Nice job on the Video, I got my Yanmar 315 being Descaled with some Barnacle Buster right now... I'm doing it they way you showed in your video. It is circulating through the, Fuel Cooler, Oil Cooler, Freshwater Cooler and Intercooler... Thanks for the Video :-)
I would like to see how this would work on a home water heater the main problems is this scale building up around your burners and elements run a test and notify me
Reversing the flow is a great help when descaling these systems, we highly recommend it. This particular flushing unit allows us to reverse the flow, it's something we recommend to do towards the end of the flush but it is not showed in this video.
Perhaps I missed something. If the system is already filled with water (salt or fresh depending) and you are adding water to the flush system container, how do you compute the total volume of liquid to insure the mix ratio is correct? in addition, I would think (correct me if I'm wrong) in a salt water environment it would probably be best to first drain and flush the system with fresh water before introducing the cleaning solution.
the salt water does not affect the product, so it can be left in the system. it's almost impossible to fully drain these systems without tearing them apart, so the left over raw water will have to be accounted for when diluting the product, best option is to sue pH strips or testers, that way you know you have the right dilution ratio.
Marine growth and calcium slowly builds up in the cooling system and will require it to be cleaned. This used to be done mechanically but our Barnacle Buster allows you do this in place and represent a huge cost savings for the boat owner.
Our BB has many ingredient that help penetrate and prevent corrosion and cannot be compared to phosphoric acid in any way...none the less, good luck with using pure phos acid, that stuff is super corrosive and will harm your systems, as well as void most warrantees ;)
NICE VIDEO PERFECTLY NARRATED, BRAVO.....I AM GOING TO RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT TO MY SALT WATER CUSTOMER BASE.

Great audio - great demo!
Professional and informative video! Thank you!
Two thumbs up. Thank you.
Excellent video, thank you

that engine is actually not very dirty ..... nice video ..
Great video. Why not start the flush with a back flush? Seems like the forward flush is unnecessary....
you need to do on both directions ..........

@@TracEcological Yea, your reverse flow valves are cool, but why did you not answer his question?
Great video. I am interested in knowing if a C12 Cat engine is done the same way.....
Great no bullshit video. Bit surprised that the used solution went in the water, guessing it could have been saved for another heat exchanger job.

@@TracEcological Got it! Thanks for the reply.
Just....Amazing
Can you leave Barnacle Buster in the system at a low concentration for preventive maintenance?
What that legal to put that right into the waterway?
How often do you recommend this is done?
Great setup.
Who provides this service in Cape Canaveral, FL
That is my dad!!in real life he is my real dad!
He did a Great Job!!!
Question- what was the reason for doing the flush?
Marine growth and calcium slowly builds up in the cooling system and will require it to be cleaned. This used to be done mechanically but our Barnacle Buster allows you do this in place and represent a huge cost savings for the boat owner.
We can test it with a ph meter? specs?
yes, Phosphoric Acid works since 1920 or something like that....:)

Is flushing that stuff into the sea ok? Doesn't seem right.
Barnacle Buster passed the California fish toxicity essay test and is considered safe to disposed of down the drain or water.
