      Teddy Zuder We all fell for the hype at one time or another. Back in the early 2000s, prior to the days of internet research, I fell under the Strivectin SD Cream spell. It was (and still is) expensive for subpar ingredients that did nothing but make my skin look greasy. Thankfully, I now use a simple routine along with my Retin-A cream & Alpha glycolic acid lotion for wrinkle prevention. My skin now looks great.

      Actually there is nothing wrong in those high end skin care lines, some of there products are amazing as amazingly priced; however, there not essentially necessary to a good skin care routines but some dermatologist uses some of those mibe she uses, La Prairie cream, La Mier.... she doesn't recommend me to buy them but they do something some others creams don't, is like a women needs her purse, some buy Guess by Marciano, MK, Coach but others like LV, Gucci, Hermes hey all works but some are one of a kind....it all depends upon the wallet access.

    I feel like Kylie is not using any of this on her own face. She has soooo much money that she probably wouldn't put anything less than hundreds of dollars worth of products, clinically good or bad, on her face. I am not her target demographic, nor is anyone in their 30's probably. I think its good for teens and young adults to get excited about skincare, and get in a habit of using it in conjunction with makeup. But, without sunscreen, she's just encouraging the positive behavior of using skincare. Sounds like a starter kit. But walnuts??! That sounds incredibly irresponsible.

    • @Nicole-qc5dh
      @Nicole-qc5dh 5 лет назад +5

      I don't understand the walnuts either. In her sales pitch, she described the scrub to be gentle enough for daily use and said she does so.🙆 I don't believe that and I don't believe that Kylie doesn't fully realize that crushed walnut is a harmful exfoliant. It's a cheap exfoliant, leaving her lot's of profit. Her demographic, teens and early 20's are not generally as well educated on skincare, so they will buy this crap thinking they are doing good for their skin when they are actually destroying it. It infuriates me because I know Kylie knows better.

      Her Tatcha review wasn’t very good. BUT I have had problem skin as I’ve been getting older lots of inflammation I’ve tried everything for sensitive skin but even that will irritate my skin and give me texture. I tried the travel size Tatcha deep cleanse and water cream and OMG! What a turn around my skin has made! I didn’t want to like it because of the price but it’s been so life changing I’m sticking with it. I also eventually was able to add Sunday Riley turmeric and vitamin c oil for extra hydration and it’s been working wonders but I say you just have to try for yourself. Hope this helps

      speaking from experience...dont waste money trying different things...just go to determologist and get the right treatment and recommendations for your skin types it's maybe a little pricey but your face and wallet will thank you later. my favorite products are Cerave face wash, some type of sunscreen, use prescription retinA once a week, murula oil from Acure and Aveda moisturizer at night. I also do derma roll and shave my face once as week. I see a big difference in my skin mostly bc of retinA.

    Dr. Dray has completely changed my skin care game. I’ve thrown out anything with fragrance, outdated items or products withoutsunscreen. I’m using the Cerave gentle skin cleanser and the same brand A.M. and P.M. hydrating lotion. I’ve added Vanicream to my recent Amazon order and was actually shocked to not find an over the counter lip product with an acceptable level of sun protection in it. It’s been four weeks now and my skin has never looked better. Less is definitely more. Thank you Dr. Dray.
