  • What to do in 15 hours in Düsseldorf ?
First, of course, visit the best view in the city - Rhine Tower with it's 360 degree revolving restaurant and the public viewing observation deck.
Second - go ride or hyperlapse on the front seat of the SkyTrain.
Lastly, definitely don't miss checking out the Gehry Buildings in the harbour area, you've never seen a residential complex like this.

There is no way anybody travelling with me would accept to do the SkyTrain journey over and over only to have me shoot videos and timelapses! Your kids are angels! :)
Anyway, as soon as I can resume travelling I'll add this sort of videos to my channel. Thanks for the inspiration (again)

Haha thankfully the sky train ride was only 5min each way so even my angles didn’t get too bored 😜Can’t wait to do more of these kind of travel video when we all can, just have to learn how to speed up their workflow as they seem to be taking me ages to release, still got some summer vlogs to do 😀

Düsseldorf is pretty cool! I visited a long time ago when I wasn’t into photography, what a wasted opportunity! haha

Not a waste of a trip at all, times were different and trips like this maybe was what got you into photography in the end 😀👍🏻indeed it is pretty cool even from what I saw in less than a full day

I've lived in Duesseldorf for 15 years - and you've captured some really cool shots of the city. However, I'm really surprised that you spent so much time on the Sky train. I only use it as a mode of transport, and I don't think it's worth making such an effort, as all you can see are the less-than-picturesque airport grounds. The Medienhafen and the Rhine tower are cool, but you more or less saw everything on your first night there. I would have gone into the town centre (Altstadt). Your kids are maybe too young to appreciate the likes of the Uerige brewery/pub or Mai Tai cocktails. But it's a cool area with various shops/museums to wander round. And you can enjoy an ice cream from a number of fantastic ice cream parlours or just sit by the Rhine and enjoy the sun.

Thanks a lot, indeed it was just a very short stay, and I will definitely be back for longer one day. I love a unique transport method and suspended monorails just for some reason fascinate me, especially when you can sit in the drivers seat and hyperlapse it. Indeed the view wasn’t special but just fun to ride. When we crossed the city in the tram I saw many cool places I’d love to visit next time as you say. We will be back 👍🏻

Another great one Michael! Will have to travel over there at some point to get some time-lapses.

Thanks a lot Tom, myself I’d also want to get back there, ideally with better weather, and do more cool cities in Germany too
