- If your mixing console is equipped with Dante, either natively or with an optional interface card, then you can use Yamaha RUio16-D and a connected computer to run a heap of additional VST3 Plug-in effect processors, either as inserts or send-and-returns. And the latency is low enough to use it live, for enhancing a PA system, a live stream or broadcast. Here you will see how to integrate it into a Dante network.
You can find out more about RUio16-D.

Yamaha, please make a Dante-only version where the computer remote-controls the fx racks via network (no usb connection required) and all plugins are hosted and computed on the standalone box. Also, we absolutely need a decent bus compressor as well as a true-peak-capable maximizer plugin!
Very well presentation, I'm a newbie to this, now I need to visit a music shop.
-will I be able to monitor the plugins without printing them on the track itself?
-can I include any audio interface that contains Dante, or is it exclusively on Yamaha interfaces?
-in mixing the Dsp in Daw will have also vst rack plugins ?
-what about 3rd party plugins ?
What is the latency like? How many Dante channels at 96k?
is it class compliant?!?!
How low the latency?
Why is this hardware even necessary if I already have DVS? Why can’t I use DVS with VST?
You can, but minimum one-way DVS latency is 4ms, which is unusable for any non-time-based effects.
When will it be available in US?
its Work in Yamaha TF5?
