I know someone that has this model guitar. It sounds just fine plugged in, but not so much acoustically. While it isn't expensive and it is made of a laminate (plywood). I call it a campfire guitar. Laminate guitars are usually stronger and can take more of a beating. Which is why I think its a great camp fire guitar ( plus the price ).
Depends on what style of body you like and also LOOK AT NECK FINISH! This one is gloss which I’m not a big fan of, can sand it but be very very careful if so. This one has a smaller body it seems so I think it comes down to preference. Great question!
LateBjart that’s what I was was thinking. Like you’re brushing a baby’s hair. I just walked out of guitar center, this thing can sound amazing if you’re not afraid to attack those strings!
I love all my fender acoustics, but they all have neck problems from 11 fret and up. The same note plays on fret 12, 13 and 14. It's a neck hump, but maybe the fret kit will work. thanks for the tip.
@@sustainablelife1st - I was able to take some bow out of the neck, that helped the action, but then I ran into fret buzz. I bought a cheap general use diamond file kit at wal-mart. and a cheap fret file kit with the fret level, and the radius file. The cheap nut file is a "torch tip cleaner" you can buy one at your local welding store for like 3 bucks. After a couple of days of working on the guitar it plays like a $2,000 guitar. Next upgrade is a bone nut and saddle. should make it sound even better.
Bro, I just bought the Newporter, I bought it on Friday, I played it all Saturday long, and men, let me tell you that it has a good damn playability, but the sound is very thin, it doesn't feel very warm, and as cost of the very low action, the strings buzz A LOT, even after I calibrated the action, I record some stuff on my computer with it and I was feeling kind of disappointed because of the buzz sound (you can watch Amazon, RUclips reviews, this is something a lot of people complain about this model) and the lack of a deep and warm sound, actually it sounds kind of cheap, so today I just came back from the music store, and the people from the music store were kind enough to switch my Newporter that I bought them on Friday for my new Fa-345, and let me tell you, it sounds way much better, thought the playability is not as cool as the new porter, but it totally worths it also I got bored of the looks of the newporter very fast, now I am in love with the classic style of the FA345. Don't doubt it, 100% de Fa345. I hope you find this useful.

It depends on what you like my friend! Always check playability first! Check frets, neck width, sizing, body style, finish, etc. find out what you like about your current guitar and what features you would like to change and then buy a guitar that fits! Also go to guitar center and try some out! Good question!
You could probably use either and adjust properly for tone but one of the biggest things I look for is playability. I think on this fender I might try to remove some of the polish on the neck and go for something more flat for smooth hand transitions.
"Taww-tuss shell" Tusq is made by Graph-Tech Laboratories, and they bill it as "man-made ivory", it's created by reacting polymers under heat and pressure to get a constituency which gives the best sound properties. There is NOTHING shady about it, and your local luthier will probably have Tusq bridge pins, saddles and nuts and blanks ready to fit to any older guitar you want upgraded. "Proprietary" means that Tusq are a notable, discreet company. That Fender were Frank enough to admit they wanted the best fixtures on this guitar, and went outside their corporation to find them. Please, a little research with a thing called Google. Nice playing, nice sound. I have several Fenders, most recently a Moonglow 235, but now I want one of these, too. There's a "3-tone tea-burst" finish I may go for, close to the sunburst finish used on so many Strats.
As a total beginner ( I mean I can barely play the 3 main chords -g ,c9,d ) can anyone recommend a good starting point lesson wise? I’ve just ordered the guitar in review as the one I’m using now ( fender dreadnought ) has a cracked tuner head. Probably why I got it for free :(. Ps greetings from the u.k.
That really stinks that happened to your guitar! Try learning a few a chords and a scale and maybe a simple song. I have a few lessons on my channel about scales and a few chords to start with.
My dad just bought me this guitar! It sounds really good and is a reasonable price!
Awesome and yeah I think so to!
Thanks for the video! My work sells alot of our wood to fender and I get a decent discount.. Been trying to find the one I wanted and this is it
Anytime and I loved playing that guitar!
Another excellent review!

How is the action of this guitar? Low or medium or high

Awesome!
That guitar sounds amazing! You think you could give me your friends info so I can buy it off him?
Oh yeah for sure buddy I’ll DM you
Oh yes! Great review!

Should I get this or the Fender T-Bucket 400CE

go for the ibanez! i have both and well ibanez is much better
Wish you could have actually strummed it! You are barely touching the strings on the unplugged test. Afraid to disturb someone?
Haha I just play and sometimes it comes out weird I guess. I always just play soft in the pocket.

Hi I need a suggestion
Fender FA 345 or Breedlove Discovery Concerto CE , which one would you recommend , for both live performance and studio work ?
I’d say the Breedlove. It’s personal preference but I like the tone and feel better of a Breedlove guitar.
@@DevanBishop Thank you so much ❤️
Howz the string action ? I mean do I have to train my forearms to play it or it feels like knife through butter ?
Definitely not a knife through butter haha. It’s not bad at all though. My only issue was the neck finish I wanted to change...
How is this guitar for fingerstyle?? Is it better than cort ga5f-fmhop?
Never played that one before
*Honestly, decent guitar up until the fret buzz starting @11 fret. Don't forget to buy a fret file kit when you buy this guitar.*

Which is better this or the Taylor GS Mini?
I have never played the Taylor GS Mini but would love to hear your thoughts my friend!
I really feel like the mini guitars don't have the same sound, and would definitely go for this one instead of a mini. What do you think ?
So I subscribed I taught myself how to play harmonica so I’m moving on to guitar and this is the one I’m looking at as my beginner I’m digging it!

It’s laminated flamed maple.
It needs a pickguard
