i agree he has been put in a shade category of his own over there.. but.. racist card does not hold water for me.. also not, "ah the european" card.. i mean jokic is also in both categories like luka (white and european..and balkan for that matter).. giannis is european too..etc etc.. i think luka is drawing more negative attention because he is drawing more positive fan attention... in addition to being extremly talented, he is also very charismatic (not really talkative and extrovert..but charisma is more about the energy people radiate and relatedness)...he is kinda a poster boy type...plus he is really in the center of game when he is on the floor.. he draws your eye and attention.. it is just that some stars have that extra something that is mesmarizing.. and rubs people in the wrong or the right way.. and more people start tripping over him with time.. too bad, i hope it does not bring him down.. as we know american media and the whole circus around it can stir some chaos in people's lives... i really hope this guy's natural shine he was born with, is not destroyed by the people wanting to pull him down..

Luka doesn’t only have the stats and ability to carry an injured team. He also has the game of an mvp. Hours and hours of highlights. Games that no one will forget. Ability to play out of a double team. Ability to use his teammates to the best of their abilities. No more defensive liability talks.
