New starboard foil a bit hard to control? That’s good, it must be fast!
I thought she was going over for sure.
Brilliant saves ❤
Fantastic limit testing I say!! That beast got right back on its foils after that first touch down! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Still impressive they can throw those boats around like that without damaging anything.
I did'nt see any boat ? Where did you see a boat ?
It's from the times when men were steel and boats were wood. Only now the crew is epoxy resin and the ship is carbon fibre. And somebody in the Navy forced them to do those wings. Next step is boats flying just above the water. Like the flying fish do.
@@voornaam3191 I expect they’ll need a rule like snooker has for keeping one toe on the floor.
Nice sailing over the edge......
Keep it up Boys....
Good save there at the end.
The forces must be insane when the boat is bouncing the foils on top of the water. Amazing what those are capable of withstanding!
The foils don't bounce. If they get too close to the surface they stop working, catastrophically
@@AngusMcIntyre you should rewatch the video. The foils are clearly visible on top of the water bouncing the boat. I know that that's not the way these foils are *meant to work*, but you're incorrecting me to say the foils in this video are not bouncing on the surface. Look just a little closer.
Wow! Against rules, but imagine the speed & stability if ML computer control were allowed.
Love it great control this boat and then bring back down brilliant absolutely wonderful sailing skills 💕💖💯
Jeezus !that woz fair flyin...keep that shit up lads ....and you were lucky wiv da save😅
We were sailing out of Sausalito in our F-27 just tapping 20kts and I’m feeling like a god. Then I look over my shoulder and here comes the Artemis boat (pre-crash) 4’ above the water doing about 40. Truly amazing. I think I’m going to start building some “after market” foils. What could go wrong?
WOW 😮simply amazing 🤩
It's amazing they came that close and didn't completely lose it. They finally turned it into the wind and started breathing again. Looks like they didn't break anything major like masts or foils, but they'll have to inspect and possibly repair basically everything
Trop rapide !🎉
Wow!
Nice save!
Sliding into the weekend like:
Sembra un cavallo indomito, ma fa impressione quando sale sui foil! Sarà dura!
unreal!!!
Seems very windy thoughs boats a real handfull in high wind.
Are Depends standard issue gear?
Cause they just filled that pair in unison. 😂
Nice save!!
Good to see that they're not invulnerable - gives the rest of us a chance!
Recovery practice ?
Farrr out lads 😅😅😅
Wow... great save.
New technique skimming across the water 🧐
Too much height for the high amount of cant hey lads
Nothing like pushing a boat to its limits
take note Dean Barker...
Ouch
Now any other team wouldve, struggled to stay upright and afloat. Well done guys keep up the impressive skills amd sailing.
Push the limits, boys. Let's go!😂
So is there no way to outhaul the sheets? Or are they only given a set amount of travel? Scary at that speed.
I'm guessing perhaps the ride height autopilot had a malfunction or a faulty input sensor, or a hydraulic valve or other control device or linkage got stuck
Yeah, same here. Or maybe someone had to send an important text and took their hands off the steering wheel foe a second?
Looks like an hydraulic problem with the port foil. Meh, technology.
That was close 😮.
Real on the rails sailing ... Some balls skipper...
How does it do a full 180 and remain at the same point of sail
Is this the 75ft boat or the 40ft one?
AC37 . The 75 ft is AC75
Waka haere pōrangi
saaaave
Close
Emirates fly better. Must be true.
o well looks like they wont win
