    After a few years in storage, I put the V56 on my camera and took some photos of weeds wide open in the sunshine. I was excited with what I saw, but I knew they weren't quite right.
    A couple of days later I watched the conference replays and now this video and realised what I was doing wrong or what I should do to make better photos. It was all so simple when you hear the experts giving their tips and tricks.
    Shooting flowers has never been my cup of tea.....but, it is now !

    Great presentation and information. What about using lens on crop frame camera - Fuji X mount.

    • @LensbabyUSA
      @LensbabyUSA  3 года назад +1

      We do have some lenses that work better with crop sensors, such as the shorter focal lengths though at higher apertures the effect can disappear off the frame. Also the Trio 28 & Obscura 16 were designed exclusively for mirrorless cameras hence the focal lengths.

    Hi, Lensbaby. I'm a conceptual photographer and I want to take my look all in camera instead of photoshop. I like how your lens creates the impressionist look in camera. I really want that vintage impressionist look in my conceptual portraits. Should I go with sweet 50 or velvet 56?

    • @LensbabyUSA
      @LensbabyUSA  2 года назад +1

      Tough question! Both are wonderful portrait lenses. The Velvet will give a beautiful glow over your entire image and the sweet will give you a sweet spot of focus, surrounded by soft blur. It really depends on what effect you prefer. We have videos about both lenses on our RUclips channel ruclips.net/channel/UC8jSBVHpxLOLo3lqAApAd5w

    I wonder if the rf version of this lense makes a better or noticeable difference compared to the ef lense? Asking for the Canon eos r (which can use ef lenses and rf lenses)

    • @LensbabyUSA
      @LensbabyUSA  2 года назад +1

      Hello, thanks for reaching out. There is not difference in the lens quality between Canon EF mount Lensbaby's & Canon RF mount Lensbaby's. The lenses themselves are built differently to account for the difference between a SLR & a mirrorless camera but that is all. Both are pin sharp & exception quality glass.
      Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

      In relation to the Velvet lenses, all of them along with the majority of our lenses are available in a Sony E mount. Just choose the correct mount from the drop down menu before adding to your cart: lensbaby.com/collections/velvet-collection
