Mercury is the smallest planet in the Solar System and is full of many mysteries. What intrigues you the most about the planet closest to the sun?
Someone please tell me what is the colour of mercury? gray or which is shown on thimbnail... This question is in my mind from a few time ago
Will this ever be telecasted on TV ?
+black sand mostly its colour is shown as blue, orange sparkle colour, its shown in video's thumbnail and on wikipedia mercury page also. So which one is true
thanks I was thinking like that, but then I was confused why wikipedia have the picture of mercury that we can't see
That it is the closest to the sun still not the hottest planet in the solar system, the crown goes to Venus due to it's greenhouse gas effect.
The shot at 02:43 is crazy, Mercury is sooo far from the sun but in this shot it looks like it's as far as our moon to earth. Makes you realise how HUGE our sun is.
ikr
And she said that Mercury's circumference is basically the U.S.. Just look at how many two day car drives that is 😳😨😳
Im the biggest star
Then you realize our sun isn’t even a pebble when compared to some of the monster stars in our galaxy
Or just how small we are

Pluto: Am I a joke to you?
Yeeeaahh, I don't know if your jokin' but, Pluto ain't a planet anymore.
Yes it is a joke actually. Because scientists dont consider a planet anymore
Pluto is no longer considered a plain planet because of it's small size. The issue is that they found a huge amount of tiny planets in it's size . We would have a huge amount of planets in the solar system if we count those. So basically they eliminated pluto to keep things simple.
@@hassaneinalassadi8840 nope , it just doesnt clear its orbit around its debris
@@rajdehoo6993 that might be a second reason for not considering it a planet. But still the main reason is it's small size
What is so amazing, humans are able to study all these so well. Bless us
If Earth is the third planet from Sun after Mercury and Venus
Doesn't that make every country a third world country?
What do you mean
we are a third world planet..
Third class planet 😄😄..We have been proving it day by day...
Illuminati wants to know your location
He's out of line but he's right
It's weird that you never mentioned Mercury's rotation. While it takes Mercury 88 Earth days to revolve around the Sun, it takes almost 58 days & 15 hours for the planet to rotate. So 1 Earth day in Mercury is almost 59 Earth days.
True
I see I Earth day = almost2 months on Murcury
"1 earth day in mercury is almost 59 earth days".. i fail to grasp the meaning😂😂 1 mercury day is equal to 59 earth days would be more understandable
I love Mercury. I wanna hug it.

Mercury is my favorite planet in our solar system
I wanna know how they discover the composition of the planets.
Spectrograph
The rocks
The size of the core and atmosphere that contains oxygen surprises me. I wonder how can Nasa tells us the fact about the size of Mercury's core? Like what method did they use?
Mostly these days they probably got it off RUclips; what with budget cuts and the private sector robbing the funding intended for the space program blind on the pretext that they can, "magically," do it better cheaper and more efficiently when in fact so far they haven't done anything much at all and probably won't ever; but still at huge public expense.
It was much the same with railways.
They just kinda guess it (calculate size and density do there magic guessing and voila)
A lot of observations and a lot of math.
“To figure out what the core of Mercury is made of, Genova and his colleagues had to get, figuratively, closer. The team used several observations from the MESSENGER (Mercury Surface, Space Environment, GEochemistry and Ranging) mission to probe the interior of Mercury. The researchers looked, most importantly, at the planet’s spin and gravity.
The MESSENGER spacecraft entered orbit around Mercury in March 2011, and spent four years observing this nearest planet to our Sun until it was deliberately brought down to the planet’s surface in April 2015.
Radio observations from MESSENGER were used to determine the gravitational anomalies (areas of local increases or decreases in mass) and the location of its rotational pole, which allowed scientists to understand the orientation of the planet.
...As MESSENGER orbited Mercury over the course of its mission, and got closer and closer to the surface, scientists recorded how the spacecraft accelerated under the influence of the planet’s gravity. The density structure of a planet can create subtle changes in a spacecraft’s orbit.
...Genova and his team put data from MESSENGER into a sophisticated computer program that allowed them to adjust parameters and figure out what the interior composition of Mercury must be like to match the way it spins and the way the spacecraft accelerated around it.”

hi, i'm uranus.
I am neptunus give me more light please I am very cold

More like this please.
Now knowing that 1 year on Mercury is 88 days makes me question how old I really am. 🤔
earth time cycle
365(day)*12(month)=4380 days
4380(day)*10(year)=43800 days
mercury time cycle
365(day)-88(day)=277 days
88(day)*12(month) = 1056 days
1056(day)*10(year)=10560 days
10560(day)%365(day)=28months
28(month)%12(month)=2years
thats means ten years on earth is just 2 and half years on mercury and you can scape 8 years of oldness by staying at mercury in 10 years lol

Mercury is the Smallest planet of the solar system.... It makes pluto happy because now pluto is the largest dwarf planet of the solar system
Eris, another dwarf planet, is larger than Pluto.
ecks dee, no, while Eris is more massive than Pluto, Pluto is larger.
Here is an amazing fact about Mercury. Its rotation is so slow, you could have two birthdays in one day. Thats because its solar day lasts 176 Earth days, while its year lasts 88 E days.
and it has 2 sunsets

How do you know what is inside Mercury , did you went inside to check it.
Observation from earth and outerspace.
GRANADIER FC Infra red rays
@@dimzdimz4850 Yeah but there's only so much you can make of from observation. I don't believe anything is a fact from what the video describes. They (NASA recruits) have never stepped foot inside Mercury, so for all we know, some information could be false. I'm also not saying observations are pointless but I'm saying, there's only so much technology and the human eye can see. The same goes for all the other planets.
@@DingleDut Finally someone with common sense. These "facts", don't get me wrong, are quite interesting but so... Unbelievable. Literally. I'm not saying they're wrong. Like who I am to question scientists? Lol, but it's so weird how they can know so much about these planets just by looking at them and not even stepping foot inside them. We don't even know the actual size of Earth's core itself. How are they so certain Mercury's core size is that big? Like what device or method did they use? Did they step foot into it's core? Lol... I'm just being real here XD
@@faithalways8537 Some people just can't handle the truth. That sometimes overrules that person and leads them to believe anything. I agree with your point!
So planet Mercury have nothing to do with the metal Mercury eh 😂
Sumukh just like planet Pluto has nothing to do with the Disney animation alone character named “Pluto”! Many “completely” are unrelated other than sharing names! 😖
It's called nomenclature dude......even the metal mercury is named after the mythological God Mercury.........so it doesnt matter if it has to do anything with it or not.......they just named it.....just like the other planets.......for example.......Uranus is named after a Greek God but so is Uranium.....how about Plutonium.........or Selenium.......did you know our moon is also called Selene......and more
