This is a very helpful video. In the beta I was stacking mostly my class specific stat over everything and wondering why my damage was lacking. I'm even more hyped for tomorrow now, appreciated.
OMG. I was out Monday and had the sock slip down under my heal. So annoying. Guess I should be hanging out over on twitch. Seriously though, these tips are great. Thank you.
love this clip. Sadly my builds which I made myself dont have any amplifying my dmg with vulnerable yet but I'll force a friend of mine who eagers to play frozen sorc to put every vulnerable mechanics as possible as he can.
Does anyone know or like how to ballpark this? For example, choosing between 10% damage increase from main stat vs 25% contextual? (assuming I can meet the contextual all the time)
Take a weapon it rolls core, vulnerable, crit damage. I never know what is the best next roll cause the % are different values. Like is it main stat because buckets or contextual that is additive but has higher percent value. 50 strength for example is about 10% increase, but close damage rolls like up to 25-35%.
Bud, you rock. Clearest explanation I have seen. Hope you make POE videos. All the stats in that game are overwhelming for this old man. Still my favorite game, but still need help after 7 years of playing. lol
If you don't like the details and just like to kill mobs and gather shinny loot that's perfectly fine. However, a lot of people enjoy the details and value pushing their characters to the max. This video helps people understand the game better and doesn't take away from your preferred play style/enjoyment.
If these concepts change as we learn more about the game I'll be sure to keep you updated.
Make sure you have Vulnerable in your build and in your group!
Does this apply to crowd control dmg% also or is vurnable better?
+100% x +100% is 400%, not 10000%. It is helpful to turn the percentages to multipliers, so the math actually works.
Good shared with the group. Good info on contextual and vulnerable

Music to my ears! Have fun tomorrow :)
Thanks for clearly explaining the buckets concept!
Hope it helps!

Sorry that happened :( But I'm glad the content is helpful :)
Looking to play your true werewolf build! But incase I missed it where could we get vulnerable damage in that build? Thanks for the vid!
There are plenty of ways! Gear, Paragon, Exploit glyph. Ravens are an easy way to apply Vuln etc.
Do you know if the clone for Rogue (ultimate) is a damage multiplier?
Thanks! Appreciate your work. :)
Thanks for watching!

Group play makes the builds so interesting!
