@@SorinChebac Wonderful build, Sorin. I've been looking over the various models on this ^ site for a couple of weeks... yours looks like a larger variation on the regular DE23. Is this modifying of the plans a service they offer, or did you figure the design out yourself?
It's building method called cold molding. Some of the world's finest "fiberglass" sportfish yachts are built this way. Good marine grade plywood is lighter and stronger for the weight. Hence...a faster boat. Also more expensive than the heavy solid fiberglass tubs. Just look at Paul Mann sportfish yachts. They cost 2x what a viking will cost and this is how they are made. But...they are much faster and have a longer range.
@@shanedevon6447 yup. I know. I've actually built a couple boats from these boat builder central plans. Lots of work but also fun if you're into working with your hands.

you had me hooked in the first 20 seconds, i guessed you are French excellent choice of music.
you are a genius, Congratulations!!
Cel mai tare proiect ingineresc și personal pe care l-am vazut in România in ultimii 30 de ani.
I love how the workshop gets finished with the boat :)
Sorin, she is beautiful, you should be very proud! The music was very fitting especially during your ingenious method of flipping her!
i guess Im kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good website to stream new series online ?
I like how you used peel ply and round PVC pipe to form your perfect, no sand fillet radius. Good idea that I might have to steal.
Great build and even greater music!!! Thanks for the post. 🧐
Good job
Thank you...
suberb workmanship, excellent music, thank you
Fantastick job
how do i get the design of this boat?
Cat au costat materialele si cate ore de munca au fost in total ?😮
What is the thickness of the plywood
7mm for hull, 10mm - transverse frame and deck, 20mm longitudinal frame, 40mm transom.
I’m just wondering how long you have this boat before you start preparing or it broke down
I don't thing you watched this video from the beginning... :)
super

Is OSB a good material for boat hulls?
Sorry. I see how you used it. Nice work. I may try this method myself.
@@kevinhornbuckle Ok... OSB is only used to shape the hull.
I believe there are some boats build with osb, a google search might render some results.
@@bizim_eller Well, no. Not really.
Where did you get the plans for the boat

@@jmlitts I made the proposal and the project with changes, and the designer agreed with them after analyzing.
Do minimize moisture
Opera...really...
I wish wooden boats would stop trying to look like fiberglass boats.

@@shanedevon6447 Exterior grade glue is used and no or few inner voids to hold moisture and all structural plys. That is the difference.
Why in Gods name does every inexperienced creator add loud music to their videos, silence is golden, maybe a little narration would help.
