Ever considered doing like Anthony. Grab a campground for a few months still living in your van, with a some what temporary location, giving you time to unwind , relax ,and rest. Running up and down the road could be a once a month thing. You’ll be saving money,by not moving and not putting so much wear and tear to your vehicle. Get a tent where you can set up your kitchen, and stand up in it. Like Anthony does. I think he has the right idea, because he’s not up and down the road like you are. That is most definitely exhausting on your body. This is just my opinion.
Thank you for sharing. Not being able to stretch out/stand in your living space can be exhausting. I hope you get the upgrade you desire and deserve ..get your rest...we are rooting for you 💕
Hi Abiyah! Have you thought about signing up for Trusted Housesitters? Most people have pets they need you to care for while they're traveling. I'm strictly a cat sitter but that's just my preference. You could book sits in whatever state you're exploring to give yourself a rest from sleeping in your van.
Hey Abiyah. That’s why I gravitate towards campgrounds. I wouldn’t be able to survive out there trying to find parking all the time. And all the other worries of always being on the road. Only staying here and there for one or two nights. I’m more of a stability type person. Even as a van lifer. But one thing that I do, that you don’t do. Is plan. I’m a planner. This CA Road Trip coming up in September. A lot of it will be planned out. But I can easily see how you can get burned out. I honestly believe that if you plan a little and know what’s ahead. It will not be as exhausting.
Girl, you are weary, which includes mental and spiritual fatigue. You’re right. It’s more intense than just being “tired.” Remember to give yourself grace, and know that you are awesome.❤😊

I feel like that living in a two bedroom apartment and two bathrooms by myself with my son being gone to college. I think it’s just a part of life. I think we just feel like that sometime but as we keep going, God always gives us strength. Sometimes you just have to take a break.I enjoy all the trips you take me on .
I can relate to all of your reasons for being tired of Van life, but as a health professional I must be honest. I have noticed over the last few months that your breathing is very heavy and labored. I knew from the beginning you were a heavy smoker because you can hear it in your voice and your breathwork in between your words, and you cough when you laugh. You didn’t handle the climate change well and you aren’t healing from your illness quickly. These are all signs of your lungs screaming for pure air, I hope and pray that you will consider putting the cigarettes down because I truly believe with everything I’ve experienced in my career that it’s killing you slowly. I can see it and hear it all over your body, please consider doing better for your health and your lungs. I say this out of love and concern. 🧡
What a transparent and excellent video, Abiyah. Thank you for sharing this. I’m probably older than you, don’t know, but I would lovingly like to offer these thoughts. The very start of your video sounded to me like you were literally saying “I’m depressed!”, something most of us have experienced, if we’re being truthful. Everything you said is so understandable. You just spent time in a home with people you love. Whenever I spend time away from the area where I live, which is lacking in many ways, when I return I find often find myself being a little blue. Your exhaustion is so normal. I feel like no matter which type of life one chooses to live, it is going to be exhausting at points. Living solo is no easy feat, either. I will say that you have shown us that there are Vanlife positives in that it has apparently revealed to you what you can and cannot live around in terms of cities, states or regions, and it’s also revealing things to you that you deem necessary for your well being, like stability, which you said in your video. Welcome to sticky rice! Don’t end up in a Thai store, you’ll lose your mind! ☺️Hey, make sure you check out all of your options for vehicles that have the amenities you require like standing up, shower, kitchen, etc. I have no desire to hit the road but I have been absolutely infatuated with several vehicles that were half the size or smaller than those luxurious ones you showed us, but just as well equipped! Abiyah, you’re not unusual or abnormal in how you’re feeling and I wish only happiness for you! You are right, never stop dreaming indeed!

❤😊❤😊 Yes, you filming is a full time job even you need a vacation from your vacation, really? Ha ha. I hope you know it is ok to not be a Superhero. I really understand your fatigue. I was a travel nurse and I traveled twice from Texas to Washington to work and I took 5 days at least on that 1 trip toward Washington and it's stress while I started a new job every time as I acquire my housing and find out where my hospital was. And how to get there? And what was expected of me , it's all very stressful. So you've done a great job, so please don't beat yourself up, believe me.
That’s why I’m looking forward to being back in STL. Cause there I don’t have to think about a lot of stuff and I have family and friends that I can visit. And that allows me to stand up, stretch and provides company.
@AbiyahBina ❤😊❤ I know how family is so important. I was living in Kentucky last year to be near my best friend, and he was great. We enjoyed being with each other again. But my niece is here in the Dallas area. And I was missing being with her and her sons. So that's why I'm back in Dallas right now. I've still got a Rv ..May take off and go back to Kentucky in a few years
New England Van Life guy (Benjamin). Do you know of him? He just up and quit. He was just getting started then this happened. He gave a shoutout to Winterisblue a new fantastic guy., maybe he knows something. Have you ever stayed at campgrounds before. Your van needs a built kit in the back. Life with Anthony is the newest that I follow that has a new built where he can cook, bake, etc just like at home. You need Campgrounds and a kit build . You’ll be better. Feel better and you can rest without moving around. Make yourself an Amazon wishlist and let your subscribers help you. Anthony got an icemaker, fridge, oven and a .stove. What about a p.o. box? Let us make you comfortable. ❤❤❤
Hi Abiyah. I think you should talk with Anthony. He bought a van kit for his van. It looks so organized now and he can sit up in his van and he loves it. I know he knows who you are because he mentioned he enjoys watching your videos. I think you should reach out to him. He really loves also his cooking set up. Thanks and be safe.
@@Sunshine-pt4ks it was a suggestion. 93,000. Is a lot compared to 4,000 to be able to sit up and do things you enjoy. I will pray 🙏 you find a solution.
Sounds like you needed a mental break and I'm happy to know you realized it and didn't force yourself to do anything but relax. You have gone above and beyond the call of duty on your van life travels to share with us some of the most amazing people places and things, that are out there all around us and we either don't have the means or the money or the nerves to actually do. So I say thank you for being the amazing person you are to and for all of us 🤓👍🏾
I totally agree..I am older and have health challenges that will not allow me to travel like you do , but would have loved to in my younger days. Then I might not had a fear of traveling alone to different places and sleeping in a van. I greatly admire you. Sending love from the NATURAL STATE ARKANSAS 💕
@@marilyna3491🙏🏽❤️Same here. I’m 50 and haven’t driven extensively much. I couldn’t do it. Makes me sad about myself but so happy for her that she CAN!🙏🏽🖤💪🏽
It made good sense. One of my favorite. Real life. I enjoy the historical aspects of your videos but to be honest, I follow you and several others just to see your VanLife-whatever that is. So, don't think you have to work so hard to entertain us. We just like who you are.
The best van lifers are real. Chill. I prefer the blogs that are not "perfect" and choreographed. That is trying too hard. It is hard on you. I prefer what you did today. I want to hear you. I do not care if it is a beautiful song and pictures and cinema quality. Please go with your inner knowing to slow down. The west coast was beautiful. I have never been there. So go for it. Home base. TY for sharing. You are my fav van lifer. Be true to you. Oh, and your cooking is inspiring. You cook better in a van than most of us in a kitchen. Drone should be fun.
Sometimes you can get burnt out, That’s how I get at times.. I’m a OTR Truck Driver, so I have to take off about 2 months out the year to keep myself maintained.
Besides getting an influx of cash 😏 sometimes just a change or slowing down helps. Get different eyeglass frames, stay at a campground for a few days and do absolutely nothing, do a fast or cleanse, put away things you don't use, do or get something you miss. Review and renew.
hello friend, I understand you, it must be really exhausting that constant search for places to sleep and shower, and on top of not having the comfort of standing, and being able to cook more comfortably, keep going with faith, a bigger van will arrive. With a high-top van you would be more comfortable and your fuel costs would not go up as much. greetings.🤗 Muchas Bendiciones. 🙋🏾♀️
Decision fatigue is definitely a thing. I travel a lot but I stay in one place AT LEAST 2 weeks, if not 2 months. I want to enjoy, learn, participate, and chill. Traveling all the time, constantly figuring stuff out, constantly learning a place and reassessing your safety, not having a base, even temporarily, is constant work and unbelievably stressful. I have upgraded to a minivan from a SUV and I can't decide if sitting on my bed is worth less storage. You have a lot of space beside your bed where you can sit. If you don't mind telling me, what are your reasons for wanting or needing to sit on your bed also? I'm really trying to see the whole picture because I've learned what I assume in my head rarely matches reality. Thanks for your help and for making this video. It's not always rainbows and sunshine in van life.
Some vanlifers leave one seat in the back row so they can sit up straight to read a book, watch a movie, eat, write, journal....but Abiyah wants to prop up in bed and stretch out at the same time and in a minivan there is not enough room. As we watch vanlifers there are lots of options. A pop top can be put on top, regular size van will give more headroom. It's all different strokes for different folks. You may not read this but Abiyah may see it. 🤗
@@bevr2164 Thanks. As long as my bed is 11 inches tall or shorter, I can sit upright on my bed in a minivan so I can lounge ok. Unfortunately roof top tents aren't practical for people who stay in cities. Even high top vans attract a lot of attention and make staying in cities a lot more challenging. I liked nature but I primarily stay in cities and I'm a woman traveling alone so staying under the radar is everything. I kept one seat up in my SUV and it was really difficult top get to the stuff I had behind the seat from inside the vehicle. If someone is primarily staying in nature, they can always get out the vehicle and walk to the back but as a woman staying in cities, I need to be able to access as much of my stuff as possible from inside my minivan. Crawling around a tight space on your hands and knees to grab stuff and move stuff gets really old, really quick.
Shalawam Abiyah I believe you know this scripture. Mark 11:24. Also agreeing with you in faith for a new vehicle with everything you desire. Enjoy your time with your Son, get plenty of rest. We'll be here when u get back. 🙏🏾☝🏾💞
Sticky rice is delicious and versatile! I like it with basic Mexican salsa. Also, sticky rice with mango and coconut cream is a fabulous sweet treat. Hang in there, Lady! Breathe and just be ❤
We take standing for granted when we cant stand. I really hope the best for you. Take some time off. Being still is a good thing at times. Our bodies and minds needs it❤
You did sooo much traveling to places you've never been to. I can understand why you're so exhausted. I hope you can get some good rest eventually. God bless you dear.
Im glad you listen to your body when it needs rest. I couldn't imagine not being able to stand and stretch when you want to. Speaking a more spacious vehicle into existence!
Hey Abiyah A few years back I converted a conversation van to sell my jewelry. It was then that I realized the absolutely worse thing about the whole thing was not being able to stand upright so I get it! ❤
My parents have always had an RV since I was a kid, it’s how we traveled the U.S. As they got older their RV’s got nicer. LoL. The slide out bed isn’t good or really any slide outs unless you’re good at fixing stuff. If you park in a parking lot while traveling it’s tacky to use your slide outs and if your bed is one of them, you’ll need to sleep on your dining room table or other converted space while city traveling. Second, if your slide out gets stuck in the out position, you will have to get someone to fix it. If you’re out in BLM most tow trucks won’t go off pavement to help. This has happened to my parents, but both are engineers and can figure it out and fix things themselves. Also don’t forget you’ll also need to get a different license depending on what rig you go with. I prefer camper vans as you can still park in regular parking spaces, get around town easier, as well as go further out on BLM land with AWD or 4x4. Not to mention it’s cheaper than a full size RV. My parents RV cost more than my townhouse and I joke their RV is bigger and nicer. 🥴 Don’t forget the cost of gas and the maintenance. RV’s are costly to maintain especially if you’re full time living. My parents are retired but only travel 6 months at a time as they are old and when you’re older your body is a lot slower.🥺
I have a shuttle bus I converted into my own little hippie Nirvana camper. I wish so bad I could send you pictures! I was thinking you should do something like that as well because you have all the room in the world and it's way cheaper than the campers you just looked at. Those campers were super nice though ,holy cow! Even if you got a van you could stand up in, would make a huge difference in your mental exhaustion state for sure. The shuttle buses you can build your own bathroom as well with a little shower and I've even seen some people put little bathtubs in them lol! Being able to sit up in bed and read and also standing up and walking around and being able to stand up and cook it's just a huge huge game changer. It would keep you from having to run around looking for somewhere to take a shower and also just the room is just so wonderful. Anyway that's my two cents. I just wish so bad I could show you the inside of my bus it is really pretty and super comfortable and you can actually dance around in it LOL! Love your videos and I'm wishing you safe travels and I hope you will get your energy back soon❤️🌼🪄
@@BetweenBounty mine is a 20-footer and it gets about 15 miles per gallon on the highway. It's a Ford ...that's not too bad for as tall as it is. It's worth it to me but I know the prices need to go down on everything in this freaking country lol! I shouldn't laugh but it beats crying.....
Maybe check out vans you can stand in and have your own toilet/shower. You could possibly still stealth camp and it might be less on gas than a class c . Just a suggestion. Love watching your channel ❤️
I used to live in Tampa Florida, However eventually the congested roads,tourists,etc...burned me out now I live in a small town.Van life is exciting to watch others do it but I would find it difficult on a daily basis especially traveling without the company of another person.I think this is why we watch you guys because we admire you all doing something that most of us just dream about.take care.
I do believe having a youtube platform adds a lot more planning, creating a lot more content and being more creative to keep your subscribers interested, which in turn can cause major burnout. Nonetheless keep traveling in faith Abiyah. ❤ I'm plan to do this one day... it would be a choice lifestyle...
Jayco RV is nice. It's comfy, spacious and perfect for 1-2 people. Abiyah, There is nothing wrong with dreaming. I'm a firm believer that dreams do come true. Let it manifest out there in the universe. 😃
Abiyah, I understand the exhaustion. I took that trip from Wisconsin to Washington and back. It was fun but a long month of traveling. Now have rested and ready to travel again. Rest and Renew your mind body and soul, then get back out there.
The front of my van is a big graveyard 😅 I’m staying in the pnw for summer but definitely planning to hit Utah Colorado etc when it starts to cool down!
I hear you sister - I been tired too - Just too much the same stuff everyday so I am switching things up - I am not a van lifer but an introvert and sometimes I need to change things up from time to time - I love your channel and your vlogs are uplifting and refreshing - Thank you for sharing your life with us 😊
Abiyah, in your quest to get to the next place since the Great Salt Lake, you have worn yourself down!! You’ve taken a few days off when you finally got to Oregon, but I don’t feel fully “recovered “, and now worn out, you’re off to another location. Take a break! Find a spot where you can camp out for a week or two….yeah, pay a little more, but your health is more valuable!! ❤
Abiyah, listen to your body . If you need to rest then rest . Kuddos to you and other vanlifers for living this lifestyle . 😅 Tfs and traveling graces!
Just came across your video; I feel your pain and can relate. It’s been almost a year for me and sharing my experience (1st time …) might give you some ideas. I started van life full-time in a Jeep Commander then bought a 2008 Ford E25O extended cab with a high top at an auction (Be careful with this tidbit). I cannot begin to tell you the world of a difference it made. The point is that I realized I just needed a little more space (bathing, cooking, closet, TV, microwave…) Yeah, I want my house in my van!! Sold the house, but I knew my goal was to stack the paper for retirement while working and VANLIFE locally. The point, keep my expenses low especially unnecessary spending and driving. I also own a pretty powerful e-scooter to minimize driving which really helps. I cannot believe how much I love the freedom of VANLIFE but I know it’s a phase. I’m on a mission and it’s not seeing the world; it’s financial freedom and stacking my paper. I’ll travel when I’ve achieved that goal. The point: adequate space is critical for comfort and VANLIFE tolerance, keep your job (or income), prioritize, remember your goals and stick to the plan. Hope this helps and enjoy your freedom!! I could never be creative enough to make a video like this and I’m so happy you did! Thanks.
A lot of people are turning a Ford transit connect into a mini van because their good on gas 22- 23 miles per Gallon of gas & their tall enough to stand up in ! Don't know if your interested in something like that but you know what you need! Feel better & have a safe journey to see your Son ! 😊
This was actually a refreshing video. I enjoy these real talks. May you get the rig of your desire and the physical comfort you need. Stay safe and TFS, Abiyah🧡.
I cannot remember if I already left this comment lol. You drove SO MUCH in the journey to Oregon that you deserved and NEEDED, REST! I am so glad you took your time out. A huge motor home is such a huge change as your free/stealth parking days would basically be over. Paid RV parks only, but Anthony seems to like it :-). AND you could collaborate with Nomadic Introvert too so there are some pros to it. I am just thinking back over all of your previous adventures and a huge class C rig would have been almost impossible to go and park at the places you went. Definitely things to consider. I know you will make a great decision for you! Thanks for taking us along on your adventures!
Hello 👋, I hear you , why don't you get a full timrle job & an apartment & when you have vacation go somewhere & not worry about your past van life , enjoy you ... money don't bring peace of mind.
Aliyah, please allow yourself some grace. Your travels 🚙 are not only rewarding for you but for me/us as well. Thank you! However, your recent journey into such changing and ⛰️ high altitudes…and then descending all in a rather quick manner 🛣️ can be very hard on your body. Altitude sickness can manifest as just fatigue or along with other symptoms. 🪷 Please take care of yourself! It is VERY ok to be tired, do take some time for you and rest.
Hi Abiyah, I have been watching your channel for some time and admire your confidence in going out solo van life. A minivan can be challenging, especially when you can't stand up or stretch. Have you considered getting a high top to enhance your lifestyle more function?

It's okay to be tired. Take a break. You are a sweet person. Have a good day.
This video. Perfect. Rest is beautiful. Rest is necessary. Thank you for sharing.
Anthony paid over $4,000 for that kit. He also pays over $1,000 monthly for his campsites (his words).
@@Sunshine-pt4ks it was a suggestion. 93,000. Is a lot compared to 4,000 to be able to sit up and do things you enjoy. I will pray 🙏 you find a solution.
Yes you will! Keep the dream alive!
As I was watching this, I said she needs a bigger home, and then we get to camping world grant it Lord.
Off topic you have a beautiful smile Abiyah.
Thank you 😊
Yes!!!!! Dreams do come TRUE ❤😊
Besides getting an influx of cash 😏 sometimes just a change or slowing down helps. Get different eyeglass frames, stay at a campground for a few days and do absolutely nothing, do a fast or cleanse, put away things you don't use, do or get something you miss. Review and renew.
You been on the road a Lille longer than me, but I just got back from a 4700 mile rd trip and I am repacking my HHR. Getting out of Texas💯☮️
hello friend, I understand you, it must be really exhausting that constant search for places to sleep and shower, and on top of not having the comfort of standing, and being able to cook more comfortably, keep going with faith, a bigger van will arrive. With a high-top van you would be more comfortable and your fuel costs would not go up as much. greetings.🤗
Muchas Bendiciones. 🙋🏾♀️
Prayers for you.🙏🏼. Get the rest you need and enjoy your family. ☀️❤️
Hang in there Abiyah and take care of yourself! I love all your videos and get some rest!! ❤✨✨✨
Got tired, rented and lasted 3 weeks, now back in the van. Maybe vanlife needs vacation like house life.
Eventually you will figure it out!❤❤❤
Shalawam Abiyah
I believe you know this scripture.
Breathe and just be ❤
2 word UP KEEP!!!!!
Enjoy you visit with your son❤
I will, it’s always nice to see him.
You start very small with Van life
Just keep going
you going to have it just keep yourself healthy and stronger
We take standing for granted when we cant stand. I really hope the best for you. Take some time off. Being still is a good thing at times. Our bodies and minds needs it❤
Maybe it’s time for some campgrounds😊 you been doing a lot of traveling. Get you a tent or canopy & just kick-back.
Sounds very much like Vietnamese sticky rice recipe. Very yummy! Great video! Thank you!
Im in the same shituation, I been 2.5 yrs on the road & I need a bigger van!
Much love 😘
Hey Abiyah
A few years back I converted a conversation van to sell my jewelry.
Don’t forget the cost of gas and the maintenance. RV’s are costly to maintain especially if you’re full time living. My parents are retired but only travel 6 months at a time as they are old and when you’re older your body is a lot slower.🥺
Remember that the larger your rig, the more limitations on where you can park, travel to, through, and camp! Gas is also a big expense!
Remember why you started. Relax and enjoy life. It's okay to be still and be silent. Much 💘 to you and safe journey.
I want to do Route 66 from Chicago to California, I love the back roads and small towns along the way. 😊
That would be an adventure. I wonder how long that would take.
@@AbiyahBina I don’t know, but I’m not going to be in a rush 😊😊😊
I wanted one of those but the gas mileage 🤑
@@BetweenBounty mine is a 20-footer and it gets about 15 miles per gallon on the highway. It's a Ford ...that's not too bad for as tall as it is. It's worth it to me but I know the prices need to go down on everything in this freaking country lol! I shouldn't laugh but it beats crying.....
@@melissacoburn6873 Really! Nice 👍👍
@@melissacoburn6873 start a channel I'd love to see it 😁
You can always email her pictures :)
Holy cow nice rigs! I hope ur able to get some rest and recharge. 👍
You've been constantly on the move. I'm in awe of your ability to keep it going. I'm glad you took time to recharge
Hello from stl!!! Never knew any vanlifer from here!! I have questions but not on here!
I do believe having a youtube platform adds a lot more planning, creating a lot more content and being more creative to keep your subscribers interested, which in turn can cause major burnout. Nonetheless keep traveling in faith Abiyah. ❤
I'm plan to do this one day... it would be a choice lifestyle...
⏳Time outs are good. Safe travels to your refreshing place. Make that. 💰
The front of my van is a big graveyard 😅 I’m staying in the pnw for summer but definitely planning to hit Utah Colorado etc when it starts to cool down!
I hear you sister - I been tired too - Just too much the same stuff everyday so I am switching things up - I am not a van lifer but an introvert and sometimes I need to change things up from time to time - I love your channel and your vlogs are uplifting and refreshing - Thank you for sharing your life with us 😊
Do you do door dash with the same?vehicle you live in
Abiyah, in your quest to get to the next place since the Great Salt Lake, you have worn yourself down!! You’ve taken a few days off when you finally got to Oregon, but I don’t feel fully “recovered “, and now worn out, you’re off to another location.
Take a break! Find a spot where you can camp out for a week or two….yeah, pay a little more, but your health is more valuable!! ❤
Rest is a necessity so glad you take the time you need to rest and rejuvenate.
For your bed, maybe cut the legs down so you can sit up straight.
Do what u have to do. Because family and friends r more important. Never give up
I love in MN and watch y ur channel😊
Shalom sis!! Stay focused. Endure!! ❤
My husband and I bought a 5th wheel to do rv living full time with our toddler & baby, it may be a dream but it’s not impossible. We love it
If you don't have to live van living anymore give us anew adventure with your new life story ⏳💯🏡🤔🙊🙈🙉💻🚐🏡🍿🏃😎🤓😇
I understand. And I pray that one day you'll find something you can stand in with all you needs.
Get you a class c so you already have those things and have a little less stress. That’s why I went with the motor home
Yes it’s time for an upgrade! GOD will light the way for you and you are and will be blessed! Keep pushing, we are with you!🥰
I hope you get the rest you need!!! Enjoy your family with your son and travel safe🙏👍😃
Thanks.
Excellent post
That is why I almost always end up in a motel room.
A lot of people are turning a Ford transit connect into a mini van because their good on gas 22- 23 miles per Gallon of gas & their tall enough to stand up in ! Don't know if your interested in something like that but you know what you need! Feel better & have a safe journey to see your Son ! 😊
Your honesty is a beautiful.... keep being you.....
I was just in ND in July camping out of my van! that car wash looks familiar
Hi Abiyah I will pray for blessings for you to obtain a rig so you can stand and have room! You deserve it 💞
This was actually a refreshing video.
It makes a lot of since Abiyah, stay safe and enjoy your time with your son ❤
Hi Abiyah, I have been watching your channel for some time and admire your confidence in going out solo van life. A minivan can be challenging, especially when you can't stand up or stretch. Have you considered getting a high top to enhance your lifestyle more function?
Good morning Happy Saturday 💚💚💚abiyah
I wish 😁 could be adventurous like you. But i get sleepy after driving only 2 hours. 😂😂😂😂
