Thank you for including the Klasiks in another one of your videos! We would also like to see how they compare with other 7" models in similar price range.
Using the focal alpha evo 65 while listening to this material it seems that the APS sounds more pleasant. Keep in mind that evo 50 costs half the price of the APS. In this comparison, the evo 65 would be a better choice over the evo 50. In any case, fantastic job you are doing. Thanks a lot! Now I'm waiting for the comparison between APS and Evo 65. Personally I decided for a bass reflex in the front because of the space in the studio and I don't regret the decision. Focal alpha 65 evo can give a very good price/quality ratio.
Attention, apples vs oranges! The APS Klasik 2020 and Focal Alpha Evo monitors, sound very different in reality (the specific sound signature, cannot be observed in the video). It is best to compare them (A/B) in reality, and then choose ... I am not saying that one is better than the other (this is a personal decision), but only that they are different. Focal Alpha Evo, in turn, is very different from the old Alpha model (Evo is a different type of monitor). I know all 3 models, that's why I say it!
APS simply has much better clarity and controlled bass (it's very similar to a sealed speaker). Not to beat a dead horse, but we need that 65 Evo comparison.
For listening pleasure the aps sounds better. But for mixing the evo’s have a much flatter response. The aps sound alot brighter and more open which is more likely why people would choose them over the focals. Its crazy seeing the frequency chart so similar but the sound is so different.
APS are more analytical, also sounds enjoyable. I love the Focal 65 EVO also. I have checked many monitors last week. APS more controlled 'short' bass-es. Specially has checked kick-bass combo was more separated on APS.

With APS Klasik 2020, you will not be affected if you position them close to the wall (but not glued), because they work more like closed boxes.
APS has impressive super-bass line. Sounds more pleasant overall.
Huge difference in the guitar tone in 'Man on Fire'.. Superiority of Klasiks is simply shown best there.
Thanks for another great material and your work. Can you compare these speakers to the Mackie CR 5X?
Focal Alpha 65 EVO pls. That would be more fair
JBL 104 vs Edifier R1700? Estoy entre esos 2 y no se cual elejir TT_TT
Did you think about giving information about prices of both speakers e.g. from Thomann?
You can't buy APS on Thomann. Pair of APS cost about 1050€ in polish shop. Pair of Evo 50 is for 490€.
@@p6radox256 Wiem, tylko chodziło mi o to, żeby podawać mniej więcej cenę za parę monitorów, bo to ma znaczenie np. w tym przypadku
@@Bumper210 ok, ok. Kolega z DSAUDIO też jest z PL. ;)
Hi, something can you propose in a prize of focal but less harsh and more pleasant, like the Aps are?
I prefer the APS as i find it more detailed and open sounding, the Focals have a slight veil when comparing

I really love the look of the focals but prefer the more laid back sound of the aps
Edifier mr4 vs eris 3.5 presonus
APS has a bit more clarity, heft and projection.
Better cymbals and more natural timbre according to how my stuff sounds. The APS have won me over since they showed up.
The Focals sound closer to the ref track on my Shure se215
Ok the first song only.
Is the APS start to roll off at 4khz?
i might not be audiphile eneough but theres almost no difference between tehm

It s better for the french not do any technique, perfume and croissant are all the can.
I really can't stand the sound of the evo range, much prefer the old alpha's.
