KBOS is a unique airport for spotting not only because of the amazing background with skylines, water, boats, Winthrop but also for the variety of airlines, locations and different runway used. I wanted to do a spotting there since a while now, I'm happy about the result! Which plane did you liked the most in this video? For any questions or comments don't hesitate to write something below! Every airplane has its unique style and is too beautiful.
The Boston Celtics and Bruins planes are my favourites here, because of their bright colours (I'm not a fan of either sports team). Great spotting at BOS!

You can catch the Orange Line to get to this spot to watch the planes do their stuff. I think it's called Orient Heights or Orient Beach (the station) or something like that. Very peaceful and inspiring there.
There international terminal must be very busy.
It’s the blue line😊Orient Heights is the stop. It also continues on and stops at Logan Airport itself!
I swear I spotted here on the same day, I saw all of those planes with those liveries at Boston

YQBspotting They have some ok spots. There’s 1 observation deck but it’s not by the main runway, we were also to get an okay view from the top of the parking structure. There use to be a nice deck but unfortunately it was closed due to security reasons I believe.

At 35:46, look at the size difference between the JetBlue E190 and Lufthansa A340-600 behind it. Also look at the tiny Cape Air Cessna 402 in the foreground at 35:43 and the much larger Swiss A330-300 landing behind it. What I love most is all the jet noise at Logan airport!

The best place to watch planes (for free) would be the Constitution Beach, Fort Independence or simply to stand next to the water in Winthrop. The parking garages are very good as well but very expensive (like 7$ an hour).

Your best bet for Winthrop would be to take the blue line to Orient Heights and change for the 712 bus.

I flew out of Boston to KMCO, if your interested at KMHT there is a good place to spot directly behind Runway 35.

49:26 go around -- IFR can be tricky!
Ceiling was super low at this time! I think more than 10 planes did go arounds that day. They had to change runway because of the fog.

They were using 04R for landings and I don't remember the exact location but there was a street in Winthrop where you could park and walk a couple of minutes to get to water and get this view.

used to see a lot of domestic widebodies is DL the only domestic pax widebodies and still 3 different spirit paint jobs
David Harris AA do PHL-LAX on the A330, DFW-LAX/ORD on the 787 and MIA-PHL/DFW on the 767.......they do more in the winter, but the summer sees a much higher utilization on European routes.

It was from the central parking garage next to terminal C. You can get some pretty close-up shots when they taxi but for takeoff and landing its quite far from the parking garage.

If you stand next to the water in Winthrop you should get some good pictures/videos depending on the RWYs in use.
This is the airport my family and I use to travel since we live in southern NH, didn’t know a380s come thru, how often do they come thru?
When I was there, daily. I'm not aware about the summer 2020 schedule unfortunately...

It depends really, for example Emirates mostly flies 777s there but occasionally a380s, but like When I flew Qatar from there I flew on their first a350, and I don’t think Qatar flies a380s here. It seems like BA flies a lot of a380s here

Where did you spot from? I always spot from the terminal A,or B parking lot, and sometimes castle island,but there’s always something obstructing my shot.

Your spot from beginning to 7:46 getting the planes coming in from the north, and your spot at 9:35
Start to 7:46 = Loring road and 9:35 = Sargant street, both in Winthrop :)

Its Hifly Airbus A340-300, it was operating for Azores Airlines.
BA really don’t know what to use those 380 on. It’s too much airplane for them. It makes no sense for them.
