I swapped my coreless for Brushless and saw a decent increase in turning speed on my rig.
Depends on the exact servos the 2 I tested would be no different I the same rc
coreless looks faster here
It should be faster to start to move as it's less rotational mass but not sure how much it would affect the turning of the steering once the whole steering and wheels are connected but both would be great servos
If an esc bec can deliver 7.4v but at only 3amps and this servo wants 6 Amps would it be better to put the servo red power line straight to the lipo like the old fet servos or is that nonsense?
I can’t think clearly right now lol.
So these are 8.4v capable servos so you could power them directly from a 2s lipo or you would need an 8amp bec or ubec to run them correctly, if your esc can only provide 3amp then they would probably cause drop outs on your receiver or even burn out the esc's bec
What a sweet cheap servo! In real performance my coreless seems alot less powerful and don't perform as well in race conditions. But the 45kg bls is great!
I only run the brushless in all my race rc's and works fantastic
Now that really is interesting, there's really nothing between them apart from price!
Yep nothing at all really brushless runs a little cooler and little more kg at top end of voltage
@@WTFRCCars you would have thought that brushless would have had more of an advantage somewhere given the 20% higher price tag!
Now when someone asks for the difference between coreless and brushless, you can now tell them genuinely and truthfully, that brushless is Cooler.. ;)
Yeh in the long run brushless will last longer as there are no brushes to wear out
@@WTFRCCars thought coreless was just brushed but without the brushes?
@EddieDesigned no coreless has brushes but the core is made different to a stock motor it's much lighter
I've got the 3s 12v direct powered one , proper overkill but what a servo
Yeh they really are great for the price
I just installed a yeah racing servo saver on my egress because it wasn’t returning to centre and it’s def better but still not great. I’m using a 1060 with £20 servo and radiolink receiver/trans. Is it a case of upgrading everything or what should I try I just wanna go in a straight line.
I'd try the servo 1st as almost all servos will work with any transmitter/receiver and the cheap £20 servos ain't great
that's a sweet jig you got there for testing 👌
Thanks 👍Its a calibrated test meter as I wanted to be able to test servos correctly
which one is louder? a sound test would be awesome
There's almost nothing between them all 9imod are very quiet servos unlike savox lol
im trying to make a stealth car, which would you say is quieter if you had to choose
@shoqstar I would say the coreless is very slightly quieter
Damn I already have the brushless ordered 😭😭@@WTFRCCars
