It’s even more sad because Tanea stated in her other interview that her own mother didn’t like her and she just thought that maybe it was because of her father. Generational curse at its best. So incredibly sad.
She needs a mother not a friend, but now that’s she’s so far into her prostitution she’s not gonna listen to her mom because her mom was never a mom. When you raise kids all your life or have to be the adult, it changes you. She can’t be a kid now, she’s not gonna listen to her mom because her mom is in no right to act like a mother now, she should’ve been playing her part.

@morgenmachen2400 now, now hold on there. Nova could grow up to be just like her which begs the question, how was Tanea raised? Maybe her environment was not conducive for growth into psychological maturity. If Tanea is naturally a slow learner she may have turned off her desire for growth. The one thing that is/has stunted her growth is that she doesn't want to provide for her own. In her first interview, she said she can't be paying her own bills. With that being the case, she will not fight to provide a proper environment for growth for her children. She just wants her daughter to be safe living the same lifestyle that she herself is living. What's needed here is a WHOLE lot of sincere prayer from people who sincerely believe God, AND then, an intervention. But prayers for them cannot stop for life and neither can the human intervention that have the wisdom and resources to help them, including helping them become helpers of others.

As soon as she appeared, I immediately understood why Nova is the way that she is. Nova was very clear that her mother has been instrumental in showing her the lifestyle she currently lives now. Tanea is literally competing with her daughter. Look how irked she was that Nova’s father talks to Nova instead of her. No awareness and no accountability from Tanea. Just a very disturbing and very sad situation all around.

@@southphillylilly You know I started watching Tanea’s first interview and her mother also had her at a young age. I haven’t watched the entire thing but I apparently her father also abused her. So clearly it’s generational but at some point as an adult you have to take accountability for the role you play in passing along the generational trauma instead of pointing the finger at everyone else but yourself. She may not be entirely at fault but she has a hand in it as well.

If one were to call CPS on her, they’d place her in a group home, whether she would stay or run away is up to her, but the state legally has obligation to ensure her safety ( shelter )

Omg I worked in customer service for cardholders. I got a call about 300 dollars being missing from this old ladies card and I felt so bad. I read her the statements and told her it was used on cashapp. She said it must’ve been her granddaughter and she said she used it for Uber. I think any interview that is done with a minor, especially a runaway should be all the way blurred out. Listening to her and Nova makes me realize why my mother did what she did. My mother is a ex prostitute. My siblings and I came out straight, regular jobs etc. But my mother expected us to pay her her lifestyle, she treated us like we were her tricks. Watching this after the Nova interview is heartbreaking, I couldn’t even finish it. This woman is still young and still needs to do a lot of healing and learning herself- she isn’t ready to be a mother, and in bringing a child in the world her unpreparedness means she pushed her daughter into the same life. At just 13. She should be far more ashamed than I think she is.

No excuse that he's not a "breast man" because she readjusted her see-through "bra" numerous times during the interview, and her body language showed discomfort with being so exposed. There are only two reasons why someone wouldn't "notice" this: He is so desensitized to child nudity that it didn't even occur to him that this could be sexualized (very unlikely), or he knows it will drive controversy/views and therefore $$$.
Mark has spoken on podcasts about being paid millions for single ad campaigns he's shot. He's also recently begun sponsoring his content and started a censor-free, paid version of his videos. I don't think it would be a stretch to say this man has gotten used to a certain income and after publicly acknowledging he doesn't make it through SWU anymore, would resort to ugly means to keep his lifestyle going. There is literally no way in hell that a man as intelligent and successful as Mark would be oblivious to the fact that uploading a child's breasts on the internet would be highly problematic if not illegal and just.. disgusting.
Regarding the mother and child: Two things can be true at once. The mother can be a horrible, narcissistic role model and the child can also be highly behavioural and exhibit anti-social traits irrespective of this. No question that what Nova has done is learned behaviour. But one only need turn on their smartphone and learn whatever delinquent behaviour they want in this day and age. There are kids selling themselves who come from exceptional backgrounds. Did Nova have that? Obviously not. But she is open about sending sex offenders videos of herself on Instagram. I guarantee it wasn't her mother who said "check your private messages and send them your videos". Her mother has experience with the law and would never encourage her child to knowingly sell CP. Tanea is arguably more reliable in this interview than Nova is in hers. This is not a defence of Tanea, rather a wake-up call to those who need *someone* to blame. It is not *one* person who needs to be blamed - it's the rap industry (Yes, Sexy Red), Tanea, her father, her temporary step-father figure, her friends on Fig, lax CP exchanges being possible on Instagram, LA city development that literally paid to build skid row and made it uncomfortable for homeless people to leave it, etc, etc. etc,!.
Before getting mad at Tanea, people should be getting mad at the rap industry in promoting the most vile, delinquent behaviour we have seen in our lifetimes on our screens.
