How did you know what i needed? I just Shredded a gear in my stock cr18p evo pro's yesterday. Thanks for suggesting it's replacement. Also, those Reefs 99's are wonderful. I haven't had any issues with them. It's janky but you can mod the wires out the back. I would prefer not to have to make that kind of mod though since it's so easy for manufacturers to just do it. Servo horn bolt, could that just be inserted backwards so the nut's on the outside? Always a pleasure watching your videos.
I wouldn’t own so many reefs 99s if I didn’t like them. I love them! But for the price of 1 I can get get 2 of these torq servos. Really has me thinking! Haha. But thank you very much for the feedback.
@@Moneypit__RC Yeah, that's why I bought one before I even finished the video. Looks like a Reefs so lets hope it holds up. Half the price. Yeah... couldn't pass it up.
Just ordered mine today, hopefully the redcat brass horn fits it or one of the other brand aluminum servo horns i have will work on it. Thanks for the video! Good out of the box test and review.
Off-topic question, how wrong can I go with a Furitek starter BL combo on a deadbolt? It has aluminium beadlocks, high clear links and bigbore oil shocks, totes stock otherwise.
I love my furitek starter kit. I actually have that kit in this ascent18. It’s buttery smooth and great slow crawl. I have many other furitek kits on scx24s, I can’t complain.
Just run the screw the back side and the nut on the servolink.
That is a good idea
That’s what I had to do on my torq for my scx24 Akers chasis build with Mues axles .

They are AMAZING Servos!
Agree!

Anytime! Thank you!
@@Moneypit__RC just came in the mail and the factory brass redcat horn fits the torq servo
I ordered the ptk 9497 digital and programmable, metal geared and cased 13kg micro servo for 19.00 from Amazon. It's worth checking out.
Nice! I’ll check it out
I just ordered a Metal water proof Servo for the scx24 and mount. Both my rigs are getting water proof servos for this Fall and Winter.
Nice! Excited to see.
