DIY Stepping Stones - Kids Project

Over the past week we have been making stepping stones for various areas in the garden. The process is quite simple and requires some ready mix concrete, molds (we used dollar store 9 inch round cake pans) and some decorative shells, rocks and glass marbels (again all form the dollar store)
The process we used:
Mix concrete as per instructions on the package, and distribute mixed concrete to molds (we found that greasing the molds helps is releasing the stones after they have cured). Smooth the surface with a trowel, then imbed the decorative shells and stones in the concrete surface (the deeper into the concrete the better they will hold). Wait overnight for the concrete to set then release from the mold.
