There seems to be a ton of movement between the stock and the barrel on those slow mo shots. Is this because it's not bedded, or is this normal for the 110? I have the 110 Tac in .308, which is bedded, i've just never filmed it in slow motion for comparison. Thanks!
Just the cheap Tupperware stock flexing all around. The stock isn’t stiff enough to support the recoil of the rifle (even though it’s only a 6.5 cm) so it flexes and that’s why you see the entire action moving around in the stock
Indeed, and most likely it's because it's NOT bedded, unlike the 110 Tactical. They wanted to save half a pound of aluminum weight, but I wish this was optional, I'd happily sacrifice the weight saving to get that bedding back :'(
yes, it does look like it moving a fair bit but I would suspect that if you slomo your own rifles, they would flex more than you think. the bottom line is, they shoot extremely well over a broad range of calibers and bullets. My own rifle is the Weather Warrior in 7 remmag with the accustock (pre accufit unfortunately) and this is the sixth year in a row that I have gone to the range and fired a 5 round group that is precisely where it was the previous year. I clean it well, fire another 3 rnds(again, no change in impact) and I'm ready for hunting. What more could you ask for?
One you don't know why they are their, they may need help. Unless they have a weapon in their hand just ask if you can help them with anything then if not ask them to leave if they don't call the police and have them removed
Looking at one of these as a next rifle but I think they made the barrel too long for an “ultralight” rifle. Would like to see this in an 18” barrel .308
It’s kinda sad when you look at the stock movement in comparison to the barrel... Savage- let’s “blueprint” our action and put a high end proof research carbon barrel on it it’ll be awesome. Also Savage- wouldn’t be a Savage without the typical Tupperware..
Gorgeous looking lightweight rifle, love it.
My new Savage 7mm PRC is a tack driver. The stock is excellent. 🇨🇦👍
Mine aswell.
A beautiful black rifle. It hard to beat a savage rilfe, have one but need more .
Very sweet trigger - out of the box. 👍🇨🇦
Cool rifle.
Just bought mine

This may be the determining factor on not getting it for me. I still can’t decide.

Wish it came in 243
Which ammo do you find it shoots best? I tried the Winchester ammo yesterday and the chambering of the rounds was not very smooth on the 110.
Thanks
Why can’t I find a ultralite 270 in camo
Any issues with the stock since the ultra does not have the Accustock rail system
Left hand?
What Lupold scope is that?
Great review. Kind of funny. I just ordered this rifle tonight then seen this in a email link. Went with a 28 Nosler for my ultralite
How does it shoot? Looking at getting the same.
I bought mine in 280 Ackley
@@2Advocate2021 Even with the 22” barrel? I’d get it in a heart beat if it was a 24” barrel.
@@2Advocate2021 wasn't sure about that short barrel with the 280 ai..
Know this is old but how did it shoot? And what did it shoot best? I just got a 28 in it and have never owned a .28 Nosler.
Damn… why did I buy the X Bolt? 🤦🏻♂️

Sorry hit the wrong video
MSRP $3300?
$1200-1400 (even though u prolly know that by now)

They make a 20 inch ultralight all stainless in 308 I have had one for 2 years use it for everything from coyote to elk
@@williameltringham7559 how is the recoil in the ultralite 308?

Have you heard of a free floating barrel😂😂😂😂 @Devan Zang
Still seems to shoot very accurately
Is it aluminum bedded?
No
Yes. There is a chassis bar in the stock. Pretty solid. The stock is molded to the chassis bar
You can see the cheap plastic stock flopping around by the barrel during the intro. The proof barrel is the only good thing on it.
What do you expect ...its floating
Lol never heard about floating barrels before?
