Glenfarclas 12, Bowmore 12, Ardbeg 10 all under $60 and high high quality drams. Also if you want value for money anything from Glenmorangie is a good bet too.

I've been a bourbon whiskey drinker for a few years now, and have always hated scotch when I tried it. I bought a bottle of Aberlour on a complete whim one night at the liquor store about 5 months ago. Since then, I cannot get enough scotch. I now love it, and am trying everything I can get my hands on.

I was never a whiskey drinker, always beer and hated every scotch I ever tried until a buddy of mine hounded me into trying Macallen 12yr double cask. Im guessing every time I tried scotch before that it was either cheap swill or a peat monster.

Whoever made this list definitely prefers the sweet, easy tasting scotches, in which case the list should be named so. Ardbeg Ueigedal, Glen Scotia 15 Adredour Calednoia 12, Glengoyne 10, Bunnahabain 12, Glenmorangie quinta ruban 14, Deanston 12, Arran 14, Benriach 10, can easily replace any of the ones listed in this video, among others.

For whiskies under $100, my personal recommendations are Laphroaig LORE, Bowmore 18, Tamdhu 15, Mortloch 16, Miyagikyo NAS (japanese whisky), and Glenmorangie 18.

I really enjoy the quarter cask but will be trying the LORE as soon as I can get my hands on it. I like the heavy smoke in the quarter cask, it awakens my dull senses

either poor knowledge of schotch whiskies or simply poor taste; Laphroaig in the 8th spot? That's a joke; And no Ardbeg? You need to practice harder.

@@makaan699 no, I love peat smoke I just cannot handle so much that all you taste is liquid cigar smoke. For example Edradour is a wonderful peated scotch with a nice smokey flavor and I highly recommend it.
