Just bc other teams are making mistakes paying players just because they are next up doesn’t mean the Cowboys have to. Dak hasn’t earned a 60 million dollar year contract. You need CeeDee. No WR in their roster even had more than 700 or 800 yards receiving. WR’s don’t grow on trees. The last player Cowboys over paid without hesitation was Romo‼️
That’s biggest lie told a new receiver is talked about almost every year as the new breakout receiver in todays pass happy league where you can barely hit them. They definitely grow on trees that’s the one position that is EASILY replaceable. Look at all the teams who trade there number one received: chiefs either tyriek, Green Bay with Devante Adams, Minnesota with Stephon diggs. And ALL of those teams found a receiver or receivers to pick up the slack and all doing just fine . That’s not the case with QB and DE

I have heard a lot over the past few years about how Louis "deserves" a shot as a GM for an NFL team but this video actually proves why he shouldn't get one. He might "know" football having played it but he's just not savvy enough otherwise. If the Giants had chosen him he'd have still given Daniel Jones that deal. Louis is missing the point: Dak and Tua are worth let's say $45m a year. While they are making $10m more than that number. It's more about paying top dollar for talent that isn't number 1 that is the issue for Dak and Tua. People need to remember noth Trent Williams and CMC are considered Number 1 in their position. This is why S.F. has chosen to pay them and not Aiyuk. As good as Aiyuk is he is not the undisputed Number 1 Wide Out.

You can find a QB anywhere! Anywhere! Russell was out of the 3rd round, Purdy was the last pick, Geno Smith was 2nd round, Kirk Cousins I believe was a 3rd rounder, Dak Prescott is a 4th rounder. It’s not a sparse position, especially in a league where the QB wears a flack jacket.

Louis is right about how every team cant let their qb walk but the question is when do you risk no longer being mediocore? Sometimes the guy you got aint the guy. Kinda like dak. If someone has maxxed out on their potential, sometimes its better to just cut your losses and move on. May be better for both sides.

Dez had over 10tds and 1000 receiving yards 3 straight years with Romo. Just like Demarco Murray had 1800 rushing yards 1 of those seasons. Teams are not cash poor, they're cap poor. The contracts have gotten creative to move the cap hit to the end of the contract and kick the can down the road. The Boys already did that once with Dak. Maybe Dak wants to test the market. I'm confident CD will get a deal.
I can name at least 8 teams that would will go after dak . Raiders , Steelers, broncos , patriots, Seahawks, giants , panthers , 49ers , Vikings , wildcards jets if rogers retire , saints
