We live most of the year in Texas but have a small home in the Philippines. While visiting our home in the Phillipines we bought a healthy bouganvilla plant at a nurseey. The mother plant produces a long green tassel with a yellow bloom that looks like a bouganvilla. The nursery called them a bouganvilla and the vine. Leaves and thorns look identical to a bouganvilla. We bought a small plant so we don't have blooms yet. Has anyone ever seen one of these? If we go back to the nursery i'll take photos of the tassel and bloom. Ive been all over the world and I've never seen one like it, so i had tobuy one. References are websites to hel find a name would be appreciated.

Mine is dying, it lost all the leaves & flowers. I don’t what to do with it. All I can think is to give it away for free.
Cut the longest branches and don't water too much.
They’re deciduous they drop leaves in winter
The leaves came back and almost covered all over but no flowers still.

@@linzal44 it has lots of leaves and flourishing in foliage, but it has only a few blooms. Maybe about 3 flowers on it.
