do you recommend lenovo legion 7i

    • @Buying_Master
      @Buying_Master  2 месяца назад +1

Yes, the Lenovo Legion 7i is a strong candidate for running AutoCAD and Revit applications. Here are some key points to consider:
      ### Pros:
      1. **Powerful Performance**:
      - Equipped with high-end Intel Core i7 or i9 processors, ensuring smooth and efficient performance for demanding applications like AutoCAD and Revit.
      - High RAM capacity (up to 32GB or more), which is crucial for handling large project files and multitasking.
      2. **Graphics Capabilities**:
      - Comes with NVIDIA RTX graphics cards, which provide the necessary GPU power for rendering and running complex 3D models in AutoCAD and Revit.
      - Support for ray tracing and AI-enhanced graphics improves visual quality and rendering times.
      3. **Display Quality**:
      - High-resolution display options (up to 4K) with good color accuracy and high refresh rates, beneficial for detailed design work and visual clarity.
      - Large screen size (15.6 inches or 17.3 inches) offers ample workspace for detailed CAD drawings and 3D modeling.
      4. **Build Quality and Design**:
      - Sturdy build quality ensures durability for everyday use.
      - Effective cooling system to manage the heat produced by intensive applications, maintaining performance stability.
      5. **Connectivity and Expandability**:
      - Multiple ports (USB-C, HDMI, etc.) for connecting peripherals and external monitors, enhancing workflow flexibility.
      - Potential for hardware upgrades (like additional storage) to adapt to future needs.
      ### Cons:
      1. **Weight and Portability**:
      - The Legion 7i is relatively heavy and bulky compared to ultrabooks, which might be a downside if you need a portable solution for on-the-go work.
      2. **Battery Life**:
      - High-performance components consume a lot of power, leading to shorter battery life. It's better suited for use near a power source.
      3. **Price**:
      - The high-end configuration of the Legion 7i comes at a premium price, which might be a consideration if you're on a budget.
      ### Conclusion:
Overall, the Lenovo Legion 7i is well-suited for AutoCAD and Revit due to its powerful performance, excellent graphics capabilities, and high-quality display. However, if portability and battery life are significant concerns, you might want to explore other options or complement this with a secondary, more portable device for field work.

Can i buy hp victus 15 for revit?

    • @Buying_Master
      @Buying_Master  Месяц назад

The HP Victus 15 can be a viable option for running Revit, depending on its specific configuration. Here are some key factors to consider:
      Pros:
      Processor (CPU):
The HP Victus 15 comes with a range of processors, including the Intel Core i5 and i7, or AMD Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7. For Revit, a higher-end processor like the i7 or Ryzen 7 will provide better performance, especially for complex models and rendering tasks.
      Graphics (GPU):
Look for configurations with a dedicated graphics card, such as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or RTX 3050. These GPUs will handle the 3D modeling and rendering tasks in Revit more efficiently than integrated graphics.
      Memory (RAM):
A minimum of 16GB of RAM is recommended for smooth performance in Revit. Some configurations of the HP Victus 15 come with 16GB or offer the option to upgrade.
      Storage:
SSD storage is crucial for faster load times and overall system responsiveness. Look for models with at least 512GB SSD to accommodate Revit and other software.
      Cons:
      Screen Size and Resolution:
The 15-inch screen may feel cramped for detailed CAD work compared to larger monitors. An external monitor setup might be necessary for more comfortable long-term use.
      Build Quality and Portability:
As a gaming laptop, the Victus 15 might be bulkier and heavier compared to ultrabooks or workstation laptops. Consider this if you need a portable solution.
      Battery Life:
High-performance laptops typically have shorter battery life, especially when running demanding applications like Revit.

You need a laptop with high requirements in order to be able to use Revet application.
If you're a student start saving today comma if you are a professional you must be watching this video because you need a second opinion and there you have it.

@@Buying_Master if Revet🫤 requires such high requirement then I wonder how those poor students with budget gaming laptop passes their course? Theres lab computer for those extreme softwares. And you need to go more indepth in spec detail to be a second opinion for the professionals, you just listed what anyone can learn easily by looking on the specs sheet.

@@lordofmysteries6436 i can operate revit on my surface pro 7, no graphics card. consider that lol. It's limit would probably be a building of like 40,000sf. so medium projects. you want graphics cards for rendering, and it would make the flow smoother in revit.
