of Marble Blast! Another fun ball rolling game!
Have I ever seen this game before? No. Did that stop me from watching the whole thing? NO. I'm obsessed. GOD this looks like it was made around the time Zuma was. it is SO mid 00's. It has the aesthetic of a courage the cowardly dog episode. I'm really in love with how this game looks. It's cozy in the way I have no mouth and I must scream is cozy, if that makes sense
rolling games truly are a unique thing. so many different ones even if the same core idea is the same, monkey ball, marble blast/marble it up, ballance...
When you think about it, rolling balls (rocks) downhill is probably one of the earlier forms of entertainment, from marbles to all kinds of ball based sports, balls have always been there for mankind. Beautful.
I remember years ago, countless times trying to balance the ball - a lot of success, a lot of failure... The way you balance it has had my breath taken so many times!
honestly didnt know this game. it entered my recommended. i even still dont get what was happening most of the time but i watched the whole thing and did not regret
I used to love this game as a kid, and I also remember playing a custom level for it many years ago, but by now I thought that it was forgotten and instead there's a community making insane new levels! Thanks for making me find out about this and gg on the gameplay btw, that's some insane precision in some of those sections
Theres something very eerie about this. I mean, theres only ambience playing in the background, and no other sound besides the player (the ball) rolling and moving a few objects. Along with the occasional minor sounds such as the dinging sounds (or however they're called...) Hell, theres not even a single sight of the surface beneath the platforms. Meaning that if one accidentally falls off of the platforms, they will likely be falling for a long time until they plummet into solid land.
The game has a strange feeling indeed. Not creepy but not relaxing. You're on the edge of falling too so it's a bit stressing too. When I was a kid I very liked this game, but "Switchball" came not too long after, and the vibe is way more upbeat than Balance.
Omg, this video unlocks my so damn deep memories from the past about this game. I barely remember it, cause the last time I played it was when I was 5, and now, I am watching it from my recommendations. This is so strange feeling, and I love it. Thank you.
I think I finally at least rediscovered *one* game, that I used to play in the library as a kid. There are so many ball-rolling games out there, but I'm quite sure this was the exact one! (Onwards to finding some SpongeBob shareware that had the Goo Lagoon in it, some racing game featuring European looking highways with occasional jumps on the sides, with (unsure) Carmageddon style 'driver reaction cams' and the (very Carmageddon) ability to run over deer or other crossing wildlife.)
Never saw this game but the first thing that caught me was the sound design. When you hear the ball rolling on those rails or colliding with that big steel dome? Jeez. It's just so good.
No idea why this is recommended to me but I played this game before at the day care's computer when I was like 10, I could never find what the game was called until I randomly saw this in my recommended videos. Cool video and thank you algorithm overlords
This game reminds me of another game with the same mechanics except it has a hamster in a ball in neon stages. I was addicted to those videos as a kid for the same reasons I clicked on this video, the structures.
I grew up on this game, it's such a classic. The vibes are real. also since when could you make custom levels??? also a Ballance video in 2024? are we living in a simulation? is this a dream?
I'm js, we need some 90s Jungle or marble blast ultra music playing in the background, the gameplay is quiet right now (excluding the in-game noise obviously)
I remember my dad downloaded this game for me from the disc with the collection of games for office. I also remember not being able to finish the second level. Is this level in vanilla game or fanmade? Because holly shit these office workers grew some capital G GaminG skills by the looks of it
I finally found it I saw some videos on this game (at least I’m pretty sure) like a decade ago but I didn’t remember the title and I could never find it again, and now this just pops up in my recommendations. The other game was more brightly colored so I’m not 100 percent sure it’s the same but it looks familiar otherwise right down to the segment thing
Getting this in my recommended feels like finding the video game equivalent of an old video of cats “talking” to each other from 2009, and yet this was posted 9 days ago?
i thought this was a drum n bass album
😂
We need jungle im afraid
sameee i thought it was gonna be a sick ass album but we got forgettable game instead😂
What Animusic does to a person
I would've bet my life

the only thing missing is the bandicam watermark
the game
@@Alxasaurus i still use bandicam 😅
56 too much imo
@@OwnageTheCat god fucking damnit
The 2000's vibes are immaculate
Apparently the game came out in 2004, so that checks out.
I’ve never seen or heard of this game before. To me, right now, it’s a ball rolling around the inside of a really abstract album cover.
Its a magnificent game when you play it
The levels have very big difficulty spike sometimes though
i played the mobile port years ago, its way harder than it looks, and its very fun. i only remember that when your ball cracks is outer layer the weight also changes, which could affect movement
just try it - it's awesome game
its a classic. woth gyro control and an adapting camera its really fun
@koroll_rakov what's it on? I check steam
they turned jungle into a video game, cant believe it
The game seems simple enough, which means you know there's some kaizo stuff like this
Degenerate
The game actually gets quite complex right at the end, which surely has influenced people to make kaizo-level stuff for it.
I love the aesthetics of this game
Literally the quintessential 1990's/ Early 2000's 3d cgi aesthetics. Love it.
Is there a name for this art style/aesthetic?
@@64manxman its called using the resources available to you and im not joking
many games look like this in 2004
The audio in this game is absolutely divine
that's the reason I remembered this game and searched for it after all these years

Holy shit I remember playing this game years ago
Same here man. It's nostalgic
Same like 2006 on my XP
I'm happy to see this game from my childhood still has players and even a custom level scene, seeing this was uploaded 6 days ago instead of 10 years ago
Probably helps that it was recently re-released this year. I’m honestly surprised there isn’t more videos.
I didn't know it got a release! Happy 20th anniversary I guess haha
Why did i get recommended this
idk but it looks cool
because
Algorithm overlords said so
ball
idk but i'm glad it did
This was on autoplay for me after 4 hours of Jerma clips. I just sat there and watched, waiting patiently until he would start speaking again, not even once questioning his newly-found godly dexterity in a game like this
One of the first games my dad showed me when the pc was introduced to me. Honestly it's still pretty enjoyable.
this is also one of my very first games I've ever played
This was randomly recommended to me; I've never heard of this game before. But this video is very pleasant, it made me happy
Ditto
Me three
I have been looking for a game exactly like this! The surreal 2000s DnB aesthetic is just the extra on top!
I clicked on the video thinking it was a DnB mix lol
This level plays like an adventure. Must've taken many tries to remember what to do. Nice!
oh i like this. idk why but just seeing a ball rolling around is really satisfying
never have I been so mesmerized from gameplay footage. this has potential to really pop off in short form content, like how people put Subway surfers at the tops of videos
I have never seen this game before, but after 1 video I immediately understand its mechanics.
what is the skin change for?

So basically this is a balance-oriented version of Marble Blast Ultra.
this feels so nostalgic despite me never having seen it before. It feels like the computer lab at my elementary school
i need this game immediately. the sound effects and the dynamic music stings, the ball physics, holy crap this looks amazing.
It was released on Steam not long ago. I’d personally love to see a Steam workshop for custom levels since from what I can tell, it’s pretty short.

yes, this game is very ethereal
impossible to stop watching, great gameplay, very chill to follow along
The Steam release of this game getting a workshop for custom stages would be rad as hell.
