I was in grad school moving into new apartment. Girl who was moving out was abandoning her three year old Siamese. Cal and I bonded immediately. She slept in my arms with her head on my shoulder for the next 15 1/2 years. Lost her to kidney failure nearly thirty-five years ago. I have had several well loved cats since, but she was one of a kind and I miss her still. ❤❤❤
We love them all, appreciating each one's unique characteristics & what she/he adds to our lives... but there is always one who, above the rest, bonds with & comforts us and seems to "feel" us better than anyone else - even our closest family and friends. I also had a wonderful cat like that (my sweet Frankie), who died almost 20 years ago. When they are gone, we grieve so hard and miss them so terribly... But we are very fortunate to have had them in our lives at all, and they leave us so many deep and beautiful memories to draw on when we want or need to.
In February I adopted a female cat from a rescue organization. Since I’ll be 82 in a couple of months, I opted for an adult cat. It has taken all these months but she is finally doing some of the things in your post. She was on the street for her first five years and was taken to the shelter undernourished, pregnant and very ill. Although I bought her a number of toys she will chase them once and then give up. It’s so sad that she doesn’t know how to play. But she loves me to rub her belly, sleeps with me, constantly seeks attention (especially when I’m using my iPad), and head bumps me awake every morning. She does do something I’ve never come across with all the cats I’ve had. If I wiggle my fingers or say come here, she comes running to me! Our beginning was shaky but since she’s learned to trust me, we’ll be together for the duration!
I adopted an adult cat(convinced her to come into my house)after feeding her for weeks. Six hours later she had four kittens😹kept her/got her spayed/she slept with me❤️🌚🏜️🙀she didn't know how to play, either. She liked to be held, though❤️❤️❤️🌚🏜️♾️☑️

Can I make a suggestion? try cutting back on dry cat food. it causes urinary blockage and kidney problems, over time, Consider upgrading to ‘Purina One’ cat food brand. Cats can live a long life! With a little prevention, and higher quality food. 🐈 If you have an older kitty, take her in for a full senior blood panel. it can detect any potential health issues, early. HAVE FUN 🐾. 🐱
My cat, Kenzie, would watch me until I fell asleep rubbing her belly. But as soon as she knew I was asleep she would crawl under my bed for the night. The last few days of my dad’s life, I would cry myself to sleep and Kenzie would cuddle up to me and lick the tears from my face. The most empathetic cat I’ve ever known. I miss her so much.
My cat Harley does all these traits and I know he is happy and loves us. He is a rescue cat and is now content. He is a house cat and I love him so much.

I love cats so much. Dogs have a blind obedience that is cute but you have to literally earn your cats trust and affection. I like dogs also but their love is automatic and free. Free stuff doesn’t usually carry the sense of accomplishment that things you’ve worked for carry.
My cat Chico does it all and he even walks me to and from the bathrm and back to bed several times a night since my strokes . I love him to pieces for caring for me so much.❤
I rescued a very sick 5 month old ginger kitten. She has a heart murmur. I got her into good health. She is glued to me so i named Velcro. She is Special. Acts like a smart tiny kid in a kitty suit.
My cat like me is on her last paws. I have had her since she turned up one day small enough to fit in one hand. That was about 16years back. I hope we both pass on the same day. I'm dieing of cancer so she is healthier than me. And yes she still brings me the odd rat! 😮
I hate the thought of me dying before my cat at least if i die after her i atleast know she was happy and not scared in a pound or euthanized before her time is truly up.( Losing to disease. Or suddenly naturally) she saved me from myself the least i can do is make her happy

My cat was brought to me by another cat. She sat outside while he checked out the house not once but twice, after which she came into my bedroom and has never left despite the fact the door to the rest of the house is open. She sleeps next to my head, gives headbutts encouraging me to kiss her, and spends a lot of time on my lap. She sometimes let our other cats know this is her place. She is the only cat who ever told me her name, 💕
When I was a kid in the country, this feral cat checked out the house and then went to the garage where the other cats ate. Eventually, she had kittens and then left when she was done with them. Luckily we found homes for all of them minus the one I picked out. I was targeted by a cat. My other cat was crying by the door and scratching it in the middle of the night. Stupid person that I am, I opened the door, and she ran in, hissed at my cat, and then went to my bed and wouldn't let me get in that night.
Probably through intuition. The third eye is the conscious connection in all creatures. One of the seven spirits of God in humanity. It takes time to get sometimes but if you are still and just imagine that you are them, you can ask "what are you thinking about?" And let it just come to you. It'll be very subtle at first. Or imagine a connection between you and the animal, one heart to heart but only with love.
I have had two favorite cats in my life .The first cat I had was a calico cat that I named "FUZZY" . If I went outside and called "FUZZY ?" , I would hear this soft "meow" to tell me where she was . She died the same day as my dad . Sob ! My other cat was a Maine Coon male cat named "JERRY" that my wife and I got from our neighbor . Jerry was a big cat and weighed in at seventeen pounds .He wasn't fat , he was just a big cat ! Jerry was an outdoor cat that we'd let him come in sometimes . One day he pulled a "HOUDINI" on me . I was in the front yard with him and I called "Jerry" to which he started running up three or four houses ahead of me. I finally gave up and turned back to go into the house . He must have run up to the house and I never saw or felt him rub against me as I opened the door . When I walked towards the living room , there was Jerry sitting on the couch ! The little sneak ! I miss both of these cats !
Well, i'm 14 for 15. She doesn't bring me gifts because there's no gifts to bring except her little mouse toy and she keeps that next to her food dish. Other than that, sounds like my cat. I don't walk around my house anymore, I shuffle so I don't step on her. When I sleep, she lays on my throat and snores very loudly. I think she might be part dog.

I tell my furbaby NO WOLFIE BITES...love bites. My baby sleeps with me. GOD brought me my furbaby. My furbaby does all this and allows me to gently rub her tummy. I love my 4 legged companion. She doesn't bring me dead gifts because she's an inside cat. She loves lying next to me curled up on the bed. Love this video.
It seems our cats meet all 15 requirements, but I suppose that's not too surprising. I brought them home as part of an abandoned litter of four (4) day old kittens. My partner of half a year (now my beloved Hubby) and I had never raised kittens this young before. We learned how and delighted in watching them grow into the cats we share our home with today. They're now 11 and each moment with them is our reward for all of the hard work we put into raising them back then. :)
I have a ragdoll called Hermione & she definitely imprinted on me the moment I went to pick her. That was how I knew she was the one, I could just tell that we were soulmates & I had to have her. She only sleeps in my bed, only gazes & slow blinks at me, will only deep sleep near me, she is always waiting by the door/window for me if I go out, always marking her scent on me. Only one of my previous cats was like that.
I had a Ragdoll named George. He passed at 18 almost 2 years ago. You will be blessed to be ‘owned’ by a Ragdoll. Mine was soo precious and I miss him still very much. I also had a Siamese that lived to be 19. Soukie was also very special and imprinted on me. I once was bedridden for an entire weekend with an excruciating migraine and she never left my side. Our pets are a Godsend❣️
I have a ragdoll/Maine coon mix!! He came to me outside of an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and is the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life. One of the first members of Alcoholics Anonymous his name was Bill W so I named my beautiful little boy Bill (or Billie). He chirps and sleeps laying across my neck. He chose me ❤

I believe that she is my mum reincarnated...as she came into my life when I really needed her & she has the exact same eyes! The only reason I didn't call her my mum's name was because I either call my pets after fashion labels or Harry Potter characters, but she does have her name for her middle name...which makes the vet laugh as I put her full name on everything from insurance, to vet forms, it's even on her Instagram 😁.
My sister has a cat that brings her LIVE critters. He doesn't even injures them. He does this while she is asleep and puts them her bathroom. He has brought her a young rabbit, a rat, (that scared the heck out of her), birds and the latest a flying squirrel. She catches them and releases them back outside. I told her he is her pet and wants one of his own. His name is Trouble, I believe it suits him perfectly.
My cat actually knows that I'm allergic to mice (I will swell up, have extreme pain, and have even gotten hives before) so when she finds one in our farm house and Im in the same room she will grab the mouse and run off with it to a different room. She don't play with it in the room I'm in she waits till she's in a different room. She even guards the room im in a lot, keeping mice away from me. And people think you can't train cats lol.
My cat followed me everywhere. In the kitchen, toilet even whenever i do shower😂. Bumping on my legs and jumping on my back.🙄. Sleeps with me in bed and in my head . She wants to go inside on my hair and kneading my head my GOODNESS😂And digging kneading on my neck while purring so loudly
My cat will demand snuggles if i don’t snuggle them. She’ll meow and continue to rub against me until i get into bed and she immediately comes to lay down

My cats do all those except jigsaw hates her tummy rubbed and daisy doesn’t usually follow me unless im near the direction of food bowl. Jigsaw usually is the one in the walk way.
My labradine Labrador Great Dane dog found a cat outside well he picked him up head in his mouth carried him in the house.ib live in the county, he never left he lays around and needs my dog he sets up with me and my family once in awhile but he's always with the pup I guess he thinks the big pups his mom. Won't use a cat box he goes in and out when Emmy goes in and out the dog door So we haven't found any accidents so I guess he's staying.

My neighbour keeps presenting me their catch eg birds and mouse. They rather stay by my side instead of their own master. Is that mean they think I'm their mama instead of their own master?.

My 4 year old Tabby girl Nellie has just mastered the art of the perfect love bite Tiny little pinch with the cold nose nuzzle. Gives me chill bumps. Every last one of these except tripping over her She seems to know that I'm older. She's close and is convinced I can't go to the bathroom without her. But never tripping under foot.
Found mine in the trash when he was just a baby. He cannot be in a room without me and I feel bad when I work since I’m his comfort. Took him 6 months to even come out of hiding. But fuck I trip over him daily and have thrown myself on the floor often to avoid causing him injury by tripping over him
God I feel guilty now. This cat was always in my garden I started to think a stray but it was a neighbours a few doors down. By then like 2/3 years it had begun to be in the house fed etc. I had no clue it was the neighbours. Once I knew I stopped feeding it but it’s literally like my shadow. The worst thing is im moving soon. I just feel terrible to leave her.

Kahli the Destroyer likes to play with daddy but when she’s done playing, she brings the toy to me. Dad doesn’t get gifts, only I do 😆
I have a very vocal Siamese. He chats to me all the time. He greets me when he comes home and says good bye when he’s going out.
I have one cat whose love language is biting. She will gently bite my nose or chin and then rub her face against my cheek.
When I'm gaming she sits near my feet and keeps grooming me 😊😊

My tom cat has one extra trait. He drools when i start to pet him. Not much but it's there every time. Gross, but sweet.

my latest rescue (f 5) has finally started showing her gorgeous, white fluffy tummy.
I tell my furbaby NO WOLFIE BITES...love bites. My baby sleeps with me. GOD brought me my furbaby. My furbaby does all this and allows me to gently rub her tummy. I love my 4 legged companion. She doesn't bring me dead gifts because she's an inside cat. She loves lying next to me curled up on the bed. Love this video.

It seems our cats meet all 15 requirements, but I suppose that's not too surprising. I brought them home as part of an abandoned litter of four (4) day old kittens. My partner of half a year (now my beloved Hubby) and I had never raised kittens this young before. We learned how and delighted in watching them grow into the cats we share our home with today. They're now 11 and each moment with them is our reward for all of the hard work we put into raising them back then. :)

I have a ragdoll called Hermione & she definitely imprinted on me the moment I went to pick her. That was how I knew she was the one, I could just tell that we were soulmates & I had to have her. She only sleeps in my bed, only gazes & slow blinks at me, will only deep sleep near me, she is always waiting by the door/window for me if I go out, always marking her scent on me. Only one of my previous cats was like that.
I had a Ragdoll named George. He passed at 18 almost 2 years ago. You will be blessed to be ‘owned’ by a Ragdoll. Mine was soo precious and I miss him still very much. I also had a Siamese that lived to be 19. Soukie was also very special and imprinted on me. I once was bedridden for an entire weekend with an excruciating migraine and she never left my side. Our pets are a Godsend❣️
I have a ragdoll/Maine coon mix!! He came to me outside of an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and is the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life. One of the first members of Alcoholics Anonymous his name was Bill W so I named my beautiful little boy Bill (or Billie). He chirps and sleeps laying across my neck. He chose me ❤
I also have a fluffy cat named Hermione! She has a Turkish Van patterned coat. I call her Hermy for short.

@@mindyschocolate I call mine Herm for short, but she also responds to Princess. I believe that she is my mum reincarnated...as she came into my life when I really needed her & she has the exact same eyes! The only reason I didn't call her my mum's name was because I either call my pets after fashion labels or Harry Potter characters, but she does have her name for her middle name...which makes the vet laugh as I put her full name on everything from insurance, to vet forms, it's even on her Instagram 😁.
My sister has a cat that brings her LIVE critters. He doesn't even injures them. He does this while she is asleep and puts them her bathroom. He has brought her a young rabbit, a rat, (that scared the heck out of her), birds and the latest a flying squirrel. She catches them and releases them back outside.
I told her he is her pet and wants one of his own.
His name is Trouble, I believe it suits him perfectly.

My cat actually knows that I'm allergic to mice (I will swell up, have extreme pain, and have even gotten hives before) so when she finds one in our farm house and Im in the same room she will grab the mouse and run off with it to a different room. She don't play with it in the room I'm in she waits till she's in a different room. She even guards the room im in a lot, keeping mice away from me. And people think you can't train cats lol.

My cat will demand snuggles if i don’t snuggle them. She’ll meow and continue to rub against me until i get into bed and she immediately comes to lay down

My cats do all those except jigsaw hates her tummy rubbed and daisy doesn’t usually follow me unless im near the direction of food bowl. Jigsaw usually is the one in the walk way.
My labradine Labrador Great Dane dog found a cat outside well he picked him up head in his mouth carried him in the house.ib live in the county, he never left he lays around and needs my dog he sets up with me and my family once in awhile but he's always with the pup I guess he thinks the big pups his mom. Won't use a cat box he goes in and out when Emmy goes in and out the dog door So we haven't found any accidents so I guess he's staying.

Our cat qualifies for all except bringing gifts (she's indoor) and me tripping over her. She's black so I try to be very conscious of her whereabouts to not walk on her. You have to be especially careful in the dark lol
Yes I’ve got 2 black cats and they disappear into my carpet colour at night. I’ve kicked and/or tripped over them many, many times.

Found mine in the trash when he was just a baby. He cannot be in a room without me and I feel bad when I work since I’m his comfort. Took him 6 months to even come out of hiding. But fuck I trip over him daily and have thrown myself on the floor often to avoid causing him injury by tripping over him

God I feel guilty now. This cat was always in my garden I started to think a stray but it was a neighbours a few doors down. By then like 2/3 years it had begun to be in the house fed etc. I had no clue it was the neighbours. Once I knew I stopped feeding it but it’s literally like my shadow. The worst thing is im moving soon. I just feel terrible to leave her.
