What worked for me since Chrome has changed settings since the video was made was clearing my browsers cache, which meant clearing cookies. That worked for me , since I was sick and tired of EVERYTIME I opened chrome had to sign into last pass, yahoo, gmail, twitter, facebook, etc.

I don't know if anyone will see this but I have found a solution! I untick the local cookie thing and it still fails! I've tried everything I have found online with no success. I started to tinker around and finally found the solution! 1. right-click google chrome icon on the desktop 2. Select properties 3. Select the Security tab 4. Select the account you use on your computer 5. Allow full control 6. Click apply. That's all folks! EZPZ I hope it helps guys! I haven't seen this information anywhere else. Try to spread the word!

The cookies setting he shows is under "Privacy and Security/Cookies and other site data/Clear cookies and site data when you close all windows" However, mine was already turned off, as he says to do, and I still have to sign in to YT every time I open Chrome.
I can't find the local data thing (which I used to be able to do) on new Macbook Air-- 2020 (everything is really dark may have to exchange and spend another 24 hours on the phone setting it up) . If i go to Cookies the Content - local data stuff I used to be able to find is gone. Did Chrome change their settings ? Facebook and You Tube and Chrome log me out everytime I restart computer but Chrome still opens tabs I had open. What I did was I Uninstalled Chrome with deletion of search history and cookies, then re install and turned off the chrome sign in "chrome://settings/syncSetup?search=chrome+sign" then relaunch.
