Bill Walton was a great player for the Portland Trailblazers and brought them a championship very quickly and also won the MVP and finals MVP.
Unfortunately then injuries came on pretty badly and he had a few average seasons before becoming the 2nd team leader on a Boston Celtics team that is regarded as maybe there best ever.
I just really loved Bill Walton’s game he is one of my favourite players all time and he seems like a really nice genuine guy.

I remember when the Rockets played that championship series against the Celtics and Bill, Danny, and DJ were the worst in my opinion. I was young and dumb about what those men were doing on the court. When I got educated and did more research of those men, who I thought were coat-tailing, was when I had to humble myself and recognize game. I think that if Bill Walton had stayed healthy throughout his time in the NBA the conversation of big men would definitely be different.
