Hi ya just found your video, thanks Now I know what the ERG valve is I need to get one before I die of fumes! Your link to a new one does not work, and I wanted to ask where can I get a valve or do you have another link? I will go looking now just in case I don’t find one any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks
Im so glad my 2005 crv se (japan model) doesnt have egr 😭😭😭 its never good to have your engine breathe in its own throw up.. luckily this motor is port injection and not direct so youll have cleaner valves... but happy P0420 hunting with the egr valve soon
Low chance youll reply, its been awhile since you potsed the video. I have the same year make and model. Trying to remove the air filter housing. The post on the top left with the rubber grommet is giving me a hard time. How dod you get past this issue to remove the housing and reach the valve?
My man, your videos and tips are awsome as always! If I may suggest you something, you could explain why and/or when replace, clean or do the procedures you are teaching us. And use metrical units as well specially in torque tightening. By the way, what happened in this case, that lead you to replace the EGR valve? Tks!
Hi, great video, thanks. Just wondering, I have the same model and it appears there is an identical valve connected to this one via a pipe located at the front side of the engine. Is this another EGR valve or something else. I cant seem to find anything about it online. Cheers.
@@LarryRichelli Yeah I was wondering that too. I am not sure the 05 or 06 has an EGR system. There are different recycling systems. EGR is old tech if i recall correctly. Not sure what the 05 has.

@@DjSkipAlexander The oem egr valve seems to be out of stock at the moment, check the aftermarket egr valve I listed.
@@MrRangerZr1 thanks

Once you're sure all the bolts are removed, just carefully yank on the airbox.

That pipe doesn't need be cleaned, it leads to the exhaust.
@@MrRangerZr1 ok great. Thanks for the quick response and keep up the great videos 👍 Cheers mate.
That is def not on a 2002 crv. Must be a different year.
2007 crv
Hey the 05 Crv has the same egr valve ? Cause I haven’t see it
It should have it.
I don't think the 2006 crv has one of these. I can't find one for sale and don't see it anywhere on the engine
