How does she put so much emotion into her singing? I love Bonnie's. Always. Brandi seems to add a touch of anger to the heartbreak of swallowing what you can't change. Beautiful!
No doubt, life experiences have allowed her to be able to reach down into her soul and let both her and the listener feel the words and grant us all that emotional connection. She is amazing. I hope I get to see her for the first time, during her 2018 Tour.

I see it as a wonderful tribute, an homage to the original and also believe this is how these songs live through generations, as a legacy to the giants like Bonnie and Joni.
