Hi, great resto, love it, about the masking tape before you sticking it on to the model first sticking it on to your cloths jeans, t-shirt etc. several times and it will became less sticky, (old painter trick.)
Have to say that there's a lot of talent starting to come through and the models are getting better and better. Yours is definitely is a strong contender for top drawer. It's great to see someone at last using a proper gun. I'm going to have to do one but for now l'm concentrating on full size ones!
Great job bro! Man I hated to see that paint pull off on the first paint job. That will happen to me every once in a while! But hey I’m the end it turned out awesome! 💯👍🏼
Lovely restoration, I just hate when the masking tape pulls the paint off like that and you have to start all over again, what you did second time around was really cool though, great job👌👍
My tip: next time, when you are masking the wheels, use white PTFE tape, the same plumbers use. It has no glue on it and it conforms to any shape, easily. Easy on, easy off. Give it a try and tell me what you think ! And also use the yellow LOW TACK tape, instead of the high tack white tape. That glue is way too fierce. And as we can see, it tears off the paint......
Love the look . I’ve got one of these to do👍🏻
Great job great paint work cling film helps cover large areas for painting

My first thought: How does he avoid paint coming loose with that heavy duty masking tape? ;)
